Series based (loosely) on one of my favorite book series. Legend of the Seeker follows (again, loosely) the story Richard Cypher, the Seeker of Truth.
The books series is The Sword of Truth, beginning with Wizard's First Rule.
If you haven't heard of them, check 'em out! They're worth the read. Eleven books in all, plus one prequel: Debt of Bones. Not the greatest and fairly short, but does give a bit more flesh to an interesting character in the series.
Anyways...My beef with the show is how WRONG it is. There are many obvious (and some less than obvious) inaccuracies, but it's a decent show to watch.
Hit me back and we can talk about books or TV series! pirate

I only knew it from starting watching on Hulu. Then Sarishann told me it was one of her favorite book series, which they butchered hilariously at least as far as the first two episodes are concerned.
I thought is was decent, though since I started watching it, it's bound to be cancelled. I got to about ep. 5 and may finish sometime soon.

Yeah, those first two had me crying in fury and then laughing with how retarded the actors looked. I haven't watched any of them for a while, but I probably will, it's always fun to see (some) of your favorite characters fleshed out, even if they don't look or act anything like the ones they're based on, lol.
