:: To Brave the Embal'alc ::There is a hovel on the edge of Neo York. It is doorless and windowless, save for a few jagged remnants of glass. The shabby walls are wooden in some places, and splintering mercilessly; where wood is forgone, there is brick, crumbling slowly into ruddy dust. Which came first, wood or brick, is an inconceivable mystery, as is any method of how both materials mesh in this way. It hardly matters now, though; the time in which both deteriorate is the same.
The air without this shanty is stale, and within looks to be much of the same. Of course, there is not much to see. Motes of dust lucky enough to see the sunlight send it back, causing quick, bright flashes as they drift through the Cimmerian gloom. Whose unlucky dwelling is this? ...Surely, no one would be mad enough to live here.
A step over the rotten threshold gives a shock, once, twice. The inside is at once different and just the same as thought. It is indeed gloomy: the single room in which you stand is unfurnished, all save for a rickety card table; and the floor is coated with a layer of that same loess which dances about. But the air... The air is not stale, not in the least. It is rich, quickening, and sparks within the sinuses a heady and unknown sensation.  *And at once, at this marvel, upon said old table there is a book. Had it been there all the time? It is leather-bound, and banded - a simple enough affair. And yet, as the catch is undone...

Unexpected for one of such clownish coloring, Trump is rarely in good humor. Most of this is due to the complete contempt with which he regards those around them, seeing all others as foolish and weak-willed in comparison to himself. Very little can shatter this worldview, although Trump is impressed by extraordinary displays of chaos and mayhem - he can often be found in the center of such tumult. Not that his respect is anything to yearn for, that is. Any who earn it will gain nothing but snide words and biting sarcasm in place of his usual grump.
The other side of Trump's irritation often comes from a place closer to home than the world as large. The two serpents, Zu(left) and Dua(right), are bound to remain with Trump and share his consciousness for, they say, "as long as he shall live." Trump has never been too pleased with this arrangement... but having borne the temperamental sisters since their collective youth, he cannot complain.
Trump has been seen wielding four narrow, leaf-shaped blades of broadsword length. The thin edges of these blades are made for slicing fine and deep, and making dangerous thrusts. His slashes and lunges with these blades are fearsome to face.

This girl has been with Trump since her egg stage. He has molded her from birth, yet she does not look to him as her father. She is what he has named her: his steadfast and doting minion. She is duty-driven, doing the jobs her master assigns her without question. Hard teaching as she grew has conditioned her against even speaking in his presence, much less speaking out; in adulthood, she rarely speaks at all. Despite Trump's harshness, Minion does claim friends in Zu and Dua, who show her an affection rare to them.
Feral by nature, Minion is not known to wield any weaponry. She is incredibly agile, at times leaping upon enemies or prey and scorning them with her claws. However, she is more likely to merely run her opponents down and deal them perilous blows with her metal-hulled beak.

Though cuddly and rather mischievous in his youth, now Aruken is more likely to politely decline an embrace. He grew up at Minion's side, the two becoming the best of friends; seeing what she has grown into has shown him all too clearly the way that Kimera can change. As such, he avoids them on the whole, spending his time wandering afoot and skulking across the outskirts of the earth. Only a Kimera in danger is enough to pull Aruken into the world of his peers - knowing of the many that his former friend has hurt and even slain makes it impossible for him not to help. He is one that will defend anyone against Kimera like her, in the hopes that by doing so he will come beak-to-beak to her one day. If that day ever comes, the griffin has no idea what it might hold.
Aruken's claws are poor for holding weapons, but they are weapons themselves. Combined with his beak, his talons are deadly. Rarely, Aruken will employ the stinger that tips his tail to inflict a nasty wound and even nastier venom to his foes.
