Just got done playing Extended at a PTQ - Honolulu. 8 Rounds.

yeah, i got over this like a minute after I saw it.
Round 1 - BGW
He plays Fetches, Shocks, and Tarmagoyf. Didn't see him play *anything* else.
2-0 easy win.
Round 2 - TEPS
Mirror. Totally didn't expect it. I combo out early Game 1. Game 2 I almost get killed by his Vendilion Clique. Totally didn't expect it (was expecting gigadrowse).
2-0 win.
Round 3 - Naya Zoo
Piloted by a very confidant player. Had like 20 T8 pins on his mat. I lose game 1 due to his aggressiveness. Game 2, I flop a 7 count storm.
0-2 loss.
Round 4 - Elves!
yeah never expected it. completely forgot about testing for it. Game 1 loss since I didn't leave room for a Remand. Game 2 he's able to gather his combo pieces while reducing my life total.
0-2 loss. Wouldn't have felt so bad if this kid didn't look like a noob.
Round 5 - Zoo
Things turn differently. I combo out easily both games.
2-0 win. Feeling good.
Round 6 - Afffinity
Game 1 is easily won with a safe storm count. Lose game 2 to Ethersworn Cannonist. Game 3. EOT Electrolyze against Cannonist for the win.
Round 7 - Sea Stompy.
Played a girl. Lose game 1 to do not being able to combo off. Game 2, she plays Gaddock Teeg. I panic. I didn't not SB anything to deal with this guy. I keep playing trying to figure out how I win against Teeg. Crucial EOT step. Peer through Depths. Electrolyze. OMFG!!!! I forgot to SB these out.

Game 3. Similar situation but I SB in 3 Echoing Truths. Win the day with 2 blooms on turn 5 (forgot to play 1 turn 1 and drew the 2nd turn 2). She Vendilion Cliques me the turn I am to combo off. All 8 cards set to combo. with 2 Desire's in hand.
Round 8 - Zoo
At this point, I'm feeling fairly well since I know I should beat zoo. not only that but end of day and no blue decks played. Game 1 loss due to not being able to combo out. Game 2, Bounce Teeg, Combo easily.
Game 3. Electrolyze Teeg during Combat. Plays Teeg 2nd main.
untap, Bloom. Draw.
Set up for a possible Desire.
Peer through Depths. Echoing Truth. Teeg.
Desire. 6 Set up cards.
Ponder. Nothing. Shuffle. Draw. Desire.
Desire for 9. Flip over Tendrils.
End the day at 6-2. 15th place.
Play of the day. Why I didn't quit in Round 7.
So I'm watching a friend play who's playing TEPS too. His deck gets wrecked. Hardcore. Thoughtseize-Extripate Mind's Desire, Seething Song, Tendrils of Agony. He's got nothing but wants to play it out (game 3). His opponent plays Stupor with a Rack in play. Remand. Guy puts Stupor in hand and then draws a card. Judge. Game Loss.
