Reese sat in front of the front door to Saedah's home, waiting for someone to answer. It felt like so long ago that he had seen the girl and talked to her about dragons, and even longer since their phone call where she'd asked him to come over and play. He felt so much older now, his shoulders heavy with entirely too much weight for such a young boy to be dealing with.
He sighed some, forcing a smile on his face to get rid of the dark scowl in his eyes before knocking on the door again. He couldn't let Saedah see him sad...that just wasn't right. She was always so nervous and scared, and Reese had it set in his head that he had to be strong for her.

The door opened and it was Saedah of all people standing there peeking through the crack as if some monster could of been lurking on the other side. She brightened immediately when she saw who it was, and she hurriedly opened the door to allow Reese and his wheelchair inside.
"O..oh Reese! I..t..thought you wou...would o...of been ..l..later." She spoke her voice as sweet if nervous as ever. She did seem genuinely happy that Reese was there though and didnt notice anything out of the ordinary about him as of yet.
"B..but..I ..am g..glad your here!" She continued trying to correct her earlier statment. "Ah.." She looked a bit unsure of what else to say, a blue ribbon was adorned on her head like a headband and she wore a simple but very cute long sleeve shirt that had a cup cake on it.

Reese's smile turned more genuine when he saw Saedah on the other side of the door, wheeling himself forward and into the apartment with ease.
"Thorry for being early, Thae...I, uh..."
His mind searched for a reason to explain the unexpected arrival. He wasn't going to tell her about getting into an argument with Edge about his Legos again. The thought itself made him shift in his chair, pulling down the sleeves of his shirt so they stayed at his wrists.
"You look nithe," he said, changing the subject as he noted the ribbon in her hair. "That'th a really pretty ribbon."

Saedah blushed visible as she went to finger the blue ribbon effectinately, it was one of her most prized possesssions afterall. She slithered back so to allow Reese to come inside with his wheelchair.
She was still blushing as she looked Reese over, she wasn't use to getting compliments like that.. Her father was a rather practical fellow so compliments didn't exactly flow from his mouth often.
"W..well...w..welcome t..to my h..ome." she murmured as she reached over to take Reese's hand. She pointed to where the kitchen was and the dining room and then gently tugged him to follow her so she could show off her bed room.
