So, I'm going through my Critical Lv. 1 file. One of the few places I have to fill in is the completion of that 50-round Hades Paradox Cup. Getting all the points I need. AT LEVEL ONE. So, after I don't even want to know how long, I'm on the final fricking round. Hades is on his last legs. I set up a combo finisher to end the fight and complete one of the hardest challenges in the game at Lv. 1. And right before I impale him...
THE ELECTRICITY GOES OUT IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD.
I couldn't believe it. I had to go through that whole thing all over again. After this happened, I calmly walked over to the phone, called wind_adept_Ivan, and screamed "F*****************************CK" for about 5 minutes straight in his ear. His sister, who was downstairs at the time, while he was upstairs, heard me yell it. From over the phone. That's just how mad I was. And you know I'm pissed when I say that word, because I try really hard not to.

Something similar happened to me- when I was trying to beat the speed record for KHII (it's easier never to save, mind you, so we know where THIS WENT)
But I was mid-final-strike against Xemnas, and BOOM. power-outage.
I just sat and stared at the TV blankly until one of my friends who lives down the road from me called. I didn't scream a word, per-se, I think I more screamed a string of profanity that was in a butchered mix of japanese, french, german, itallian, hungarian, and english. = x =

omg, this happened to my friend Kitty once.
Cept it was FF8
She said she just got the ps1, and the ff8 game. AND NO MEMORY CARD.
Suffice it to say, she was up all night playing when her mom opens the door and tells her to turn it off. yeah......
same for me too, FF8, but I had actually accidentally saved over my most completed game with one i had just started. I was at ******* pandora!
I screamed into the T.V. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
I just sat ther for who knows how long.
and when memory cards go corrupt....that's the worst of all. In a game called Quest 64,(Nintendo 64, for those who have been living in a bubble) which uses one of those memory cartridge things on the controller. See, I was litterally at the boss!!!! I SAW it. Of course, I was pwned the first time because I had absolutely NO idea what to do. So, I turn of the game, come back a few days later with a tiny shred of a strategy, and I pick up the game. And you can guess what happened next.
I swear my mom would've called the police cuz she thought I was being murdered.

if it was a conscious act of hers against me, i would embrace it. of coarse, i always save on 2 memory cards at every save point. i learned watching my father play ff1. he spent 2 years on it, being a really crapped out copy, before he beat it.

I wouldn't mind knocking you flat a second time. And I did enjoy shutting off the power.... It was quite hilarious to see your reaction to that. Then again, Vexen had his "fun" with blizzard power outages as well... And Xaldin and Demyx with hurricanes. (Seriously, though. I was almost done with one of the more difficult gummi ship routes, all items and everything when one of the hurricanes (I forget which one exactly) caused a short power outage. Needless to say, it sucked.)

Well, you just got lucky that I let beat me up the first time around because I wasn't ready. Anyway, that just leaves Axel was the cause of the eruption of volcanoes or the wildfires that's in California.
