[PRP:Ded?] Gable and Femi's first date? [Gable+Femi+Etc]

Upon entering C*cktails Gable escorts Femi to the bar feeling increasingly nervous. He hadn't actually called it a date, but he thought of it as one and kind of hoped Femi did too. He pulled a stool out for her and mustered his most charming smile. Gable turns his gaze to Maxwell behind the bar and flags him then turns back to Femi and smiles.
"I-" he paused looking thoughtful (not an expression often seen on this particular hyte's face) "I'm really glad we're doing this." Gable finishes hesitantly a blush spreading across his face.

Femi couldn't hide her smile if she had tried. She was so glad to see Gable, so glad that he was spending more time around the shop (and with her, of course). She hadn't stopped smiling since she'd stepped in and saw him standing there. He'd look so handsome, even more handsome than she'd remembered. Lost in her nostalgia, she took her seat, thanking Gable softly, looking up to smile at Maxwell.
When the lion Hyte spoke, she turned back to him, smiling wide. "So am I, Gable. Thank you for asking me."

"So, let's see what they've got to eat here?" Gable couldn't stop grinning, he was tingling with excitement that he was at lunch with, in his opinion, the prettiest and sweetest hyte in the shop. While waiting for Maxwell to come take their order he kept stealing glances at Femi, he had missed her while he was away and it was so very good to see her again.  

[HyTech - Maxwell]

"Hullo Femi, Gable," he wandered over, listing the two in his priorities. "What can I get you, then? Drink? Food?" He wore a pleasant smile as he gently pinged glasses with a claw.  

[Kaitaia]

Femi smiled as Maxwell approached. "Maxwell! How are you?" she said cheerily, looking up at the jaguar fondly. "What do you recommend?"  

[HyTech - Maxwell]

"I'm good, Femi, I'm good - though probably not as good as you're doing." He grinned wickedly before a thoughtful "Perhaps a light and fruity shrimp salad for you? If that's alright I'll get right on it." He turned to Gable and cheerily noted "What about the gentleman today, then?"

Gable turns a little pink in the face at the first part of Maxwell's statement then glances at Femi and smiles and turns back to Maxwell "Uhm...just a tuna melt sandwich I think?" Gable returns his attention to Femi and looks at her thoughtfully.  

[HyTech - Maxwell]

"Tuna melt sandwich." He repeated bemusedly, eyeing the lion. He got on the orders nevertheless, as he clicked his handphone out of standbye: "Hey - shrimp salad, tuna melt sandwich." After leaning forward to place the cutlery, he left the dewy-eyed couple.  

[Kaitaia]

Femi thanked Maxwell, a shrimp salad did indeed sound fine. She snuck a glance at Gable before she looked down at the napkin, smoothing it with her slender paws. There was still the hint of a smile on her face, as well as a faint blush.  

[HyTech - Julien]

Julien slipped quietly into the bar, carefully balancing trays. "One peach-citrus shrimp salad," he announced, sliding the plate into front of Femi, "and one…tuna melt sandwich. The drinks will be arriving shortly; do enjoy your meal."

He bowed, retreating discreetly to the bar, "Cocktails, Maxwell. And we really need to hire a chef."

Gable nervously poked at his tune melt and kept glancing sideways at Femi. "So..how've you been? I hope it wasn't all bad while I was away?" He asked giving Femi a concerned look, a rare moment of self-loathing rearing it's head in his mind for ever making the pretty little meerkat feel that he might not care.  

[Kaitaia]

Thanking the bunny, she picked up her fork, picking through her salad idly while she considered Gable's question. After taking a bite, she proclaimed the salad was fantastic, and turned to her lunch mate.

"Mmm.. No, things haven't been bad. There's been lots of new faces, lots of new friends to make." She smiled at Gable. "Kaede is a sweetheart, and Haevan is so cute. Then there's the Knights, they're both wonderful. And the children from Generation, and the Japan Hytes... Oh, there's so many," she laughed. "I've been enjoying meeting them."

Taking a sip of her drink, she gave Gable a warm, soft smile. "What about you? How have you been?"

Gable chews on his tunamelt thoughtfully listening to Femi talk enjoying the sound of her voice. "I know, since I've been back there have been so many new faces it's a little overwhelming. I hope I get a chance to get to know them all...but for now there's just one in particular I want to get to know better..." Gable trails giving Femi a shy smile. "Anyway...uhhhh I've been alright...busy this summer though..I got my aviators license!"  

[Kaitaia]

Chewing, she nodded to Gable as he spoke. "There are so many, its crazy!" she laughed. Reaching for her napkin, she dabbed her mouth, eyes widening when Gable said he'd gotten his aviator's license. "Oh wow! That's so exciting! Where have you flown to?" she asked with a wide smile.

"Well, I haven't flown far yet mostly locally, I've been working part time at a small airport as a co-pilot.....but soon I'll have my own plane and then maybe I can fly us somewhere?" Gable inquired with an uncertain smile.
