Physical Description: Vel is a rather tall, lean young woman with a relatively pretty face and a modest chest. She has shoulder length, dirty blond hair with a natural curl to it and hazel brown eyes. Her skin is a light tan from long hours in the sun, and it's rather obvious she spends a lot of her time in the water. She is generally dressed in two layers, with her swimming clothes on under her everyday clothes. She prefers to wear light dresses as they are easier to take off when it's time for her to get in the water. It is worth noting that there is extensive scarring on her right leg, a result of an accident when she was a child. Because of the injury, she needs to use a cane when she is on land to get around, and walks with a limp.
Personality: Vel is a generally average girl, sweet but not overbearing, able to focus but not obsessive. She is fond of her appearance, but not vain. She generally prefers light places and has a fondness for the open sea that could match any fisherman's. More than anything, she is afraid of enclosed spaces.
History: Velonna was born in Fort Hold to a young couple who had been sweethearts since childhood. She spent most of her early life helping out her parents and swimming at the beach. When she was a still young she got in a rather gruesome accident involving the hold's watch wher that resulted in her right leg being made virtually useless. The healer recommended using water therapy with the dolphins to help with her recovery, and ever since the young girl has loved the creatures. She apprenticed at the Dolphincraft Hall soon after she was healed, and worked her way to Journeywoman rank rather quickly. She was officially stationed in Ista Hold not long after and introduced to Mima, a young female in the local pod. Mima became her official companion not long after they were introduced.
