 The dark eevee flicked her red eyes close, awaiting for her first opponent. Had long had it been? Awhile... But Deej stood there with confidence, a stern glare imprinted as her expression. She had an awkward build as an eevee; her longer legs than the usual eevee looked slightly stout due to the muscle beginning to build there after practicing for awhile. Yet she had never battled to test and see if it proved to be affective. Yet. She would change that today. She opened her red eyes, a fiery passion burning fiercely. "Anyone wanna battle? I'm still a novice, but I show promise.. If I don't beat you next time, I assure you I will next time.." She held back a cocky grin.

 Kazoo had never battled. She was curious to see how she could do. "I'm willing to try," she said nervously. She noticed that the eevee had been waiting a while.

Deej flicked an ear back. "Finally, somone brave enough to go against meee~" She smirked. "I'm Deej, and who are you?"

"It's nice to meet you Deej. I'm Kazoo. You can call be Kaz," Kazoo said enthusiastically. "I'm guessing you're experienced." She was very shaky with excitement and a bit of fear.

"Ehh... Not so much." Deej's red eyes flickered with amusement. "But we might as well start the battle. Her body moved with ease, speeding towards Kazoo with a quick attack.

The eevee passed up Kazoo without thought; she really was new at this. She shook her head. "Uhh, I'm just warming up."

Kazoo smiled and nodded. She didn't want Deej to be embarrassed, especially because Kaz herself was about to mess up."You're doing great. Now it's my turn!" She began running for Deej.

Deej flinched. Dang that hurt. D: She grunted slight. "You onlu got lucky that time!" her voice echoed as stars formed from no where and headed towards Kazoo.

The swift attack came like a boomerang, "returning" to its owner. Deej managed to move out of the way for majority of the attack, but was grazed by one of the stars. >_<

Kaz had gotten lucky for the start of her first battle but she couldn't get cocky now. She winced at the sight of the swift stars flailing back at Deej. Now was her chance to strike wile the stars distracted Deej. She decided to try her luck with a quick attack.

Kaz's little legs weren't very good at running like lightning but then were still quick enough for the attack to work.
