I am making a couple of dolls myself and am now waiting on the mold material and resin that I ordered on-line . Saddley it will take a while because they are considered dangerous chemicals and have to be shipped specialy. I am quite excited and doing some research on how I can do this a little quicker and cheaper. I am waiting anxiously for my sillicone and resin.

I have gotten the materials and will be molding and casting this week.

So I got the materials , and tried , and it didnt go so well. But I know the problems and will be continueing to fix them when i recieve new materials.

I have now recieved my new materials , aqnd will be working on casting them this week and next.

Update , So I recieved the original set of materials only to try and cast and fail miserably. The mold material was not capable of picking up all of the fine details of the doll. Also saddley it ruinded the original sculpt. So now I have made a new sculp , ordered new material and am currently putting on all my last touches and working on testing all elements in volved for compatibility. Next week , I will have a doll. Its doll or die for me now.

It failed miserably. I am now back uo on the game with anew set of ideas and am going to try making one out of polyclay. It will be big 145cm. So the clay is being reinforeced by steel wire mesh. Its going well so far and the upper torso is almost done , I am now going to fire it and begin on the center peice.

Wow, that must be a lot of work. 0_0 You should post in progress pictures, though. I can't imagine a doll amazingly that big. 3nodding
