Rather suddenly, the tale came to a stop, looking around at the area in which she'd found herself. She didn't quite recognize it right away, but she did take a moment to figure it all out. So, naturally, Vidya stood there in the middle of the sidewalk, her arms folded behind her head, and a bun hanging out of her mouth; the bun being something she took along with her for the walk. Lowering her arms after some time, she grasped the end of the bun after taking another bite and put it back into her sidebag, which had a little lunchbox and a 'sleeping' faulty communicator named Yupei in it incase she got lost. While she put the half-eaten bread into the lunchbox, it finally hit her where she was.
"Oh! This is near Armel's house!" She breathed out, looking around curiously. For some reason, she felt bad for just...dropping off a present and running off. It seemed rude to her, and for a few hours after she'd dropped off that present, she'd felt bad about it...but as always, something distracted her and the thought never crossed her mind again, until now, that is. "I wonder how he's doing now...I wonder if he got that plushie I gave him?"
So, her mind suddenly made up on what she was going to do for the rest of the day, or at least a little bit of it, the blue tale took off in a run towards Armel's house, fully remembering where it was from that little visit she took earlier. Upon reaching it, she didn't waste any time in knocking on the door, and then stepped back a bit, to wait for someone to answer. "House call!" She blurted out cheerfully, without any real reason.

Pales was the first to answer the door, opening it a peek and finding a slightly now taller blue tale. He blinked a bit opening the door all the way with a smile, "Why hello there, Vidya right?" The man asked cheerfully. He was without his jacket wearing only a black shirt and black jeans. Socks were upon his feet and shoes rested near the door in the hallway, "Come on in. Armel is finishing up lunch just now."
As soon as Pales stepped out of the way there was Armel hugging onto Flint looking curiously past his father to see, Vidya. He blinked, "Gourry! You're taller!" He exclaimed almost dropping his dwarf plush. What a nice greeting.
Pales just laughed and waited for the blue girl to wander on in.

Vidya leaned her head to the side a little bit, seeing the door move, but yet..it didn't open fully. It took her a moment to realize that the man was just peering out of the door for a little bit...and to that, she couldn't help a slightly confused look. Did everyone but her family open the door that slightly at first? Eh, maybe not everyone...she remembered Inle opening the door fully too. "Hello! And yep, thats me! You're Armel's Daddy, right?" She answered him, and reciprocated his question with one of her own. Her question, however, was answered once the rather tall man stepped aside, and she saw Armel standing behind him. Vidya couldn't help the grin that split her lips not only upon seeing him; but seeing the plush she'd gotten for him. Yay, he liked it!
"Thank you!" The tale chirped out, lightly hopping through the door and politely taking off her sandals and setting them out of the way of the door. "Hiya Melly! I grew, see!" She accented her words with a small little twirl, causing the haori that was obviously too big for her to spread out a bit, settling back down once she herself stopped moving. Naturally, she used a nickname she'd given to him at least once before, and she was positive she used it at her parents wedding...so it should be able to work now, right? "How're you?" Now that she had her shoes off, she was free to walk into the house as she was invited to do so.
"Oh! You got the plush! Do you like it?" Vidya was genuinely curious; while it looked like Armel liked the plush, it'd be nice to actually hear it from him. "I really like that Lava Lamp you got me! Its so pretty...Its always on!" She gave her friend an eyeless smile, leaning her head to the side.

Pales smiled and closed the door once Vidya was securely inside, after checking out the door for a moment as if checking for something, "Sorry for the slight paranoia," he muttered, "Vidya, need a drink?" He didn't think he needed to answer the question she posed back at him and just gave her another one to reply to.
The grin was quite contagious as the ram-horned boy grinned himself, "I'm good, thank ye. An' you? H'w are ye?" He talked a lot more now since Viddy last saw him, he seemed proud of that fact. "Congrats on growin' too!" He added after.
When the plush he mentioned his grin turned into a happy smile where he then replied, "Aye, 'e is a good friend. Named 'im Flint. I'm glad ye liked the lamp." He held up the plush before himself before Viddy. Armel was wearing child's jogging pants and a shirt that proclaimed that he was 'Teh Prince of Kyoote!'. Obviously Pales made him wear the shirt.
"Les'go to the livingroom!" Armel turned to lead the girl into the livingroom which was just beyond the greeting hallway. Obviously Armel didn't mind being called 'Melly or 'Mel by the girl. She'd probably be the few he'd tolerate it from.

"Paranoia?" Vidya questioned, giving him another curious look. To be honest, she didn't know what that word meant...but she'd pretend she did, just this once! "Oh..Thats okay! And oooh...do you have any grape juice? If you do, may I have some, please?" Naturally she remembered her manners. She suddenly looked hopeful...to her, grape juice was the single greatest drink in all existance.
"I'm so glad you're doing good! I'm doing great! Sort of. I keep walking into things, though..." She giggled nervously, looking as if she were mentally sweatdropping...and the motion was complete with a sheepish rub of the back of her neck. "But thank you! Growing up is a lot of fun...I can't wait to see you grow up!" She was proud to have grown, much like he was proud to be able to speak more.
"Flint, huh? Thats a really cool name! Hi Flint!" Vidya smiled, briefly taking the extended plush from Armel to give it a wuick hug, before returning it to its rightful owner. It took her a few glances to read what Armel's shirt said, and she couldn't help the soft giggle that came after it. "Oh, the living room? Okay!" Vidya only happily followed her friend into the other room.

Pales just smiled at Vidya, "Of course we have grape juice. I'll bring it into you shortly." He said as they went to the livingroom while he wandered into the kitchen to get a glass of grape juice for Viddy and a glass of grape juice and to get Armel's glass of milk which the boy barely touched during his meal.
The livingroom was simple, a large picture of streaking stars hung above a large night-blue couch. The rug was soft and a very lovely neutral color. TV sat across from the couch, a coffee table in front of the couch with a wide array of toys on the surface. Every now and again something small, pink and fluffy would streak past squealing, "Toohkeei!"
"That be Toki." He explained without looking to see Viddy's face or waiting for a question, "She's ... Kinda shy sometimes." Armel left out the word annoying.

"Oh thank you!" Pales had suddenly become her favourite person in the entire world. Unfortunately, her favourite person disappeared when they went into the living room, and all Vidya was left with was looking around at these new surroundings. Not that she minded, of course.
However...something pink flashed across her eyesight, squealing something as it went. It left the tale bewildered, and looking around the room, trying to find whatever it was that squealed along the room. "Toki...? What is...Toki?" Vidya blinked, leaning her head to the side. When it came back again, it managed to invade her sight from her left side, her blind side, and it caused her to jump back with a rather loud cry of surprise. "Oh my god.." She whimpered out a bit, pressing her hand against her heart, as if to ease the pounding.

Armel squeaked at her outcry blinking, "'Ey! Toki! Gi'e it a rest already." he was trying to sound like he had some shape of authority, which was kind of funny coming from a little boy who wore the shirt that he was wearing at this moment.
Pales came in and set down the grape juice near where Viddy stood and set Armel's milk down where he stood. At that point the puff of pink settled on the man's shoulder bouncing, "Toki, what'd I tell you about doing that around the house, and guests?"
The puff stopped for a moment as if considering this then it looked ashamed, "So-ree!" Toki chirpped softly.
"It's alright, why don't you go play in own little house?" Pales replied to the apology. This was greeted by a squee and the puff was gone. The man laughed a bit, "She didn't hurt you, did she Vidya?"

Vidya's wide white eyes stared at Armel as he tried to sound authoritative...though right now, she wasn't registering what she was seeing. When she was a toddler, she could easily get over something coming from her blind side because she was used to her height and everything around her; and she'd always been very careful when it came to keeping things away from that side of her. But now, with her still unfamilliar height and the fact Toki was a sporadic ball of pink fluff, it was next to impossible to recover as quickly as she would have.
"It-Its alright." By the time Toki apologized, whether it was to her or not, Vidya had finally started to recover from the scare, and her fear was replaced with sheepishness. She glanced at Pales, and then shyly looked back at her bare blue feet. "No...not hurt...Just scared me." She admitted lamely. "...Came onto my blind side." She murmured a bit, finally taking notice of the grape juice. With a squeak of thank you, she took the drink and happily sipped from it, welcoming the distraction.

Pales nodded, looking sympathetic, "We try to discourage her...She must have gotten into the sugar container again." He let out a small sigh and shook his head. He sat down in a reclining chair that was near by as well.
Armel shrugged and drank from his milk after putting Flint down on the couch for a moment, figuring it'd stop following him as soon as he finished it. As soon as he set the smallish empty glass down there was a tiny burp from Armel which was accompanied by a faint blush, "So'ry" He smoothed out the front of his shirt and then picked the Plush back up seeming to absolutely refuse to let it out of his sight.
Armel rolled a small car back and forth looking thoughtful. He was politely waiting for Viddy to recover from her small fright, "Toki surprises me too sometimes." he admitted, "Bad habit." Armel added with a slight affirming nod.

Content with her grapejuice, Vidya recovered a lot quicker now. At least she knew what Toki was now, thank god. Purring happily, she sat down on the couch nearest to Armel's armchair. "Its okay, I live with a lot of kids and stuff...so I kinda understand." She smiled at Pales, almost as if the scaring incident never happened. However, her attention was then back at Armel burped a bit, causing the blue girl to giggle softly. "Excuse you!" Vidya polietly chirped in response to his apology.
"Ah...sorry for being scared." A sheepish grin came to her lips, and she distracted herself once more by dragging her gaze to the table infront of her. "Anyway. Whattcha wanna do now?"

Armel thought about that for a moment, "I'd ask if ye wan'a see the koi pond me an' da are buildin' but it ain't done yet." he obviously didn't recieve a lot of guests at home, "We c'n play a game?"
Pales looked up at the ceiling for a moment, "We also have a swing set and a jungle gym outside." The man offered helpfully.
Armel blinked and nodded, "Aye we have those too." The boy said with a conclusive wide back of the car-toy and just letting it run off of the table with a fantastic crash into the near by wall.
Pales obviously wasn't too worried about getting dents or having something broken as he didn't even tense up, and merely offered a, "Be careful Armel." Probably more for Armel's safety as well as Vidya's.

"A pond?" She repeated curiously, her finger pressing down on the top of a car that she found on the table, dragging it back and forth without much motion on her part. "Oh! A Pond! We have a pool in my backyard, and a lake behind the forest...but no pond. Can I see it, when its done?" Once more the tale looked hopeful, her eyes resting on her younger friend. At the mention of a jungle gym, she giggled once more.
"Swings and Jungle Gyms are fun too! I remember the one time we were at the park, Donny kept hitting his head on the bars" Vidya giggled, pressing her free hand to her lips. "But he turned out alright, thankfully...it looked like it hurt." She sympathetically rubbed her forehead, though. "By the By, I love them!"
Vidya watched the crash take place, clapping as the unfortunate toy ran pell mell into the wall. The blue girl lifted her arms as if she were doing the wave while sitting, though only once. "Perfect form! Nine point Five points!" Out of Ten, naturally. Laughing happily, she lazily pushed the car she'd been toying with, and it merely rolled off the table and onto the floor just as lazily. "Aww. One point five points to meee..." She bit her lip to avoid a giggle...she was trying to be distressed over her loss!

"'Course you can see it when it's done, Vidya." He nodded at the girl. "Me and Adonis climbed on a jungle gym once! Then he took me flyin'!" It was a short flight but enough to count as an adventure, "How is Donny? I miss him!"
Pales just chuckled, "Scared me and his dad half to death while at it." he said lazily.
He grinned at Vidya as she announced points and then did it herself. "Aww, ye'll get it next time!" He announced almost like a promise.
Pales lifted his head and looked to the pair, no use discouraging them, "Just remember to be careful." Then he flopped back again for a moment or two.
Armel glanced back at Pales then at Viddy, "Wanna do it again?"

"Flying? Oh, you're so LUCKY. I've never been flying..." Which was kind of sad, considering not only her brother, but her Captain had back wings that were big enough to consider carrying someone else. Oh well. Vidya then pressed her index finger against her chin, tapping it there softly...a motion that was borrowed from her mother and eldest sister, Mieke. "But I DID almost get attacked by a Chupacabra." She stated, as if that leveled out everything between them. Honestly, nearly getting eaten by a scary monster in an equally scary basement from trying to distract it from her Captain who had his claws stuck in the ground was ALWAYS as good, if not better, than flying.
Yeah right.
"It scared my Momma and Captain Tybalt's Momma too!" She started, then with a little meeker voice, she continued. "An' we got grounded for three weeks after that." Aheh...Oh well, the joys of their toddlerhood! "You can't get grounded for flying though! So you win again!" She announced to Armel.
"Yes, lets do it again!" She cheered, sliding onto the floor and crawling over to get the car she had used earlier, grabbing Armel's for him while she was at it. Handing his car back to him, she knelt beside the table. His Dad didn't seem to put up a fight about it, so playing like this should be alright...right? "You won last time, so you go first again!" She put her car on the table, nearest to her, and waited for Armel to make his move.
