Wow, this subforum's kinda dead. So anyway, if any of you are still reading this, have any of you read His Dark Materials series by Philip Pullman? Some of you might recognize the first book, The Golden Compass since it came out as a movie a year ago (it did not do the book justice stressed )

Well... I tried reading the Golden Compass but got bored somewhere in the middle... redrox123 was like, addicted to it, i swear! Then again, she also is crazy about reading the Twilight series(... you know.... vampires?) and the Warriors series... Man, she loves a lot of books.
