~*Mythologically Challenged RP*~
What if all the stories of Roman and Greek mythology were true? What if they were all wrong at the same time? What if Zeus answered to a higher power? What if said higher power walked among humans, completely undetectable? What if said Higher Power was masquerading as a senshi in order to help them get rid of their latest enemy? What could possibly be so bad that the senshi can't handle it and they need the help of the being that created the Titans and the Olympians? Or is it just because this higher power is bored and wants to help? Or is it all much greater and more important than even SHE knows?
The place: Tokyo; the year: only a few years after Sailor Galaxia had been healed; what and why: no one knows.
There have been recent rashes of odd health concerns. People go into the ER with no heartbeats and no brain wave response, however they awaken mere minutes later, still with no pulse, but their brains are fully functional and alert. The doctors and scientists believe it is a new disease that makes the heart slow and become so faint as to be nearly undetectable, however the senshi know better than that... These 'people', once awake, were released from the hospital. Soon after, a new set of cases come in. Now it's up to the senshi; both new, old, and all those who call earth their home; to figure out what's going on, how, and why.

Lucis looked down on the mortals on the worlds below..... Coming to one of her particular favorites, even for all it's constant warring amongst it's people, she scanned around. Earth.... her definite favorite. She was glad she had created this one last. She had combined the best of all her previous worlds into one, then her sister brought depth and life to it. The crystal-clear oceans, lakes, ponds, and puddles. The lush shrubbery and dry deserts. The clean white snows of the mountaintops.... All the best.... And then one species from each planet that came before made it complete. At least, that's what it looked like when it was first created. Now it was more like a wasteland. "The humans have weathered my Earth... I must fix it up some......."
Scanning ahead to the near future, her staff jewel went blank and dark.... "What?! What is going ON down there?!" Calling for her sister, Lucis tried to make sense of it.... Her and her sister decided that one of them would have to go down there to sort things out, and Lucis went, assuming her long-unneeded guise of an exchange student from America going to high school in Japan as Veronica DiLuciete, a medium-height brunette with a bright personality.

Hotaru sat up and stretched languidly. She had no idea what she would do for the day, maybe she would give Chibi-usa a phone call and ask what she was up to. If not, then she could have a full day of homework to look forward to.
She stepped out of bed and onto the floor where she walked to the other side of her bedroom and ran the brush that had been sitting in a cup on her desk to keep things organized, through her short inky black hair. She grabbed some clothes for herself, as long as she didn't know what she would be doing for the day, she could take a shower and get dressed so that she could be ready for anything.

Waking from her dream and opening her eyes to the streaming sunlight of Earth slanting through her window, Lucis sat up and stretched, then realized that it was already well past dawn. "Well. That's the latest I've slept in a few hundred years...." She sighed and rolled fully out of the bed, thumping off the bed to the ground loud enough to cause a thump to echo through the room. She got up to lazily into her fully stocked master bathroom. The whole house was light, airy, and big enough for two families to live in comfortably. She had bought said mansion just yesterday with some of her money that she had kept in reserve in her temple. After splashing water on her face to wake up she washed up and walked back to her closet, selecting a random outfit from her closet. Today's outfit happened to be a purple skirt with a lavender top and indigo platform heels. Walking out of her house finally, Lucis began walking down to the nearest park that just so happened to have a small creek in the back behind the fence. Reaching the fence, she glanced around to make sure no one was looking, then put on hand up to the top of the fence and flipped up and over the chain-link fence.
