 Rahvu yawned as he looked around. Stretched out along a rock, he was resting his paws, so was the rest of the family. He didn't exactly felt like running around and playing with his siblings. One of his brothers was picking on him earlier for tripping over a rock. And now because of it he was feeling a little grumpy.
They were traveling to a new land and he was a little nervous. He wasn't that sure of what to think, the idea of moving being surrounded by many others. He was still little and the idea was just a little overwhelming to him.
The little cub yawned stretching out a pout on his face before he retracted his limps, pulling them closer to his body once more. He let out a small yawn before he stood up. He sighed softly and looked around wondering where his mother was. She normally cheered him up when he was upset. But the fact that he was feeling drowsy did not help him find her as he looked around. "Mama?" He called out for a moment before letting out a quiet chuff

Layilme had been resting just a little distance away, in the shade of a small tree - when she heard one of her sons calling her. Smiling faintly, she raised her head and called, "Over here, Rahvu..."
She truly loved all of her children and was even happier that this litter was not going anywhere. Having already lost two cubs to various incidents before, she was determined to keep up with all of these. At times, this could make her just a bit overprotective, but her mate was always there to balance her out.

The little cub almost jumped at his mothers voice but soon he was purring a smile grew on his lips then he was soon and quickly trotting toward the female that was his mother. "Mama." He said as he walked up to her, bumping his forehead against hers. None of his other siblings were around and he was glad that he could get a chance to spend some time with his mother alone.
He flopped down at her side nudging one of her paws and worming under it purring. "Hi mama." He said quietly with a small purr escaping his maw.

Layil smiled at the smaller lion and butted him gently in return, with a purr of his own. "Hello yourself," she replied, ears tilting down toward him.
She wiggled toes at his nudging, settling her paw over his small back. "Did you want to ask me something, or just get some attention?" she asked, teasing lightly with a little lick of his head.

Rahvu looked at Layil with a smile, he smiled as he felt his mother's paw on his back. She turned toward his mother and licked her nose closing his eyes for a moment as his lick. His purr rumbling a little louder.
"I kinda just wanted to spend some time with you." He wormed around for a moment the shrugged. "They said I was being grumpy." He pouted slightly, they referring to his siblings.

Layil smiled slightly at that and curled a paw about her small son. "Oh really...? Well that's always nice. Sometimes with the way you all bounce about, I wonder if you remember me at all." Her tone was teasing, though, and she purred softly.
"Why would they say you were being grumpy?" she asked then, continuing the conversation.
