Physical Description: Even at his young fifteen turns, Gawyn already stands at a towering 5'11'', a height which is always increasing. He looks as if he's grown at a rate quicker than his body can keep up with, leaving him skinny and gawky. Perhaps one day he will fill out, but for a few more turns he will remain resembling a stick more-so than a boy.
His hair is a mid-brown colour, and is worn at ear length, when it will lay flat at all. It constantly looks wind-tussled and wild. Gawyn has clear blue eyes.
His other features are otherwise plain. He is no great looker, no does he fancy himself so.
Personality: Thanks to the recent addition of hormones Gawyn is a terrible flirt. Really, the only thing he likes more than food is women. He's out-going and gregarious, but sometimes doesn't know when to stop.
He's a little short-sighted when it comes to planning and often steps on the feelings of others, especially the girls that he fancies.
Gawyn is not one to ever be depressed or pessimistic. He takes life very lightly.
History: Born of the union of a green rider and brown rider, he's spent his whole life in Ista Weyr, believing that he will, one day, Impress. He's not given much thought or concern to having been overlooked at past Hatchings, he just believes that his dragon hasn't been born yet.
Like most Weyrbrats, he was raised in a communal setting, and isn't very close with his mother or father. He does encounter them from time to time, but is now mostly independent of them.
