Alrighty, for anybody who may be reading along...please don't be confused! This is a sequel from another rp.The Guardian's had done their job. The gates were once again sealed, but unbeknown to them, there were demons who managed to keep from being locked up again. They have kept a low profile these many years so that they wouldn't attract the attention from the Guardian's who were still alive.
This is the story of a young man, the son of two guardians, and a young girl, the daughter of two demons. They do not know that they are from opposite sides, destined to fight against each other. The Guardian's home The Demon's home

CharactersCN: Rose McCormal Age: 18 Height: 5'6 Weight: 120 Race: Demon Bio: The Daughter of two demons, Kelly and Relek--she was raised by her parents to keep a low profile and not use any of her powers unless she absolutely had to. She basically lives at home by herself because her parents are always traveling. Other: She is actually very kind and gentle unless angered Appearance ----- CN: Angela Danvers Age: 36 Height: 5'5 Weight: 115 Race: Human/Guardian Bio: She helped many years ago to seal the gates that the demons were coming out of, but in the process, she lost the only man she had ever loved. She was distraught and hadn't felt well so she had gone to the doctor, thus finding out she was pregnant with his child. Other: She loves her son very much. She managed to provide well for the two of them, becoming a famous author. She never got together with anyone else. She was content on living with the memory of Kahn and having a beautiful baby boy. Appearance CN: Sophie Danvers Age: 17 Height: 5'3 Weight: 110 Race: Human Bio: Abandoned as a baby, she was put up found and put up for adoption. Unlike most of the rowdy children, she was quiet and kept to herself, opting to play her own, made-up games. When she was four years old, she was adopted by Angela and ever since then she has been happy. Other: She loves her adoptive family more than anything in the world. She knows about their powers and is fascinated by them and sometimes gets upset that she is so normal. Appearance

He is calm and kind like his father but he is slightly depressed never knowing his father. Other: His father's sword was passed down to him and it means everything to him. Angela sat in the rocking chair, staring out the window of the home she had managed to be able to buy for herself, her son and her adoptive daughter. In her lap she held a picture, her fingers resting lightly against the glass. She took her gaze from the window and looked down at the picture. A small smile appeared on her face. It was a picture of Kahn, her one and only love and her son's father. He had died even before Kane was born--before he even knew that he was going to have a son. She reached up and wiped a tear from her face. Today was the anniversary of his death, and this day she was always more quiet than usual, tending to keep to herself.
After having sealed the gates and losing Kahn, Angela had managed to do real well for herself. She had put herself through college by working odd jobs, writing small articles for papers, and when she graduated she got a big break. Someone had read one of her short stories and said they wanted to make it a series and they would pay her well for it. So that's what she did. She began to write short, mini stories before moving onto novels. Now she was a world famous author.

Sophie sat in the garden, digging up some earth and placing seeds in it, covering the little things back up. She took care of the garden and wouldn't let anyone else do it. This was one of the few things that gave her peace. She knew today was the day that her mom was always the most sad, and she hated to see her like this, but there was nothing she could do to help her.

Rose sat on the roof of her house, looking around. Her parents were of course gone again, and she was all alone. She pulled her legs close, resting her chin on her knees. She never had anyone to talk to. After a moment she got off the roof, deciding that she wanted to take a walk.

Kane was walking home from the store with flowers to make his mother a little happier. He got a small token for Sophie as well to make her not feel left out. As he walked he thought about th epicture of his father and it saddened him that he never met him. He thought about his mother and how she always seemed so sad when she thought about Kahn. He looked to the sky for answers and comfort although he never found anything but clouds and rain. He shook his head and looked at his house that he was now in front of. He walked to the door and walked in.

Rage felt the power serge through him as he ripped through the gate into th eworld of the living. He changed to his human form as his feet touched the ground. He brushed the hair out of his face as he looked around the alley way where he had appeared. This place although he had never been here seemed familiar he knew what he was to do. This world would be his at all costs and at any price. He laughed as he walked out of the alley and saw all the unknowing faces that passed by the future ruler of the world.

Angela held the picture against her chest as she turned to look back out the window. She heard the door open downstairs, but she didn't pay any attention to it. It was just one of the kids going about their business. She was sure they would have their own fun today. Besides---she didn't want to drag them down with her mood. She would leave them be for now. They didn't need to worry about her.

Rose walked down the street, holding her coat around her. It was a nice day out, a bit windy, but nice. She looked up at the sky and smiled slightly. Oh how she wanted to spread her wings and fly, but she knew that right now it would not be a very good idea. It was day time and there were too many people out.

Sophie sighed as she stood up and dusted her hands off on her pants. She was done for now and would continue later. She pushed her hair out of her face as she walked to the back door and entered the house. She went to the kitchen sink and washed off her hands before pulling down a paper towel and drying off the water.

Kane walked into the kitchen and plafully bumped Sophie with his hip before he kissed her on the head.
"i gotcha something."
he pulled out the butterfly pin/hairpiece/broach and put it on the counter. He grabbed a vase and waited for Sophie to move away from the sink before filling it and putting the flowers in it.
"do you like?"

Rage sensed the demons and people and guardians among this world he felt there presence and laughed. There was no one on the plane strong enough to defeat him. Suddenly he felt a spark a nitch in his plan. A guardian with more potential than the others. This guardian was stronger and more powerful than the others but was to weak to pose a threat right now.

Sophie laughed as Kane playfully bumped her. "You did?" She waited until he placed the thing on the counter. Her eyes widened slightly. It was a beautiful butterfly hairpiece/broach. "Oh Kane! It's wonderful!" Sophie picked it up and put it in her hair. "I love it!" She waited until he set the vase down and hugged him. "Thank you."

Rose stopped outside a jewelry store and stared at the pieces. They were all so beautiful. She had the money to buy anything she wanted, but she kept a tight hold on her money. She had heard of people spending all their money and losing it all. She didn't want to be like them.

Angela closed her eyes as she sighed. She rested her head against the back of the chair. All she wanted to do was crawl into bed and sleep all day, but she did have to start working on her new book.

Kane hugged her back and smiled.
"i got these for mom but i'll leave them here you know how she is on this day. We should get out of here wanna go for a walk?"
Kan wrote a not to his mother and placed it on the flowers.

Rage was getting hungry and wondered what the cuisine in this area would be like. He saw a petite girl walking towards him he stopped her and convinced her to follow him into an alley where he changed to his demon form and feasted on her body ubtil nothing but bones remained.

"Those are beautiful Kane," Sophie said as she looked at the flowers. "Mom will love them, I am sure." She clasped her hands in front of her, nodding. "Yeah---let's go for a walk."

Rose turned away from the window and continued down the street. Her stomach rumbled as she sighed. She should have gotten something to eat before leaving the house. She began to make her way towards her favorite fast food place.

Kane smiled and walked Sophie to the door and let her go out be fore he followed behind. As they walked down the street Kane just stared up at the sky and hoped his mother would be ok.

Rage changed back into human form as he stepped out of the alley. He saw a young demon walking down the street. He walked next to her pretending not to do it on purpose. He bumped into her "accidentely".
"oh i'm sorry i didn't mean to bump into you."

Sophie looked over at Kane and watched him silently for several minutes as he stared up at the clouds. She sighed softly. He and their mother always seemed so sad, and she wished there was something she could do about it. "Kane---what is the matter? Do you want to talk?"

Rose stumbled as the person ran into her. "It's okay. I---" she stopped when she looked at him. She immediately recognized him as a demon, and he was strong. "It is okay." Rose gave him a small nod. "It happens."

Angela finally got up from her seat and made her way downstairs. She had heard her children talking and then the door opening. When she reached the kitchen she saw the flowers and then the note. Picking it up she read it and a small smile appeared on her face. Her son was such a sweet boy, trying to cheer up his dear old mother. She sniffed the flowers, her eyes closing momentarily. Angela picked them up after she got herself a glass of water before heading upstairs to start writing.

Kane shook his head as if breaking a trance.
"huh? oh uh nothing's wrong. What did you want to talk about?"
He stopped at a bench and sat down.

Rage looked at her.
"I know what you are."
He smiled.
"and i could really use your help."
He wanted to use her to rule the world he wanted the help of all the demons of this world to help him before dispatching them and ruling alone.

Sophie sat down next to Kane. "I do not know," she said slowly. "Do you think we could ever help Mom feel better? I hate to see her like this." She sighed and looked around the street. "She deserves to be happy." Sophie sat there silently for several more minutes. "Do you---do you think she would go on a blind date?"

Rose blinked as she took another step away from the man. He was strange and there was something about him that she just didn't like. "Help?" She said slowly. "Help with what?"

Kane shrugged.
"maybe but you know how much she loves my dad, i mean she cries every year for the past 12 i don't think she's ready to move on still."
He shrugged again and looked back up at the sky and sighed.

Rage shrugged.
"well they have this hole town for demons and the humans went and took it over see and i was hoping to get some help to take it back."
He spoke quietly so others wouldn't hear
