To honor a text based RP that sadly no longer exists, I'll start it anew, though slightly different here. This is more of an idea that existed on Battle.net a long time ago, and I'm giving some guidelines to it so as to not get out of hand.
This is sort of a free-for-all RP, meaning it's a day-to-day RP, anything can happen here, (within limits. Let's not get too crazy here!). So therefore, there's no background on this save for the areas of this RP.

This post is dedicated to the 'map' as it were.
There are several areas surrounding this 'Town Square'. The most notable feature is a large fountain in the middle of town, with several buildings spread through the local area. A large tavern sits to the north of the fountain, with several other shops surrounding it.
Four roads lead out from the town, branching off to their own individual areas:
Forests to the North and East
Mountains to the West
Sea and Desert to the South
In the Forests and Mountains there are caves and other hidden places to be discovered. There are also several lakes spread throughout the forest.
As for the town itself, all sorts of various races can be found coming and going, each with their own business.

Races
To cut down on the mass of critters running about, and to keep things running smoothly, I'm narrowing down the types of beings.
Dragons
Kitsune
Humans
Elves
Dual-Species are allowed.
(if you want another here, lemme know and I'll see about adding it)
Dragons
Lords of the mountains, These ancient beings keep to themselves, save for the few that take human form and decide to travel far and wide for the thrill of it.
Kitsune and Elves
Kitsune and Elves share the forests, with elves being the more dominant ones around (basic fantasy template for elves is being used. long life, long ears, tree-huggers..)
Kitsune are even harder to find and almost considered a myth since nobody has ever really 'seen' one. Or been believed if they do. They know of everyone and only reveal themselves to honest people or if they decide to grace someone with their presence.
Humans
What's to say? Your average warm-blooded mammal, just living out their average life as best they can.

Age 24 by Human Standards
Backstory Kiya was born from a dragon father and a Human Mother. She got her human form and smooth skin from her mother, and everything else from her father. Bored with both sides of her life, she spends most of her time wandering in the areas around town, and the other half of her time slacking off somewhere in the forest or in the mountains.
Appearance Kiya has a slightly full-figured frame, which is mostly muscle. Her skin is an olive green, and her wings are a tree-bark brown. Her hair which is bright yellow is large and for the most part held up in a loose ponytail. The two horns, half hidden under her hair, arch back from her head. Her face is mostly human, with an elongated snout and forked tongue.
Other stuff Kiya is a hothead and a lazy butt. She's quite friendly and outgoing but can get violent if she needs to be. Usually in a fight she uses her natural abilities (claws, tail, teeth, fire breath) but will resort to using a machete in tougher situations.

Other Stuff
almost forgot a few things.
When sending a character template, the Subject is Town Square, or TS. I'll know what you're talking about if you just put TS so don't worry.
Swearing to a mild minimum. I realize some of you aren't..mm...'swear comfortable' yet, so I wanna warn you that there might be some uncomfortable language here. (Can I allow the F-bomb in this one?)
If I get the thumbs up for that fun four letter word, don't color your entire sentences with it. Use very sparingly.
Sadly, violence must be toned down quite a bit. By all means fight, but for god's sakes, no god-modding or (sadly) killing of RPC. If I see god modding I'll edit your post.
Other than that I think that's it.
