...going to let a stupid comment ruin your whole devotion for an author? yes, i admit, it does put a damper on anne rice's credibility. but for srs? are you guys that petty? mahgawllygawsh you guys are reminding me more and more of the fantards every day.
who the ******** cares what she said? who the ******** even knows whether or not she was telling the truth? maybe rice is just a money/publicity whore. but once again -- who cares?
this is not somebody like miley cyrus, a supposed 'role model'. when cyrus posts her prostitot pictures, we should care. we don't want our children following in the footsteps of this diva, and thinking everything she does is righteous or normal! but this is anne rice. she's not a disney whore or a political leader.
this woman, and most adult-audience-aimed artists in general, have a sort of built-up immunity to scandal. j.k. rowling, obviously not -- as she is a children's writer. but when you write about faggoty vampire sex, it's clear you're not aiming to LULZ DU ET 4 DAH CHILLUN'!!!11!ONONEONe
so. in conclusion, just think. there's no reason we should start a ******** boycott on her books. what's different about anne's writing now than back then? did her words somehow cast some magical spell that made her writing shittier? no. i highly doubt it.
grow the ******** up.
you guys are better than that.
(this was inspired by one out of many statements by antis saying, and this is a roughly-quoted statement "my favorite authors include so-and-so, but not anne rice! not after what she said!" yes, guys. really mature.)
there's just no excuse.

Like I said on a different topic, lets not blame people for buying into the propaganda just to make a profit. I could care less. As long as Anne Rice doesnt start her own shitty twilight spin off and get under age girls to start going ga ga after f*****t ******** tards that sparkle and say queer s**t like "Your scent is like a drug to me". If she leaves that kind of s**t alone, shes a damn sight better than Stephanie Meyer.

Oh, I still like Anne Rice, and her work. I must admit that it's disappointing to hear her praise such a petty author such as Smeyer, but I'm not going to stop reading or buying her books. Lestat is to gooood for thaaat. D:
