Pacing, he had been there since mid morning, the snow pae chewed his lip nervously. He was pretty sure the guy he was waiting for was gonna show up soon, but he was still nervous. Especially after spending so much time fawning over Haru, anyone would be nervous like that. So he thought. Shaking his head he sat down, settling to wait for the male he had never seen before.

Texas was confused. He would usually go to the beach on his own at some point, but Criofan and Magnus seemed incredibly pushy about getting him to go today. While the demonic worried they might have had something in mind, he soon figured that perhaps they just wanted time away from him. It certainly sounded like something those two would request to get rid of him...

"Are ya' going yet?" Criofan asked, with a catty grin. "If ya' don't, Ah might just have ta' throw ya' out."

Texas quirked a brow. "Really?"

Aysu nodded, strolling over with a grin. Texas had to wonder when she got involved with this. "Mmhm. I might have to go outside and try to pull you out of my bag, too." The naiad put her finger in the center of his back and pushed him towards the door.

Grace gone, Texas flailed and nearly fell over in the process. He just barely managed to press his hands against the wall to stop himself from falling to the ground. "Fine, I'm going!" exclaimed Texas, rolling his eyes. "You guys are acting incredibly strange..." And, with that said, Texas strolled out the door and onto the beach.

Now just to figure out why he was there. It seemed everyone knew but him. Maybe they did just want to be rid of him, but it was weird that Aysu was in on it. Scrunching his nose, Texas strolled in any direction, not realizing he was heading towards the intended destination. He didn't know there was an intended destination!

The demonic stopped dead and blinked. Why was there a snowy Pae'il on the beach? That was an odd sight.

Yukio's ear flicked, hearing the soft approach of the other. Used to his brother's treatment he tensed into a defensive stance. "Hello?" the snowy angel asked, standing straight, though still slightly tensed. "Are you Texas?" This question came with a smile, which grew larger as he walked closer to the demonic in front of him.

Without waiting for an answer Yukio held his hand out to the other, "It's nice to meet you finally." He didn't know or realize that he hadn't actually spoken to the real Texas, though if he had realized it, he was beginning to doubt how much he'd have said no.

Was he Texas? Well, he thought he was. Everyone was acting so strange that the demonic had to wonder. But before he could ponder why someone would even ask that, he realized that someone asked that. Why was someone concerned about what his name was? The demonic knit his brows pensively when the snowy Pae'il suddenly offered his hand for him to shake.

What was going on here? "Nice to meet you too," offered Texas, cautiously, shaking the angel's hand. Who was this kid, and why was he on a beach looking for him? Didn't most of the snowy Pae'il--usually born around the December holiday, he noted--live up in the mountains or something? Texas tried not to show how utterly baffled his was and instead forced himself to offer a polite smile. He would get to the bottom of this somehow.

He pondered for a moment, it seemed like Texas had no idea why he was here or who he was.

"Sorry, my wording was off. It's nice to see you for the first time." Yukio was still smiling. Though he was confused, he believed that he should do his hardest to be happy with someone other than the elusive Haru.

Bowing to show respect, the snowy pae looked up at the demonic through his hair. "You don't remember why you're here at all do you?"

Did he step into a portal to an alternate reality? Texas had previously been pretty sure that such things did not exist, but Texas was beginning to second guess reality. Clearly, he was dreaming. He was supposed to be there? What was this snowy Pae'il bowning for? ...Maybe he should go with the flow to get his answers. That had always worked before, and there was no reason to start panicking now just because nothing seemed to mesh correctly.

"Err, no." The demonic offered an apologetic smile. "I just know that my brothers and my sister were rather pushy in their need to get me to go away today. I thought it was a little weird, but I figured they just wanted to get rid of me." ...Wait a minute. Perhaps they had wanted to get rid of him for some reason.

Unfortunately, Texas didn't think the answer was just because they wanted time away from the summer-loving demon.

He released a soft sigh, standing up straight.

"My name is Yukio. You asked me here for a date from the personals." The angelic gave him a soft smile. "You wanted this beach this time, this spot, so I showed up in hopes of meeting you."

Yukio gently brushed his fingers along the other's cheek. "Perhaps they knew about our date and wanted to make sure you made it?" He suggested, pulling his hand back.
PostPosted: Thu Mar 19, 2009 7:06 pm

He had a date today? But he had never even gone to the Personals! Well, except to help Criofan put up that ad he was hardly using a couple months ago. ...Oh guardians. Did Criofan really do what the demonic thought he did?

Texas blushed brightly upon feeling the other's fingers upon his cheek, but blushed even brighter when he realized just what was going on. "Oh no," mumbled the demonic, looking embarrassed and horrified all at the same time. "I've never really gone to the Personals, except to help my brother put up an ad. However, my younger brothers have. Criofan and Magnus were going there often; I was wondering what the mischievous faeries were doing..."

Oh Guardians. Now what was he going to do? This boy came here expecting a date or something...

It only took him a moment to realize what was going on, and it showed on his face. Pulling his hand back twisting both of them behind his back now, Yukio took a step back from the other.

"I see. It wasn't actually you.." He knew someone interested in him was too good to be true. "Doesn't mean we can't hang out for a while anyways does it?" The snowman chested pae offered. If nothing else it at least got them both out of their homes for a while.

Texas thought briefly about getting back at his brothers, until he remembered that would never work. Criofan could outwit him without trying very hard, and Magnus would probably find reason to stay around Texas at all times if he got any wind of possible revenge. Wait, stop Texas. Revenge made the world go blind. The demonic quietly reminded himself of that before looking to the obviously saddened snowy Pae'il.

The demonic made some awkward sound that sounded a bit like, "Mrr," before shrugging. "I suppose so." This guy came here for a date, not chilling out on the beach. Texas was pretty sure no sane snow Pae'il would come to the beach just to hang out. There had to be something he could do to fix this mess...

He wasn't one of the sane pae. No, he was far from sane, or even mentally stable if one thought about it. In any case he was perfectly content to sit on the beach while it was still cool.

"You don't have to stay if you don't want to." Yukio smiled, not wanting to make the other stay if he really didn't want to. "It's still cold enough I can make it back to the mountain during the day." The snowy pae commented, if Texas didn't want to stay he had full intentions of going back before it started to warm up.
PostPosted: Thu Mar 19, 2009 10:30 pm

Well, since it was already the middle of the day, it couldn't get much warmer out. Still, Texas really didn't want a snowy Pae'il wandering around when it was starting to get sunnier and warmer. He didn't want him to overheat. "No, I'll stick around." While he tried to rationalize it with not wanting the poor boy to overheat, he really just felt bad about being such a disappointment.

"So, your name's Yukio, right?" Texas sat down against a palm tree and patted a spot nearby for the angelic Pae'il to sit. He wasn't sure what they would talk about, but it was the least he could do for indirectly causing this Yukio so much trouble. Criofan and Magnus would get a stern glare, at the least.

Yukio flashed a small smile, sitting next to Texas when the seat was offered. "Thanks." No words could express the gratefulness he was feeling. Though it wasn't because Texas felt pity for him coming down for nothing. He got away from his brother's torture for the moment.

"Yukio, slave, moron.. I'll answer to anything these days." He chuckled, smiling still. "How many siblings do you have?" The angelic questioned. No harm in getting to know another was there?
PostPosted: Fri Mar 20, 2009 10:23 am

"Slave?" Texas quirked a brow in bewilderment and atonishment. That was an incredibly strange nickname. It was an odd enough remark to make him ignore the next comment. "That's very strange. Why would anyone call you that?" Unless Yukio was in some kind of odd cult--which really didn't seem to fit in any case--the name of 'slave' was more than a bit weird. Why was he being called a slave?

Texas was quick to cover his invasion of what might have been Yukio's personal space. "Of course, if I'm prying, feel free to tell me to stop." Though if this young man wasn't in the greatest of situations, perhaps some kind of Guardian-intervention had brought them together. The guardians seemed to favor him, after all. Why else would they give him a note signed by them?

The instant he heard the word come back, Yukio tensed. He forgot no one else called him that. "Because that's one of the many names my 'brother' has given me." Rubbing his neck, Yukio relaxed a little.

"It's not prying when someone says that. Just concern." The snowy pae smiled, patting Texas' back. "Don't worry about it, it's not a big deal." Of course it wasn't, he was very used to the names and treatment, though it gave him a lot of practice with his snow sculpting.
