So Synchro Monsters in the world of Yu-gi-oh are here to stay, and now they are complemented by Assault mode monsters and the upcomg Anti-synchros.
While partially responsible for the revival of Yugioh interest in North America and Europe over the last year, a LOT of hardcore fans have left the game rather then change thier decks and playing styles to defeat or accomadate them.
Thoughts Yu-gi-oh players?

I think hardcore fans just won't use them. I feel fine without them but do I consider myself a harcore player? No, I never bought individual cards and never gone to a card shop and face someone there. Maybe I'm scare of those monstrous geeks that will kill any deck in one turn who knows

Ahh, but are they really hardcore if they reject such an important part of the game? xp
So yuo don't think the synchros and tuners damage the ballance or strategy of the game?

I think wynchros are for nebies who want to play a simple deck they just bought and still kick a** and for us older player to beat synchros just show how powerful our decks really are.
That why I been dying to face some our brother synchro/buster monster and prove that power comes from the mind not the hand

Why can't it come from both?
I'm not much of a hardcore player, but the synchros have always felt rather cheap to me. I don't have any real reason to back that up, though. XP

Synchro monsters are VERY powerful, but like anything they can be killed by all kinds of magic and trap cards. and I find that they are hard to get out and if you can't get them out the synchro deck falls dead.
But they are good you just need to have a deck with some of good tuners, I have only one deck that is all about synchros and most of my other decks are better then it, but I guess it is all about how you like to play.

I got my first Synchro monster today and using quite a bit, but I'm already falling into the trap of...obsessive synchro summoning

Personally, I think their getting more balanced, either that or people are just cultivating better strategies to deal with them. Assault modes now...

Synchros can now be easiely added to all most any deck, it is the Assault mode ones that you need to build a deck to get them out. really it's hard to get them out
