Yes, this game is CRAZY! You MUST give the person above you gold or items. (Gaian Gold or Gaian Items...)
Sure, you could give "imaginary" items, but what's the fun in that? Let's all give each other items! It'll be fun!
(Yes, this is a game. Yes, we're giving away real Gaian items and gold. That's the fun in it! You give something; you get something!)
It helps if you post before starting the trade. =)
