The map for the roleplay. I don't want to ruin the sub-plot for everyone but the basic features I'll add are:
1.Town list including:
-Unemployment rate
-Local Guilds (skill training halls with rulers that can issue quests)
-Population (influenced by wars, disease, and other cities trade routes failing)
-Agricultural qualities (Farming goods, or if it's a large city dependent on other cities, in other words a capital or a warring city.)
-Major Inports and Exports
-Factional dominance (if another nation is attacking it will fall, or small guilds with large respect may take chunks of dominance in that city.)
2. Player Factions, these will be tricky balancing how you get members of factions whether that be quests, recruitment (turn-based 'job'), or random people deciding to join. I could also make a balance of them.
3. Faster Transportation... instead of going somewhere by foot... why not use a horse or a flying creature... why not a teleport spell?
4. War camps on the map and siege points (War camps for warring nations making progress towards a city if it goes into a skirmish it gets a thread to roleplay in) Sieges are self explanatory...
5. Startups (NPC's) trying to make some coin and take a city.
6. Character list for every army (only officers Sergeant +)
7. Ranking of soldiers to clarify roleplaying.
-1 King/Queen/Baron/Duke/Warlord/Overlord/The man (lol)
-2 General(s) (1-5 for a max army) (multiply next one by number of generals and so on)
-3 Asst. General(s) (2 for a max army)
-4 Major(s) (4 for a max army)
-5 Asst. Major/Sergeant (8 for a max army)
-6 Private (unranked unnamed) (160 for a max army)
8. Main plot...
Overall I think it would be fun if we got some people in here.
