This training ground is were all of the shinigami mostly come if they are willing to use there Shikais in battle. Some even get to see the Captain and Vice Captains Bankai over here also. Its not uncommon to see the Captain training the Vice Captain of the 3rd seat here to help them learn there bankai. Just remember the reiatsu that these guys willl be putting out is not something to take lightly they are training and giving it there all sometimes. So its best to try and stand clear when they are training.

 Out of Shunpo Soma appeared standing in the center of the training ground. As Soma stood there he crossed his arms and smiled it was time to start training it was time for his Division to be ready for anything that comes there way. If the 5th Division wasn't ready then that meant that Soma wasn't ready. Which in a long term effect meants that the Gotei 13 was one Division less than they should have and protection was something they needed. Soma was going to make sure the 5th Division was ready no matter what.
"I think its time we move things along here."

Being highly skilled at Shunpo, and everything else that increased his speed, Shadow appeared before Soma, standing still. He had shunpo'd just as his captain had. Now he waited for orders. For some reason, most of his wounds were healed, and the dark rings around his eyes were fainter. What brought these changes was a mystery, even to Shadow. But at the moment, he wanted to prove himself.

Soma looked Shadow and just smiled the fact that Shadow thought that his shunpo was faster only lead him deeper and deeper into his defeat. Soma just looked at Shadow as he awaited for everyone else to show up. Yin should have been here already and the new girl should have also been here already as well. Soma smiled as he uncrossed his arms and placed his hands on his two zanpakutos and said to Shadow.
"Would you like to begin so that I can see where your skills stand."

Shadow eyed his captain, but turned and strode off, nodding once as he turned back about fifty feet away. He hadn't tested out his new powers yet, and this would be a test both for himself and for his captain. He was sure that Lanfaer's power was still active and useable, and that that was what was healing him. Shadow suspected that the Reishi around him was being drawn into his body at an increased rate, which would account for his rapid regeneration.
Now, looking at Soma, he nodded again, and drew his Zanpakto. "I am ready when you are." One thing that Shadow was unsure of was how to activate his eyes again. In Central 46, time had seemed to slow to his eyes, making it easier to dodge attacks. BUt since then, he hadn't experienced that power again. So, he hoped that it was tied into his Zanpokto, and that it wasn't gone permanently.

Soma looked at Shadow as he pulled both Doragon and Hebi out of the sheathes. As that was done Soma looked at Shadow. Soma sighed as he said to Shadow.
"Now, what kind of Captain would I be if I attacked you first. The first attack could be the turning point in a battle giving it to me would end you Shadow trust me. Even trying to dodge my attacks will result in you getting hurt in the end. You make your move."
Soma stood there looking at Shadow as he waited for Shadow to make his move. Soma wasn't a fool and he wasn't made a Captain for the since of being one either. Soma was a captain because of his knowledge and his sense of power. If anything Shadow would have to bring his A-game for this training battle.

Nodding, shadow held up his blades. His eyes glowed silver as he spoke. "Awaken, and roar your defiance to the heavens! Lanfaer! Moonfire!" The blades exploded in heat and ice, lights blending together in a myriad of different colors. Shadow gasped. This had never happened before. As the light began to fade, Shadow was awe struck to see that in his hands was a double bladed sword. With the appearence of the new shikai came knowledge of how to use it. Shadow didn't move as he continued to stare at his zanpakto in fascination and confusion. Where are the original shikai? What happened?!

Soma looked at Shadow as he watched the blades combine into one. The attacking force and the defensive force would be the major factor with Shadows shikai. The only things is to know how to use it to the best of his abilities. Could Shadow make Soma release his shikai in this battle or was there no need for Soma to even bring out his power in this training battle. Soma was a careful captain not to hurt his division members to the point where they couldn't battle anymore. He wouldn't hold back on them though unless they weren't ready to face his power just yet.
"So are you going to stand there and look at your shikai all day or will you use it in this training battle to bring out the rest of your power Shadow. Which will it be."
Soma stood there with both of his zanpakutos infront of him pointing towards the ground as he awaited for Shadows attack to start up the training.

Shadow nodded, and he blurred as he shunpo'd to Soma's side, blade spinning in an arc down towards his head while Shadow was caught in midair. As he did so, he hardned the air beneathe himself and grabbed the 2nd half of the blade with the other. He was fast, his speed having increased with his Shikai released.

Soma watched Shadows movements from the moment he left to the moment he appeared above him. With out warning Soma disappeared from the ground below him using the Yami Step that he came up with. This speed technique concealed his reiatsu as he moved. When Soma reappeared he was above Shadow with his right index and middle fingers pointed down at him. Without incantation Soma said.
"Bakudou # 61 - Rikujokoro."
With that done 6 rods of white light shot forward towards Shadow from 6 different sides cutting him off from escaping from different directions. As each rod shot towards Shadow they would trap him and keep him frozen in his tracks until the spell wore off. No, matter how fast Shadow was his speed was unchecked and Soma's actually mastery of this spell was actually checked. Its speed was faster than Shadows which would also cause him to be trapped in the Bakudou. With that done Soma landed several feet away from Shadow as he would watch Shadows body start to fall to the ground the being trapped.

Mizuki Ito
5th Squad Vice Captain A young woman walked into the training grounds at a leisurely pace. She looked nearly the same as any shinigami, except for her recently-dyed bright pink hair. The girl kept her hand by her blade, neatly sheathed at her side. Her eyes reflected much of the sunlight, so that one couldn't tell they were light grey. This woman is Mizuki Ito, the new Vice-Captain of the 5th Division.

Soma felt the reiatsu of another person enter the area. As she entered Soma looked back to find that it was the new Vice Captain of his division. This was something that would come to a shock to both Shadow and Yin. For them to have to work harder than a girl should be a new goal to them. Soma knew she would be a great Vice Captain thats why he chose her.
"Ah so you have finally come Mizuki, Ito. Did you get lost trying to find the place. Just playing. Would you care to join us in this training battle so that I can test everyone's skills in battle. Yin should be joining us sooner or later."
Soma said this as he kept his eyes on Shadow, who he knew would try and break out of the Bakudou that he had placed on him. In the end even if Shadow broke free he would have to get Mizuki to help him so that they could some how find a way to get Soma to use his Shikai in battle.

Shadow suddenly twitched, and his blades burst into flame. He suddenly began to chant as his Riatsu gathered to levels unknown for anyone of his rank. It was Liutenant level, but it was attempting to reach higher. "Tremble in futility, Anubis seeks golden scepter and the pure council. So engrave the rewards on the platinum tablet of Ra! Hadou #38 - Joseki! Pain lanced through him as his riatsu lashed out in a circle, fighting the wards about him. What was amazing is that he was close to doing it, so much so that the ground cracked beneathe him with the force of the colliding riatsu.
(eh. I dunno if I even have that much of a chance. I'd like to, though. You did use it without an incantation, which is supposed to lower it's power if i'm not mistaken)

Soma looked at Shadow. The funny part was Shadow was putting out to much reiatsu for his own good. If he really wanted, to show his captain how strong he was it was better for him to just try and fight through it. Soma felt Shadow's reiatsu reach that of Yin. The difference is that Soma wasn't using all of his reiatsu yet he wasn't a fool either he would just use little bits of his reiatsu to train his division. If anything he would go all out. Soma was training them and he wanted them stronger so if they couldn't stop him when he wasn't using his shikai they couldn't stop him with his shikai activated.
"Well Shadow, I think that you are trying to go far beyond what your body will allow you to go right now. If anything you shouldn't try and over due yourself or you will be risking great damage done to yourself."
Soma held both Doragon and Hebi making sure that whatever Shadow had planned Soma was ready for. Even if Shadow thought Soma wasn't ready he really was and that was his advantage over most of the enemies he faced up until this day.
