It had been quite a while since Linn last wandered from her family. Her mother kept a watchful eye on her, and her timidness about meeting new people made it even less appealing to wander about the world. But this day was different, and as Linn stood idly gazing at the sky she somewhat hopped to meet someone. It was becoming boring at home, and she wanted something, anything, to relieve the monotony that had become her life.

Zul'Aolani was lonely. He was bored, more importantly, and he knew that being lonesome and being bored came hoof in hoof. They seemed to be constant bed-fellows and it was exasperating to the poor stallion. Such a handsome guy as he was should never have to be alone. Right? With a sigh, he kicked a clod of dirt and looked up at where he was going. Zul' had been wandering, and he wasn't familiar with this part of the Kawani lands. The prospect still excited the foal that resided in his heart, but it reminded him that he didn't have anyone nearby to share it with. Turning to the east, he galloped as fast as he could in hopes that it would cheer him up.
And indeed it did, but not in the way he was expecting! Coming to a full stop, he whinnied as he came closer to a black mare he instantly recognised as Linn. She was by far his favourite foal he'd met, and now that she was grown she was his favourite mare. He thought of her as a sister, but more. She was so lovely, he couldn't help it. She confused him, and she made him smile. It was good to see her.
"'Lo there, Linn!"

The sound of hoof beats gave warning to the arrival of another, yet Linn did not turn her gaze to the newcomer. She simply stood there, watching the skys; that is untill a familiar voice drifted to her ears. Was it him? Was it really him? Her heart begain to flutter in excitement as she turned her gaze to her childhood friend. "Zully!!" She exclaimed as she sprinted to greet him. She had missed him so.
She felt safe with him, ever since he had protected her from that one two legger. Though Linn was with her family most of the time, she didnt really spend it with her family. She had always stayed quiet around them, distant. She didnt feel like she belonged, she was so different; she felt like they judged her even though they didnt. But Zully, she felt as though he never judged her. He was her big, over protective, brother.
"What are you doing way out here? I didnt think you lived near here."
