I've heard several times that there are two topics you should avoid talking about with people at all costs: religion and politics. So I thought I'd talk about 'em. Just a series of questions, really, with no real aim, I just thought it'd be amusing. They're probably all going to be 'hot' questions, or ones with commonly debated answers. I haven't decided yet.
1. What, if any, religion do you follow? Why, and how fervently?
2. What are your views on gay marriage?
3. Gender equality? Should men and women be able to do exactly the same things as one another, i.e. female truckers, male midwives, and other such apparent 'oddities'?
4. Aaaaand race? i.e., Should job eligibility/wages/legal treatment/etc. be dependent on race?
5. Should some substances be illegalized or rationed, or should everything be fair game?
6. Were you to rewrite the laws of your country, what would be the most important for you (not necessarily one law alone, it could be anywhere from one to fifty, depending on how creative you are)?
7. Are we there yet?
8. Should the number of children within a household be set at a particular maximum, such as in China?
9. I am awesome. This isn't really a question, I just thought I'd letcha know.

1. What, if any, religion do you follow? Why, and how fervently? I follow no religion. None ever pulled me and I can't see sense in any of them. They seem like they cause more trouble than they solve.
2. What are your views on gay marriage? If the gay community want to join in the pain and suffering of marriage why should anyone stop them? Put it this way - if marriage hadn't been invented and someone comes up with this idea that will tie you and your partners assets and belongings together legally and financially and result in a messy and complicated split when the time comes, would you buy into it? I don't need a piece of paper to validate my love. But if that's what you want, everyone should have equal rights to it.
3. Gender equality? Should men and women be able to do exactly the same things as one another, i.e. female truckers, male midwives, and other such apparent 'oddities'? For sure. It's one of my dreams to become a truckie for a year crossing the Nullaboor plain back and forth. Gender is no guarantee of skill or success and the job should always go to the better person.
4. Aaaaand race? i.e., Should job eligibility/wages/legal treatment/etc. be dependent on race? So long as you can speak the language of the country you're in ((For jobs that involve customers and stuff otherwise basic language skill is fine.)) it shouldn't matter what race you are. For ******** sake its not like you picked it - its not a gang.
5. Should some substances be illegalized or rationed, or should everything be fair game? Yes. Firstly - pot for medical use. I've seen people die of cancer. It's not pretty, and its painful. I for one would be doing something much harder than pot if that were me so its the least we can do for those suffering. As for other drugs I wouldn't legalise them, but governments should find a way of regulating them and their content. Drugs will never be safe, but they could be safer. You take control of the market - for example give dealers with drugs that have been cut with s**t or are too high in purity tougher sentences. And give the more... "honest" dealers a regular sentence. Which may or may not need to be bumped up depending on the law where you are.
6. Were you to rewrite the laws of your country, what would be the most important for you (not necessarily one law alone, it could be anywhere from one to fifty, depending on how creative you are)? Oh christ - first of all I'd overhaul the legal system. It's too light on criminals. I think if we deal with that the rest of the country would fall into place and you can work on laws from there. I'd abolish the legal limit for BAC to zero tolerance and force industry to use recycled water so we can use the clean stuff and not have to start using recycled water ourselves. Cause GROSS.
7. Are we there yet? Well you tell me Mr. Where in terms of what?
8. Should the number of children within a household be set at a particular maximum, such as in China? Yes. In countries running low on resources - such as my own. Two per family. I also believe people should have to sit a test before having a child ((When planned at the very least.)) because some people are unfit to be parents!
9. I am awesome. This isn't really a question, I just thought I'd letcha know. This IS in fact a question and the answer is its me.

1. What, if any, religion do you follow? Why, and how fervently? I dont follow a religion, well maybe flyingspagettimonsterism but only from time to time, other than that I dont feel the need to believe in anything other than myself and that the world will always be worse than you think.
2. What are your views on gay marriage? If they want to suffer marriage let them, I believe in freedom to do just about anything, I believe in gay marriage and that people should be free to marry more than one person if they want if the others also consent too it, though I don't believe in marriage on a whole really.
3. Gender equality? Should men and women be able to do exactly the same things as one another, i.e. female truckers, male midwives, and other such apparent 'oddities'? I 100 percent believe in this, I think gender discrimination is a sign of moronic tendency, in the end I don't generalize things usually with gender.
4. Aaaaand race? i.e., Should job eligibility/wages/legal treatment/etc. be dependent on race? No, well if the person is a giant slug man who eats people I'd think twice about him working in certain jobs but otherwise freedom for whatever you want to do.
5. Should some substances be illegalized or rationed, or should everything be fair game? I'd say fair game, if people want to kill themselves with hard narcotics that's they're problem, just removes unwanted people from the gene pool.
6. Were you to rewrite the laws of your country, what would be the most important for you (not necessarily one law alone, it could be anywhere from one to fifty, depending on how creative you are)? The law against religious indoctrination of children, I believe children should be free from all religion from family's etc while they grow and that it should be up to schools to teach them about different religions from many different cultures etc, and the choice of what they believe in or if they don't, should be up to them when they're older.
Other than that the death sentence for active ***** and Ephebophilia and rapists
7. Are we there yet? Depends, where are we going.
8. Should the number of children within a household be set at a particular maximum, such as in China? Yes zero I'm not a fan of children.
9. I am awesome. This isn't really a question, I just thought I'd letcha know. Maybe so but even you will have to bow down to the awesomeness and glory of my friends gangster hat wearing Chihuahua Mezzle.

little_evil_goth Akira what on earth is a ephebophile? Someone who is attracted to pubecent humans (teenagers), in comparison to a ***** (or in your case ******) being someone attracted to prepubecent humans.
1. What, if any, religion do you follow? Why, and how fervently? I'm quite happy with sanity and science, thank you.
2. What are your views on gay marriage? Happy marriages are an oxymoron; same-sex marriages are just as bad as heterosexual ones. 3. Gender equality? Should men and women be able to do exactly the same things as one another, i.e. female truckers, male midwives, and other such apparent 'oddities'? Gender shouldn't matter if you're masculine, feminine, androgynous, transgendered, bigendered, gender queer, two-spirited, et cetera. For those who don't know those terms, you're missing out on some very interesting people and culture.
4. Aaaaand race? i.e., Should job eligibility/wages/legal treatment/etc. be dependent on race? Of course not. Some scholarships until the wage gap is evened a bit, but if you can't do the job, you can't do the job.
5. Should some substances be illegalized or rationed, or should everything be fair game? Certainly. You can't trust people with cellphones and cars these days, who knows what they'll do with nine grams of PCP and a pistol?
6. Were you to rewrite the laws of your country, what would be the most important for you (not necessarily one law alone, it could be anywhere from one to fifty, depending on how creative you are)? Oh ho ho ho...now where to start... twisted The laws regarding gender protectiion and adoption. In the case of the former, protection for all genders and the right to be refere to and present themselves as their prefered name and gender in legal documents and court without piles of paperwork. Some poor MTF getting outed over a fender-bender is just sick and cruel. In the case of the latter, ******** DNA. Children are taken from their biological parents because they are unfit and dangerous! Putting them back in an abusive enviroment because an adult has promised to do better is insane. I say bio parents get one chance then have to work their asses off to even be considered for getting a child back. DNA means nothing; mind and dedication are what make a good parent.
7. Are we there yet? Nope, it is always over yonder....
8. Should the number of children within a household be set at a particular maximum, such as in China? A maximum of four children should be set. Taxes should be set for tax breaks for someone with one child, none for someone with two, extra taxes for someone with three or four. People don't reproduce in a bubble and children are not a right; they are people and deserve decent care. There is a limit to how much a society can sustain.
9. I am awesome. This isn't really a question, I just thought I'd letcha know. Of course you are, sweetie.

1. What, if any, religion do you follow? Why, and how fervently? I can't say I do. I'm a slight eclectic; I research a little about each of the main religions of the world, and try and understand the principals that overlap. There has to be some underlying truth is multiple people think the same thing across a diverse plane of religions.
2. What are your views on gay marriage? I'm obviously very for it. I'm engaged to a woman currently. My mom told me if she could vote [she's a legal alien, Canadian Citizen] she'd vote against marriage of two people being the same gender. But I argued ... "how would you know? How would homosexual people getting married really affect you? I'm sure ou see people smoking every day. You don't like people who smoke, does that mean you're going to try to ban smoking?" She replied that she wouldn't know. " Exactly. In the time of this conversations, 5 couples probably got married."
3. Gender equality? Should men and women be able to do exactly the same things as one another, i.e. female truckers, male midwives, and other such apparent 'oddities'? I don't like the saying 'anything you can do, i can do better' when it comes to things like gender specific jobs. Though I have to be very honest with you. When it comes that time of the year for the female pelvic exams and blah blah blah, gay or not, I'd much rather a woman be looking all up and down me. It's morally wrong for some weirdo guy to be poking around. Sorry. But you get the idea. I don't see an issue with either gender doing most jobs.
4. Aaaaand race? i.e., Should job eligibility/wages/legal treatment/etc. be dependent on race? It depends on the job and reliability of the person. Not all stereotypes are true to person; but you also have to be aware that some of them are true, or where would the archetypes come from? How a person is treated should be based on an individual basis. After interviews and talk, meetings and the like, not .. 'You're a blonde haired, large busted woman, you're a slut, we don't want your kind' or 'You're a short mexican with a moustache and scars, you stupid gang b***h, we don't want your kind.' I don't like that.
5. Should some substances be illegalized or rationed, or should everything be fair game? I'm going to honestly say I don't know enough about how much legalizing pot would help any economy, that or any other psychotropic drug or anything.
6. Were you to rewrite the laws of your country, what would be the most important for you (not necessarily one law alone, it could be anywhere from one to fifty, depending on how creative you are)? I wouldn't have to re-write. I just want to enforce ' ... and the pursuit of happiness.'
7. Are we there yet? I hated that movie. I hated that movie. I hated that movie.
8. Should the number of children within a household be set at a particular maximum, such as in China? Nope. At first I wanted to say 'to a degree.' I 100% disagree with 'octo-mom' because she's a stupid b***h. She's going to wine the rest of her life when she has to send god-knows how many kids to college and complain when she can't do anything with her life because yes. Eventually she will get tired of it. But she put herself in that damn situation. SUCKS FOR HER. Let people do what they want, suffer how they want.
9. I am awesome. This isn't really a question, I just thought I'd letcha know. Not a question, but also an unarguable statement of hard truth.

1. What, if any, religion do you follow? Why, and how fervently? I follow no religion as of right now. I used to follow the Pagan/Wiccan religion but I came to the conclusion that I'm not going to mess with spirits, they're more dangerous than the human hand.
2. What are your views on gay marriage? I'm a proud supporter of gays and gay marriage, love is love and no one can stop it.
3. Gender equality? Should men and women be able to do exactly the same things as one another, i.e. female truckers, male midwives, and other such apparent 'oddities'? I think that a person should be able to do what they think fitting for themselves. So if a woman wants to be a truck driver then she should be able to be.
4. Aaaaand race? i.e., Should job eligibility/wages/legal treatment/etc. be dependent on race? No. We all are people, no matter what color of skin.
5. Should some substances be legalized or rationed, or should everything be fair game? I think weed should be legalized just like cigarettes. They have the same affects and harm you in the same way so why should one be legal and the other not?
6. Were you to rewrite the laws of your country, what would be the most important for you (not necessarily one law alone, it could be anywhere from one to fifty, depending on how creative you are)? The only thing I would change is how you basically have to 18 to date anyone. I mean you can date people in your age group but god forbid if they're 3 years older. =/ I think that if your parents give you two the permission then you should be able to date them.
7. Are we there yet? Nope.
8. Should the number of children within a household be set at a particular maximum, such as in China? Yes and no. 3 or 4 children is alright but not 18 or 19, you just can not take care of those many children.
9. I am awesome. This isn't really a question, I just thought I'd letcha know. Uh .. okay.

1. What, if any, religion do you follow? Why, and how fervently? none because I was brought up without one I guess. Wasn't trained to obey whatever is out there.
2. What are your views on gay marriage? I'm alright with it. If people want to be unified then why not.
3. Gender equality? Should men and women be able to do exactly the same things as one another, i.e. female truckers, male midwives, and other such apparent 'oddities'? This is hard to achieve because of all the preconceived notions that every one has how gender should be. plus with the imbalance of more girls then boys being born lately it seems that gender equality might not be the matter at all if boys are cease to be born. women would probably continue because there is new tech being experimented where two women can have babies with just their eggs.
4. Aaaaand race? i.e., Should job eligibility/wages/legal treatment/etc. be dependent on race? I am Malaysian Chinese. This means I shall forever be a second class citizen no matter where in the world I go. Malaysia is an Islam country. Thus, not being Malay, my race is not given priority and is accuse of stealing jobs when we work really hard because we do not get help from the government as do the 'true people' of my country does.I really don't feel that anything should be dependent on race because if one race works hard and rises it is still being under appreciated and unjustly accused.
5. Should some substances be illegalized or rationed, or should everything be fair game? lets have war. cause no matter what option it seems to lead to war.
6. Were you to rewrite the laws of your country, what would be the most important for you (not necessarily one law alone, it could be anywhere from one to fifty, depending on how creative you are)? I really wouldn't know how to answer this one.
7. Are we there yet? who knows with you.
8. Should the number of children within a household be set at a particular maximum, such as in China? depends on the country. China is because they had an overpopulation. thus to save their country from imploding with an overload of people the law had to be imposed.
9. I am awesome. This isn't really a question, I just thought I'd letcha know. ah jack the same as when you first joined the guild.

1. What, if any, religion do you follow? Why, and how fervently?
I don't follow any mainstream religion. I am atheist, though. And I also am a magickian. Cus I'm crazy like that. But yeah, if you really want to know what I believe as far as the afterlife, it's mostly based off of the movie/book What Dreams May Come. I pretty much figure that all things are fine as long as you don't hurt anyone/anything while doing it without their consent.
2. What are your views on gay marriage?
Eh. I'm confusing about this. I think that marriage is something that should exist only in a church, for the sake of separation of church and state. Sooo, everyone gets civil unions as the official state-and-government-acknowledged paperwork, and should they like, each church and each couple can decide whether to have a ceremony. That way, gender is taken out of the equation, and everyone gets the same rights.
3. Gender equality? Should men and women be able to do exactly the same things as one another, i.e. female truckers, male midwives, and other such apparent 'oddities'?
Female truckers and male midwives are fine, but males really shouldn't be OBGYNs. Sorry, that'd be way awkward, though. Otherwise, you should be able to do whatever you want.
4. Aaaaand race? i.e., Should job eligibility/wages/legal treatment/etc. be dependent on race?
Um. No.
5. Should some substances be illegalized or rationed, or should everything be fair game?
Everything should be fair game. Almost. Except things that are actually addictive, like heroin or coke. I especially support legalizing marijuana right now, because should they heavily tax it, it could really help the government out. But, all of this should be available at the age of 18. And people should be able to start drinking at 18, too.
6. Were you to rewrite the laws of your country, what would be the most important for you (not necessarily one law alone, it could be anywhere from one to fifty, depending on how creative you are)?
Eh. I would just change everything above. And kick out every goddamn lobbyist.
7. Are we there yet?
Where?
8. Should the number of children within a household be set at a particular maximum, such as in China?
Umm. I don't really agree with this, but it should be at a maximum of 3 per household unless they are in a certain paygrade that allows them to support each child. But only if there had to be a limit.

1. What, if any, religion do you follow? Why, and how fervently?
-me- None. why, simply I find no reason or rational belonging of it in my everday life
2. What are your views on gay marriage?
_me_ I approve of it
3. Gender equality? Should men and women be able to do exactly the same things as one another, i.e. female truckers, male midwives, and other such apparent 'oddities'?
-me- All sex and race should be equally paid the same. Discrimination is crap. everyone capable of doing a job.
4. Aaaaand race? i.e., Should job eligibility/wages/legal treatment/etc. be dependent on race?
-me- same as the above all is equal in the eyes of man. or at least it should.
5. Should some substances be illegalized or rationed, or should everything be fair game?
-me- Weed. because weed is not that bad if you really look at it. like smoking there is a a lot of propaganda about it (only smoke really does kill you) but the majority try to keep the truth from you. 6. Were you to rewrite the laws of your country, what would be the most important for you (not necessarily one law alone, it could be anywhere from one to fifty, depending on how creative you are)?
7. Are we there yet?
-me- shut up and go to sleep i'll wake you when were there.. ********. Should the number of children within a household be set at a particular maximum, such as in China?
thats really a myth. unless any of you are actually from china my one of my best friend is from china and has told there quite a lot of crap that has been said only because its "communism" which really isn't that true China has move far away from communism now and more capitalist then ever.
