I've yet to see it, although I have read up on it quite a lot and am rather sickened by the whole thing. Another part of my childhood shamelessly raped on screen.

It doesn't even have anything to do with the show. It's like a bad cross between Dragonball, Dragonball Z, The Medallion, and Tokyo Drift.

This movie is so totally gonna be AWSM! So AWSM, that after I watch it, I'm going to go cry in a shower, and then proceed to blow my head off with a .44 Magnum...AWSM!

i think they shouldve had asian people playing the characters than white people.
or at least make goku asian!

AZN heroes don't happen in Hollywood. Heroes don't even happen in Hollywood anymore. They're all about the anti-hero and the hero-villain these days. I have a feeling Dragonball is going to fail epically unless they totally lace the film with darker and more mature themes.

The picture they have for the cast just screams low budget. It was shot mostly in abounded factories. But if it doesn't fail. I will love it like a child

rofl Yup, it looks like something from James Wong ("The One"): overblown and overproduced "film" that relies heavily on CG and poor performances from his actors. I can't wait until this makes millions at the box office. gonk

Ever since I seen it come up on IMDB I just knew it was going to fail... You can't do Dragonball live action... It just doesn't sound right, I felt the same way about Speed Racer. Thank gawd that Astro Boy isn't going to be live action. Even though it will most likely suck arsh too.

Ok so I'm a MAJOR Dragon Ball fan, have all original 42 Manga's
they released the first time around.
Also watched all the DBGT series.
SPOILERS ALERT !
The Dragon Ball Movie :
Ok so the movie was a load of bullshit, I knew from the first time I saw
who was playing in it that it would be disappointing, but never in my
life did I imagine them to turn it into teen Hollywood trash as they
have....
Goku lives with his grandfather at the age of 18... goes to school, gets
bullied and fancy's one of the most popular girls in school who we
later find out to be chi-chi (his future wife in the books)
Now that itself are the first 15 min of the movie and the entire storyline
is wrong... Goku never went to school, his grandfather died a long time
ago, killed by Goku himself in rage stage, in this movie his Grandfather gets
killed later on by piccolo... well I can go on forever, to be honest
I was almost in tears watching this movie and the only thing I wanted to
do is ask Akira Toriyama why on earth he ever let them do this, was it
just to get Dragon Ball more known or did he think this to be
a good thing to do ? Did he like the movie ? I can't explain my disappointment enough.
Stay away from it, if you can wait for DVD or watch it online
somewhere I don't care. Seriously bad movie, even if I did not
know what DB was about I'd still think this to be trash.
