--Resident Evil 1.5--
General Information: As we all know and heard, Resident Evil 1.5 was the original Resident Evil 2. The game was set for release in March 1997. Capcom decided to scrape the project at almost completion (70-80%). The reason why? Capcom felt like the game played too much like the first Resident Evil. So when we look at the final version compared to the beta version of Resident Evil 2, much of the elements were kept and scrapped. Weapons were changed slightly along with different style of enemies.
Leon Kennedy was kept in the final version, but Elza Walker was later changed to Claire Redfield. The only difference between the characters is, Elza had no connection to Chris Redfield, which really opened up the story in the series. Most of the minors characters who were in RE 1.5, were kept in the final version, such as Sherry Birkin, Annette Birkin, William Birkin, Marvin Branagh, Chief Brian Irons, and John Kendo. Ada was also in the beta version but as the name Linda. Apparently she was working for Umbrella.
The enemies were also varied drastically along with weapons and armor. The big surprise was the hand-grenades and the different automatic weapons. Safety vest were a key part of survival where you could equip certain vest to decrease the effect of an attack. They also were great for holding more ammo and items. The enemies as mentioned before were different, more variety of zombies; fast skinny and fat, man spider monster, and even a infected gorilla.
As for Resident Evil 1.5, the game was completely different than the final version, backgrounds were very different along with much of the story. Many of fans has alway asked the big question. Will we ever see the game hit the light of day?

--Resident Evil 3.5--
General Information: Officially announced in 2001, Resident Evil 4 underwent a long development period in which three proposed versions of the game were discarded by the developers before the finished product was released in 2005. An earlier attempt at developing Resident Evil 4 was made from 1998 to 2000 for the PlayStation 2, with Resident Evil 2 director Hideki Kamiya leading the project. The first year was primarily spent on research of what the project would be, and included a trip to Spain for the development staff to study Spanish architecture. The first character designs were made. The direction that the project took was considered too much of a departure from the traditional Resident Evil style and the resulting game was revamped and released as Devil May Cry in 2001. The development of Resident Evil 4 got its official start in 2001 for the GameCube as part of an exclusivity agreement between Capcom and Nintendo. The first proposed version, dubbed the Fog Version, was unveiled in the Tokyo Game Show in 2002 and had Hiroshi Shibata, the background designer for Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, attached to the project. This version's premise featured Leon infiltrating Umbrella's headquarters in Europe, getting infected by the Progenitor Virus and fighting fog-like creatures. One of the most notable areas shown in this version was a flying airship; however, Capcom scrapped the second beta of Resident Evil 4 quietly and created a new version without any outside announcement. After the Fog Version came the Hooked Man Version. First shown at the E3 in 2003, this version was set in a haunted mansion and featured Leon fighting what appeared to be paranormal enemies, such as medieval suits of armor and living dolls. The most notable enemy in this version was the aforementioned Hooked Man, who was intended to be a recurring enemy in the game, along the lines of the role of the Nemesis. Source: Resident Evil Wiki

--Resident Evil 5--
Story: From the ashes of old conflicts, a new terror arises. The Umbrella Corporation and its crop of lethal viruses have been destroyed and contained. But a new, more dangerous threat has emerged. Years after surviving the events in Raccoon City, Chris Redfield has been fighting the scourge of bio-organic weapons all over the world. Now a member of the Bio-terrorism Security Assessment Alliance (BSSA), Chris is sent to Africa to investigate a biological agent that is transforming the populace into aggressive and disturbing creatures. Joined by another local BSSA agent, Sheva Alomar, the two must work together to solve the truth behind the disturbing turn of events.
Characters: Chris Redfield Sheva Alomar Albert Wesker
Enemies: -Majini -Chainsaw Majini -Exposed Plagas Majini -Executioner Majini -Infected Dogs -Infected Bat -Flying Parasite - Ndesu -Lake Monster
Weapons: ::Melee:: -Knife
::Handgun:: Beretta M92F - Designed for the US Government to resist the wear and tear of daily operations while allowing improved aiming, the Beretta 92 is a semi-automatic pistol. Uses Handgun Ammo. This is the standard firearm for the B.S.A.A, meaning you'll be using it often in Resident Evil 5. While the firepower and reload stats are average, this gun has a high critical percent rating. Samurai Edge - This custom Beretta M92F was designed for S.T.A.R.S and became standard for all members. It contains the S.T.A.R.S logo on the grip and includes more stopping power than the regular Beretta M92, and a stainless steel barrel. Members of the S.T.A.R.S team often customized their own Samurai Edge to their preference. Heckler & Koch P8 - This semi-automatic pistol has become a standard for the German Armed Forces. Sig P226 - This semi-automatic pistol has become a favorite among many armed forces, including the Navy SEALS. Beretta M93r - Designed for military and police use, this select-fire machine pistol can fire in three-round bursts and is popular for the extra firepower it permits. Originally appeared in Resident Evil: Code Veronica. Beretta PX4 - The Beretta PX4 Storm has become popular with law enforcement agencies.
:: Magnums:: S&W M29 - This powerful revolver has a magazine capacity of 6 and uses .44 caliber Magnum rounds. Capable of taking out most targets, unless they have assistance from, say, a biological virus... Smith & Wesson Model 500 - The S&W M500 is a five-shot, double-action revolver that packs quite a punch. It has an extremely high firepower, but is limited by the ability to initially only hold five rounds. Desert Eagle - Found in Resident Evil 2, the Desert Eagle was considered to be one of the most powerful weapons in the fact. This weapon should be more than capable of taking out most enemies.
::Shotguns:: Ithaca M37 - This 12-gauge shotgun has become popular among many police departments due to the fact that its light frame ensures that jams are a rarity. While this shotgun has a slow reload speed and only average firepower, its low cost helps make it popular. Benelli M3 - The Benelli M3 aka Super 90 is a pump-action shotgun that holds 7 rounds and is widely used by police forces. Striker - Making a return from Resident Evil 4, the Armsel DAO-12 Striker has a high ammo capacity, a high firing rate, and packs quite the punch. "Mad Max" - Most likely an adaption of the shotgun from the movie Mad Max, this is a 12-gauge double-barrel shotgun. Hydra - Designed for one-handed use, the Hydra's small size delivers devastating shots of buckshot ammunition, which easily offsets its low ammo capacity and poor reload speed.
::Sniper Rifles:: Sako 75 - With an extremely long range, the S75 Sniper Rifle is an effective means against picking enemies off from a distance. At some parts of the game, you'll need to use it to defend your ally from a distance. This is the basic rifle, and while it has the highest initial firepower of all the rifles, it has a very slow reload speed. Dragunov - The SVD sniper rifle is a 7.62mm semi-automatic weapon that has become standard in many countries. PSG1 - Designed for high accuracy, this precision sharpshooter rifle is considered to be an elite weapon, and has been used by Umbrella Biohazard Countermeasure Service team members. It only has the ability to store five rounds when initially purchased, but can be upgraded to hold an impressive fifteen.
::Sub-Machine Guns:: VZ61 - The Škorpion vz. 61 sub-machine gun has a reputation for its ease of use and uses .32 ACP rounds. While it has little real firepower, it can be upgraded to carry a maximum of 300 rounds of ammunition. MP5A5 - This German-designed sub-machine gun has been deployed widely among armed forces and law enforcement agencies around the globe, making it the most widely deployed sub-machine gun. The MP5A5 variant allows for a 3-round burst trigger grouping.
::Assault Rifles:: AK-74 - Designed as the successor to the AK-47 Assault Rifle, this weapon was common among Soviet-era forces. SIG SG 550 - This assault rifle has become standard across many countries and is often used by US federal agencies. It has a strong firepower and the fastest reload speed of all machine guns. Gatling gun - Big and bad, this rapid-firing weapon spits of bullets at an incredible rate of fire. Gatling guns are tradtionally too impractical to be used as hand-held weapons, so it is unlikely that Chris will be lugging one of these around.
::Explosives:: Flash Grenade - This grenade creates a powerful flash of light that blinds enemies for roughly 5 seconds. While this grenade does not damage to the target when thrown, it has been shown to be extremely effective against the Las Plagas parasite, which seems to suffer an adverse reaction to the light. Explosive Grenade - Probably the most common grenade, this explosive grenade is thrown at the enemy. You don't want to be near it when it goes off, or you might take some damage yourself! Incendiary Grenade - As the name implies, this grenade causes severe fire damage to anyone on its radius. Because of its lasting fire effect and its splash damage, it is very useful for situations that involve large numbers of enemies in tight crowds. Grenade Launcher - Designed to fire grenades in a single shot, the Grenade Launcher is perfect for lobbing grenades at great distances. It can fire six different types of grenades. They are explosive, acid, nitrogen, flame, flash, and electric. RPG-7 Rocket Launcher - A powerful and portable anti-tank rocket propelled grenade weapon, the RPG-7 is most likely to be one of the most powerful weapons in Resident Evil 5. While this rocket launcher will most likely be capable of doing large amounts of damage to anything it strikes, expect ammo to be a bit on the costly side.
::Misc:: Stun Rod - Use bursts of electricity to temporarily immobilize your opponents. Use it multiple times on the same target, and it could become lethal.
