 Tanzy sat in a large green field watching the wind blow through the long blade of grass. it was a rather peaceful day were the temperature was just right. she looked over to her older brother Klide who was chasing a butterfly around. even thou Klide was an adult he acted very much like a small pup. everything seemed new to him, and he always seemed to be running after something. tanzy thought back to when she had first found Klide. he was sitting in a tree shouting at the squirels that ran by. there was no doubt in her mind that they were related. everything matched right down to the spiraling dots on her side. she loved her older brother, adn she would do anything to protect him.  Klide dashed around the field enjoying the sun in his dark fur. he had forgotten how he had gotten here, and why was he running? he slowed down and looked around. his sister was watching him. he loved that little pup. or was she a teen? she was rather small, but she was too smart to be a pup, almost to smart to be a teen. what was her name again? a butter fly fluttered past him. he turned and chased after it all previous questions forgotten.

Heliamphora lay curled up under a tree sleeping. She suddenly thought that she heard some others around and opened her eyes lazily. She saw movement over in the field and lifted her head slowly as she yawned and looked over that way. There were two Dragonfly's over there, one who size and the other one an adult. She stretched as she stood up and walked towards them, hoping that they would be nice and let her play. "Ummm hello. Can i play too?" she asked wagging her tail with a smile as she looked them over with a smile.

Tanzy looked over the brightly colored female. she seemed nice enough. this was probobly one of those teens and danced and played without a care in the world. she sneered at the girl. "i am not playing. i am babysitting. if you wish to go play with my brother then you may. his games are hard to follow though, and often pointless."
Klide saw a pink teen neer his sister...nope, still could not seem to grasp her name. the bright colors of the teen made him feel happy, like the butterfly. were did that butterfly go? wait what was he casing again? he shrugged and pranced over to the two girls. he had a big smile on his face and tried hard not to break out into a fit of giggles, for his sister had the strangest look on her face.

Heliamphora smiled. "Baby sitters can play too!" she said with a smile at the girl as she turned to the brother and smiled. "I'm Heliamphora, but you can call me Heli. Want to play?" she asked him with a smile as she pranced about wagging her tail.

Tanzy snorted and turned away. "playing is a thing for children. i for one am no child. but dont let me ruin your fun. just ignore me and i will be just fine." she turned to Klide and smiled. "now go have fun with the nice girl. her colors are pretty. she will keep you occupied a lot longer than i would. tanzy frowned and looked at the ground.
Klide mimiced his sisters frown, but he was not sure what it ment. he turned to the pink girl and frowned. "Heeellli!" the name seemed to take forever to leave his lips, but once it did he jupmed up and squeeled. words did not come to him often, but whenever one did he savored the feeling on his mouth. he turned to Heli and chased after.

Heli looked at the female and frowned. "But you are still young. Your the same age as i am. You can still enjoy being fun and having time to play." she said as Heli frowned and wondered why this adult, her brother, was so...special. But she didn't care. She smiled and ran from him playfully laughing as she bounded through the grass with him chasing her. She looked back at him and smiled as she ran through the grass.

Tany frowned at her brothers speech. how could Klide learn Heli's name so quickly, but not remember his own sisters. she sighed and got up. she might as well go and pretend to play along, if not only for Klide's sake. Tanzy ran over to join the game.
Klide Quickly caught up to the small teen...Heli, and licked her with his tounge. he turned and ran away barking like a mad dog. he was happy to see his sister join the game...but what game were they playing again? he stopped and looked back at heli and his sis. why were they running after him? was he in trouble? he dropped down to his stomach and began to whimper as if to appologize.

Heli smiled softly at him as he lay down. "Oh no silly your ok," she said as she saw a butterfly fly over them. She smiled happily and danced about excited. "Klide quick get the butterfly before it flys away." She said with a smile as she pointed at the butterfly that was fluttering around to the flowers in the clearing they had been playing in as she looked over at Tanzy as she joined in the play.

Tanzy watched as Heli played and talked to Kilde. it sounded like Heli was talking to a pup. klide was no pup. she walked up to Heli and tapped her on te shoulder t get her attention. "excuse me if i sound rude, but my brother is no pup. he is a grown dragonfly that deserves respect. he needs to start acting like an adult and it dosent help if people treat him like a child."
Klide giggled and jumped up after the butterfly. it was so bright and pretty looking. he wondered why the butter fly could fly and he could not. he flapped his wings in the same motion that the butterfly was, while jumping in the air. it almost felt like he was flying. he turned to Heli and smiled. "i...fly?...waatchh." he jumped in the air and flapped his wings as fast as he could. he was in the air for about two seconds before he came back down, just like a regular jump. Klide tried to remember how long he was "flying" but could not. for all he knew he could have been in the air for days.

Heli looked at Klide after Tanzy spoke and frowned. "It doesn't look like he wants to be an adult right now so why treat him like one when hes playing and having fun? And i had to make him feel better cause he thought i was going to hurt him. Play time is good for the body, When hes in a situation where he needs to act like an adult he can then, right?" she asked. She knew it wasn't her place to say what happened with Klide but Tanzy seemed to have grown too much for her age, not that she wasn't older then Tanzy, but she needed to relax. Enjoy her self while she was young, but she didn't think that argument would go well...Well mostly cause Klide did need someone to be an adult all the time. She smiled at the male as he tried to fly and laughed. "Very good!! Just like the butterfly!" she said with a large smile.

Klide giggled and dashed away after the butterfly. he was attracted to its colors. he followed its darting movements while flapping his wings. he stopped and looked behind him. why was he running? why were his wings flapping? he shrugged and ran back to the two little teens and sat by the dark colored one. he shook his head and moved over to the pink one. this felt better, much more colorful.
Tanzy sighed, how could she get heli to understand. why was she even trying to explain it to her? "you see, thats the problem. he never acts like an adult. he is always running and chasing after things. one day he is going to get himself hurt. heaven forbid he ever tries to chase down an elder." she frowned and looked down at her paws. talking about her brothers condition always made her moody, almost sad. "the worst part is his memory. he has a hard time remembering things. his memory lasts for about a minuet tops. all he knows is his name, and colors. this is why he never talks. he cant remember the words i speak to him." Tanzy sniffled and looked over at klide. did he even understand what they were saying?

"So why cant i act like a child with him? If all he knows how to act like this then why is it bad for me to act the same way? Its how i act so why is it bad. Wouldn't he be confused by you treating him like an adult." She said as she looked at him as he sat near her. He was cute, like a little pup that just wanted to please you. "Just let him be him self. I'll help you watch him so you don't have to be doing it alone." she said with a smile as she looked back at Tanzy. "If you want." she said softly as she nuzzled Klide's shoulder with a smile.

Tanzy thought about Heli's offer. it was nice of her to offer up her time, but Tanzy was unsure if she would be able to share Klide. Klide was her only connection to the sane world. Klide made her happy, and if was hard for her to do her normal activities, killing and tormenting small animals, with Klide standing next to her. she had tried once and Klide grabbed the dead fish and cried over it for two days. Tanzy looked over at Heli and sighed. "i guess you can help. maybe i will get more done now, like actually be able to hunt for once with Klide crying over every kill." she smiled at Heli and nodded.
Klide watched his sister. he could tell something big was happening, but he did not know what. he whimpered and wagged his tail. he hated when she ignored him like this. he looked around and saw Heli next to him. he leaned over and licked he shoulder. if his sister would not pay attention to him, then maybe this other one would.

Heli smiled at Tanzy and wagged her tail. "Just let me know when you want me to keep him busy. I live really close to this field." she said with a smile as she snuggled Klide back as he licked her. "Would you like to pick some flowers and look at some bugs? I can name them all for you and put the flowers in your pretty fur!" She said happily to him as she licked his shoulder back.

Tanzy nodded at heli. "alright ill find you if we ever need any help..." she stopped and looked down at her growling stomach. "are you hungery at all? if you watched klide for me i could go get us some food." tanzy did not like the idea of having some stranger alone with her brother, but she could not help it this time. it was just too much work to watch klide and hunt at the same time.
Klide wiggled with joy and ran over to a patch of flowers. there were some really bright colors ones that smelled good. he whined and pointed to a big blue one while looking at Heli. he sat down and smiled at the flower. "helllo...heli?" he waited for a minute and then frowned when the flower did not respond.
