Once upon a time, the moon had two great followers. They were sister and brother, whose love for each other was just as great as the love they had for the silver orb in the night sky. This love made the other celestial bodies jealous, and they conspired against the moon steal them away.

The sun promised them endless power that would char anyone that opposed them. The stars spoke of riches that numbered and gleamed like the lights above. The sky would give them life stretched beyond what the eye can see. But the sister and brother were not swayed, for with great love comes greater faith.

Their bribes became threats, and their threats became action. Tired of their persistent refusal, the sun, stars, and sky decided that if they cannot have the siblings, the moon shall not have them either. So they pooled their power into a curse that would compel the two to turn against each other. One shall kill the other, and no longer in the moon's favor, will have guilt, shame, and hate replace the love that was once in their heart.

The moon heard whispers of this plan on the wind, and acted before the sister and brother were lost forever. The moon twisted the murderous urge into insanity, and if they should ever die, they would be reborn in a new form. With each reincarnation came a clean slate, wiped of everything but their love for each other and the moon. The cycle of death and rebirth will continue forever, like the waxing and waning of the moon, until one sibling kills the other.

The moon wished that it could remove the curse in its entirety, but one power against the many others could not prevail. At least this way, the sister and brother can prosper in their love and in the moon for all eternity...

... Or so was it was thought. The many reincarnations has worn the moon's power over the curse thin. Though the brother remains as pure and mooncrazed as it was meant to be, the sister is aware of the spell taking hold of them. She has memories of her past lives, she knows that this madness can only end with the death of one over another. But there is no dark intent in her heart, not yet.

Fearful of the hateful urge that may grip her any moment, she left her brother's side for the first time in centuries. Though she hopes to find the means to end the curse, she is doubtful. Reborn as a pair of foxes with demon wings, the sister can only spout mad ravings of the moon and the brother's personality changes with the moon's shape. It may be impossible to find help with the current state of their insanity, but what the sister doesn't know is that her brother, lost without his sibling's guidance, stumbled into a curious shop of noodles...

Additional Notes: He has dark purple hair that is short and curly. Instead of a collar, he has light gold discs that has the phases of the moon in it, from the full moon in the center and changing as it moves outwards. He has a dark purple sash with another light gold disc, with a crescent in this one.
