"Sooooooonnniiiikkkuuuuuuuu"
Amy whined mostly to herself on this glorious afternoon, walking through the vast meadows of this strange new land. It had been roughly a week since the boat had reached mainland and she watched her Sonic dash off into the horizon while she continued to re-live the contents of her stomach off the port. How was she to know she'd be seasick? While she and Sonic could have been having the ultimate romantic cruise...he locked himself below deck and she on the top deck.
Life was cruel.
Yet that was all to change! Now stranded on this new land like fated lovers, she'd finally win his heart and they'd live happily ever after like it was always meant to be! Here he wasn't obligated to be the hero of the city, or have all his friends to occupy his time. It would be just he and her...and with a heavenly sigh she continued on, determined more than ever to find her blue blurr!
What was this?
Lifting her nose to the air, the hedgesoq sifted through the many scents lingering on the spring breeze before being able to recognize one of them....Sonic! Was it true? Oh! Her heart leapt in joy and excitement as her pace excellerated towards what she hoped was her personal prince charming. Leaving the open space of the fields and into the thin woodlands, her gallop turned into a slow trot while eyes searched her surroundings desperately.
Please oh please let him be here....
There was an opening ahead from what she could see through her obstructed vision due to the trees, a small lake? It would be a perfect smorgasboard for fresh and tasty food like fresh shoots and berries...could Sonic have already finished his exploring and settled down for the second most important part of living, food? If so, this could possibly be her only chance to catch up to him before he set off again. So with a determined goal before her, she approached the clearing as quietly as possible.
Amy would walk a thousand miles for Sonic, despite the fact she couldn't catch up to him ever while he was on the run!

He hiccuped, smears of what probably once resembled berries along his snout. While he failed to find the love of his life, a few chili dogs, he reluctantly gave way to the calling of food with what he could currently find. Fresh shoots, berries, and other small treats were found as he skidded there for a small rest. Aside from the fact that he almost had skidded into a tree, he seemed content for the moment. Rolling in the soft, fresh grass, his tail flicked to and fro.
"Not entirely city food, but .. not bad! Just could use a little seasoning I suppose."
The new land was.. well.. still new to him, and he hadn't really met anyone. He was still determined to enjoy his little vacation, and his current escape from Amy. Amy, his mind wandered to her even now.
"If she could see me fat and bloated from these berries, I bet she'd have a field day .. "
He sighed, rolling again, trying to come back onto his feet.
"In fact, I would sadly be helpless. Good thing she isn't here."
He yawned, his body warm from the sunlight shining down on him. It was a fine time to slack off, and engage in an intense nap. Eyes closing, he lay still. Sadly unaware of any predator that might be nearby.

The clearing came closer and closer as the mare crept on, ever watchful, ever alert since she knew that the blue blurr could set off like the wind at a moments notice. The bushes were in reach as she snuck her head through the branches to overlook the peaceful lake, bushes ripe in berries and shoots as green as a lime! How beautiful...but it looked like Sonic was no where in sight.
With a heavy sigh, the mare was about to turn and continue her quest when a shot of brilliant blue caught the corner of her eye. Amy's heart skipped a beat in her chest as it was true....there on the grass basking in the warm weather was her beloved Sonikku!
Alright Amy....lets do this right...calmly, with grace and sophistication approach him...make him realize he missed you! She tried to reason with herself...
"SOOONIIIKUUUUU!!!" She bellowed, leaping from the bushes like a bat out of hell as she zoomed over and pretty well tackled the poor blue hedgesoq.
...to little avail, obviously.
"OH Sonic! I thought I would never see you again!! Why have you come all the way over here? Do you think Evil has moved all the way out here in no where land?" She looked around, before an idea popped in her head and a coy smile drew on her lips.
"On the other hand...its might Romantic out here....don't you think?"

Snoring peacefully, and with dreams of golden rings within his reach, he reluctantly entered the living world with a sudden jolt. His front legs reached out, attempting to find whatever footing he could find to no avail. He was limp, like a sloth. It felt as if a heavy stone was holding him down. He quickly looked around sleepily, trying to figure out why he suddenly felt fear.
As he pondered what sort of bomb just went off, given his rather unruly awakening, he also began to wonder why the heck just a few berries could stop him that fast. He turned, his eyes growing wide.. his body instinctively trying to inch further away from the pink mare that was obviously talking to him.
There was no way out, even if a dozen scenarios flew through his brain. Each one a different means of escape, each one thwarted by the fact he felt numb by whatever grade A tackle she had given him in his coma. He lay limp, trying to find the means to speak. He knew he had to stay calm. Yes, he could smooth talk his way out of this with his cool attitude and quick head. Opening his mouth slowly, he just.. stared at her.
".. A.. A.. AMY?! .. Wha.. what are you doing here!"
He blurted out, flailing rather wildly.
"I .. um. .. yes! Evil has come to this small, peaceful land. It's too dangerous, go home!"
As he flailed even more, he tried to push her off, only to freak out once more at the talk of romance.
"Dangerous, and full of anti-romantic buzzbots. Seriously, um.. don't you have shopping to go do?"

"Silly..." She chuckled, eyes dancing with her usual fevered excitement whenever it came to one Sonic the Hedgehog. Even with a bloated midsection filled with lords knew what he decided to eat here, he was still as desirable to her; as weird as it seemed; Amy wasn't a shallow mare by any stretch of the imagination. She adored him not for his athletics, but his heart of gold. The way he would go out of his way constantly to do what was right, and being saved a few times didn't hurt his image in her mind any. "I came here since you did. What kind of person would I be to let you go on this harrowing journey alone! A bad one, that's what. If anything ever happened to you and I wasn't there i'd just.... " No. She wouldn't say that bad word either. Her mood was much too elated now that she'd found him to be dampened by the word die.
Okay...maybe hunting him down was for way more selfish things...shallow no - selfish yes. She'd miss him unholy amounts and so unable to bare the thought of being without she came with. They'd been through so much, and though Amy felt no closer to her goal than before she wouldn't give up. She'd made up her mind some time ago to pursue him, and Amy wasn't one to give up without a fight. Curse her optimistic nature...
"And I know those are so not a thing." Amy couldn't help the grin which stretched her lips, now at least a stride away from the stallion on the ground.
Although...speaking of evil. She had seen a rather scary looking individual not too far from there, but in her search for Sonic she wouldn't allow anything to hinder her quest. She wondered if he truly came here to fight more evil or if there was something else...or maybe someone else? No! No...that clearly couldn't be the case. Although she'd heard he had a bit of a reputation from his older friends that he had been something of a tail chaser...she'd never seen him chase a mare before.
"Why would you want to come to a place like this all by yourself?" Amy asked, curiously as her eyes glanced around. It seemed like it was pretty barren, almost tribal in comparison to their homelands. Was he really wanting to rough it? "Its so....wild. For once I feel so out of place; people were looking at me as if I was...well, different. No one has clothes!" She exclaimed, giving him a pointed look. "I asked about it and I guess there are traders way up in some desert but other than that nothing!"
It was truly depraved of any kind of comforts...however it was beautiful in its untouched grandeur.

Sonic let out a sigh. She wasn't going to go away. He KNEW that his panicked distractions never worked, but that never stopped him from trying. She was stubborn, just like he was. "Right, harrowing journey." He rolled over, trying to hide from the shame of the berries. "And who says they don't exist? Who knows what we'll find out here." While he was the type to relax any chance he could find, admittedly this was the first time in ages he had any time to himself. Time to just relax.. This place was a new adventure for him, and he wasn't really used to not having at least one friend around to share it with. Still. It was Amy. Still, while he refused to admit it, maybe taking Amy along wasn't as bad of an idea as he made it out to be. Not that she didn't follow him when he said not to, no. It was clearly his idea now. "Huh? You and your clothes. You know those things just slow you down, all you really need is a good pair of horseshoes!" He side eyed the question, not really sure what to tell her. What could he tell her? That he was itching to find something new? That he was bored? That he was willing to leave everything he ever knew just to find a sense of purpose? How could she possibly relate to that. She was just.. just a girl! She wouldn't understand, would she? "Yea, it's wild. It's exciting. You know, I hear there are horses out here that look like us.. but eat flesh." He looked at her sternly. "And I hear there is great pools of water that house finned creatures like us. Nothing like that back home. Not that.. that I would go near the water in the first place." Water. Seriously, water could shove it. He never had good experiences with deep water. He shivered at that thought, before slowly forcing himself to stand up. She wasn't going to leave, so maybe they should take a look around. "What do you say we go find something exciting? I bet we do find a buzzbot out here." Tirokio Phhhbt, Sorry this took so long. Finding the muse for an rp 6 years old is fun, but terrifying. XD;

"I am worried about what we're going to find out here Sonic. Its so...wild." Amy found herself frowning, usually not one for being a debbie downer but there was an air of civilization where they hailed from, here....well who would have imagined this kind of cannibalism running ahoof? She supposed it was nature's way but still...had they not evolved the sense not to go around mindlessly chomping into others yet? She let out a sigh, she knew Sonic...she knew him well. His lust for all that was new, exciting and fun often lead him into dangerous territory...but this...
...well this took the cake. Especially without anyone else to help him out.
What if she hadn't come!? What if he never came back and she was left wondering where he went or of he was still even alive??
"Those are what i'm afraid of. Its not like back home where we're facing some nincompoop of a villain here, sonic. These evils could kill you....kill us!" Oh, no. She hadn't even brought her weapon! Amy! What were you thinking! She scolded herself in her mind, jaw tensing as she felt a little bare without anything to protect herself but her own four hooves....but sonic was here too.....
Worried eyes turned back to him, unable to hold her irritability towards him as she let out her breath once more and offered a small smile. "No....this is definitely not like home." She stated, looking around once more as he stood up. "It...would be kind of fun to see what is out there, but so long as we find a safe place for the night! You know what they say that the creepy things come out of the shadows..." Shadow...huh. That was a name she hadn't thought of in a while. She shook it off. "I bet you we don't." She shot back a bit cheekily, looking ahead to see a forest grove. "I am kind of thirsty from all that searching, lets go find a drink!"
Well, here she went again, once more following the blue blur into another whirlwind adventure...she could feel it down into her horseshoes. Gracie Loff I'm baaaccckkk 8D Expect more regular posts from me now. <3 haha!

"Yea, yea, wild. You know, I started out in a village in the forest... this isn't so bad." He watched her. He could tell she was being a worrywart again. And ok, fine. She might have a reason to be. But he didn't make her leave everything behind to chase him out here, she did that on her own. This could NOT be his fault. Nope. Not his at all. "Villains back home could kill us, these just... are different, you know?" He laughed, clearly not getting it. Danger was danger to him, and it didn't really phase him much. "If people need help, shouldn't we do what we can to help them, like usual? We're the heroes, ...remember? Amy?" He saw her smile, and tilted his head. He knew something was wrong. She really.. was scared?" He flicked his tail, thinking. "Yea, yea. We'll find somewhere safe for the night. It would be best to start exploring in the morning, not when we can't see what's in front of us. Sure I can take a baddie, but it's much harder when you can't see them." He walked with her, deciding a drink of water might not be such a bad thing. He could wash the berries of shame away. But as they walked further, he sighed a bit. Yea, she had the right to be worried, and scared, and skeptical. "You know Amy... just why DID you follow me out here, instead of waiting for me to return anyways? You know I'd have come back, right?" Tirokio Sorry this took so long. Ilu. ;___;

"Yeah...but that was back home Sonic. We're so far from that." The things she had heard anyways made it seem so much more different. Or was it merely the fact they were in completely uncharted lands to them and their friends that it was suddenly more real? Yes, he was right. Dangers ran rampant back where they were from but it seemed almost...normal, the severity of it had dulled after the umpteenth time that week they faced off against someone wanting to stop them from doing good in the world. It became...well, life, really. She blinked as they walked, dawning on her the feeling he spoke of that he wanted new adventure.
Nothing was really exciting there anymore, nothing to get the blood pumping.
"I...understand." Amy said hesitantly, glancing his way. "We're the heroes but you forgot the rest of us when you went running off. I didn't have time to tell anyone..." Which was unlike her, her friends were her life...well, that and getting new things. She was quite the collector. "I understand your lust to help others...its what makes you well - you sonic. I just wish sometimes you'd consider your friend's feelings first." Well, okay. Mostly her feelings... although Tails would be mighty upset too. "I would like that. Gather some supplies....I didn't bring anything in my haste, not even something to eat for the upcoming travels." She sighed, but then looked to his mug stained in berries. "At least you have that covered for a few hours..." She teased, a chuckle coming from her lips as she looked ahead.
One thing she wasn't expecting though was the rather up front and bold question sonic asked of her, sputtering as she turned her blush dusted cheeks away a bit under the guise of looking for water. Even if she was sure she would smell or hear it before she could see it. "I-I I told you....I would be a horrible friend if I let you go alone." An excuse, distraction. "I know..." He'd told her once before, in fact, but what she never had the heart to tell him was how bored, miserable and heartbroken she had been while he was gone. Sure, life was simpler when the blue blur was not dragging their ragtag group on some wild adventure; but now she'd become hooked on the rush...kind of.
She was truly just hooked on him. She'd told him she liked him more times than she could count...that they were meant to be together and she'd follow him anywhere. Yet....she had never let him hear how much she truly did love him, and in the seriousness she felt in her heart when he looked at her with worry. No...that secret remained within Amy in silence...it was easier when he just thought she was being clingy and annoying like some lovesick fan girl. She looked ahead, praying a stream was close by before the topic got any deeper...least she revealed that she followed him out here because she was so hopelessly in love with him.
"B-besides; Throughout history, behind every great hero, there's a great mare guiding him right!?" She gave a nervous laugh, head held high as she trotted a bit ahead of him just so he wouldn't see her face.
