redearthfire: It was sundown and the two had walked for hours, side by side. Though many words were not spoken, they both knew what needed to be done, they both knew what they were to each other. Ky was no longer worried about what she was or meant to him, she knew now. She had to know. Her eyes though full of anger often--seemed more alive tonight, thanks to him. Really, he had helped her grow so much, open up like never before. They had been set n finding his sister for weeks now, and they were drawing close from what they had gathered along the way. Ky wanted this to be over, she wanted his worries and fears to be set aside, she wanted to find his sister so that life could go on. Here was her hope, tracing along her paws as they both moved forward. Soon. "You think we are close?" She asked, stopping to gaze at him.

PhiferWolf: Iorek could only look forward with hope, praying that Yorrick was not too far away. With present circumstances, he was glad it was Ky he shared this journey with, he had seen many sides of a female his sister never had and sometimes, he worried more than he should. Either for himself or for her. They way this female acted, it still took his attention from the thoughts of his sister to the female that was right beside him. "She is close, I am certain. I can smell her in the air, faint, but she must be close," he replied. "I just hope she is alright."
In the distance, two figures laid beside one another, rather one ontop of the other. The dark female laid rested in the grass, staring idly at her paw as her daughter lingered over her shoulder, pawing and tugging at her. How could this all have happen without her knowing... and what more, what would they do now that they have gone missing? The mother of five let out a sigh, rolled over to embrace her daughter.

redearthfire: Ky slowed and looked back at him with worry filled eyes. She was there, not too far from them now. She was.... with a cub? Perhaps the worst really had happened. Slowly Ky moved back to his side and mewed. "Look..."
PhiferWolf: His heart sank. It fell so far down it was nearly out of reach. The sight before his eyes shook him to the verge of anger, sadness, depressing, and an array of emotions indescribable. Yorrick, his beloved, younger, twin sister was there before them with a cub in her paws, one that looked very much like themselves. She had a litter. Anger toward the ******** who screwed his sister. Sadness that their family's royal blood line was tainted by a damned rogue. He was depressed because he was not there to protect her. "Yorrick..."
Yorrick lifted her head, looking up at the male. Eyes went wide and maw spread from ear to ear. "Iorek! You found me! Oh how much I've missed you!" She exclaimed, rolling over enough so her daughter could slide off her chest. Raising to her feet, she ran to the male, pressing herself under his head with a loud, affectionate purr. "Oh brother, where have you been! Took you so long to find me, what happened you get lost and-" the sister's attention turned to the other dark female that stood a ways away. "Oh... and I guess you've found someone too?"
Iorek scowled and sighed. "How could this have happened..." he whispered to himself, his eyes staring at the little female.

(10:11:43 PM) redearthfire: "H-hello." Ky spat out with a blank gaze, unable to understand what was going on. What was going on? She seemed fine, why was he so upset? Her tail and ears both lowered as she moved forward some and spoke out again, her golden eyes narrowed slightly. "I'm Ky..." She knew how hurt he must have been, what was going to happen now? She awaited her reply.
(10:17:25 PM) PhiferWolf: Yorrick smiled back, "It's nice to meet you, Ky, I'm Yorrick," the mother looked down at her daughter, nodding for her to go on ahead and introduce herself. Obviously shy as the little female scampered off and hid behind her mother, poking her head out for a glance and away again. "And this is my little Shirah, one of five," Yorrick chuckled and smiled.
"One of five? There are more?" Iorek murmured, looking at the grey female who stared straight back at him. She was a mother of five with a male he did not know nor approve of, and she was acting completely normal. What was wrong with her, does she not see the picture? Their family. Their bond. Where did it all go or has she forgotten it? Looking at the feather that hung down behind her ear just like his, he wondered if she even remembered their parents' faces.
(10:21:40 PM) redearthfire: "What a cute girl..." Ky sighed and smiled at the two. She longed to have a bond like that some day, cubs, what a dream. Her eyes narrowed as she frowned at Iorek, muttering. "Try to be happy for her." She wanted him to see that his sister was happy, but maybe it hurt him to know she could be without him. Maybe it hurt him too much? Her body moved forward again as she spoke out. "Where are the others?"
(10:31:56 PM) PhiferWolf: "The others? They are with their father and the other females of my group. You know, he said it would be best if they had bonds with the others so we could easier communicate when we have to defend ourselves for any reason," she nodded sagely, pawing at Shirah. She was really happy where she was, finding a strong mate like Riddick. Maybe Riddick wasn't her mate, persay, but he did care about her and that was all she could ask for. She looked at Iorek, grinned, and ninja'd a long, sloppy lick to his face.
Iorek blushed heavily, pulling his head back, and blankly stared at his sister. She licked him. Again. "H-how many times do I have to tell you, don't lick me like that!!!!" he exclaimed. He knew, looking back, no matter how many times he told her never to do it, she would and when she did, it was usually when he was very serious over something she found trivial. Yorrick was the fun loving female while he was constantly worried about their safety and took everything seriously. With an exhale, he looked over to Ky, cocking a brow. "I am happy for her, I just... dun really ... show my ... emotions ... like that." he coughed.
(10:34:59 PM) redearthfire: "I am glad you are safe. Your brother had us hunting high and low for you." Ky laughed and nudged at his side, smiling. "You sound like you are very happy. I know I don't know you, at all, but I am glad I am able to meet you now." She was really happy, for the both of them. No joke. Sitting back the female smiled brightly and looked around, enjoying the air and land, for once.
(10:41:41 PM) PhiferWolf: "So, you two ... are you two ... together?" She questioned, swinging a claw to each of them with a sly grin followed by a giggle. It was hard not to ask seeing as the experiences she had of late has done nothing but alieviate her and made her into a better lioness, capable of hunting for herself and being able to care for her cubs. "And I kind of figured Iorek would do something like that, seeing as we went through a lot together . . ." she smiled solemnly, but tried to keep up the up beat conversation.
"Us? Well . . . that really depends on your view of "together" would be," Iorek replied, a vague one, but still a reply. He wasn't sure to make of it either. He liked Ky. He cared about Ky. Would he mate with her? If she was willing and when they were ready. Did he see them together for the rest of their lives, potentially if Zara or her brother Mal didn't get to him. Still, it was a thought that continues to pick at the back of his mind, slowly moving itself forward to his attention. "Ky?"
(10:46:45 PM) redearthfire: Ky's face turned hot red as her eyes went wide and ears dropped down, she looked like a lost cub at first, as if she didn't understand the question at hand. Ky had never cared for a male before, nor had she ever mated or birthed cubs, she never had the time to look for someone who could fit her, but now, here he was, with her all the time. She looked around as if she didn't know the answer, before speaking out with a rather bashful, half-assed frown. "Hah, well, I guess we have to see where it goes..." She looked at him, searching for an answer. "I care about your brother, deeply."
"Well, the way I see it, Ky, if someone cares about you, then you have someone to come back to. If this person loves you, then you have someone to be with," Yorrick smiled as she nudged her daughter to stand before Iorek, whom looked absolutely frightened at the male, confused but intrigued. It only took a second before she swatted at him and sped off behind her mother. Yorrick could only chuckle. "Their father became my life. Now ... that life has become my entire world. I wouldn't know what to do without him. I guess I chose him because he cared about him more than loving me, not because he didn't want to, but he couldn't. With those who are chasing after him, he chose to not love me to protect me from being a prime target," she spoke, reminiscing about the past she and Riddick shared with the group. "In a way, he reminded me so much of you, Iorek."
(10:56:50 PM) PhiferWolf: Iorek rubbed his forearm as the cub left him. She used her claws...! Looking at Yorrick at she spoke, he looked at Ky from the corner of his eye and took to heart what she said. She cared about him. Listening to his twin, it was confirmed. She was a mother. She has someone that cared about her. She was fine. And it was definite that she was not going to go with him, at least, not without her male, her family, and the friends she had gathered here. As she spoke of this male, it was obvious he was leader and two leaders together would just butt heads. "Well, I guess I am happy for you, sis. You have your friends and family, and I have my friend here. I can see that you're fine, but what do we do now?" He asked openly, more of a question for Ky than Yorrick.

(11:13:37 PM) redearthfire: "It's up to you, really..." She nodded and smiled at the family before her, all related by blood and love, it seemed. She didn't feel left out, no, she was just as much family now too, being with him and all. "We could settle down for a while, relax, and later go after my brother...?"
(11:18:21 PM) PhiferWolf: "Not such a good, idea, I'm afraid. Riddick does not want anyone outside our group lingering around. It may cause our followers to target you and I would feel guilty if something were to happen. Stay if you like, but do not sit here and twiddle," Yorrick interjected, standing to her feet in slight alarm. She knew the group was going to move soon, keeping themselves still only for sleep and food. Linger any longer meant their followers would have have time to get closer to them. "I love you, Iorek, I do not want to see either of you get hurt because of us."
"Seems like you got yourself into trouble again, sis, and I am not the one going to bail you out of it," Though he very much wish he would be the one to, but it would only cause him to get further into this game of cat and mouse of theirs, and bringing Ky into it as well. Though he hoped he could stick around and have a saunesta with Ky, but it seems like they will have to move shortly as well. He was glad he was able to see his sister, but now that he knew he may not see her again, hit pained him so. He diverted his eyes and nodded. "Maybe we should go, Ky. Rather not have us get into unnecessary trouble."
(11:20:50 PM) redearthfire: "Good idea." The female nodded and stood again, smiling brightly. "It was really nice, you know? Meeting and your cub. I wish you health and luck." Ky was not rude, she really wanted them safe.
(11:25:10 PM) PhiferWolf: "Let peace and patience be with you, Ky. Remain strong as always," she recited in memory of words her father spoke often whenever he left the pride. She smiled and nuzzled her brother one last time before picking Shirah up to head back to the group. Tears fell from her eyes as the scent of her brother, the last connection to her past, slowly faded.
Iorek let out large sigh and turned to Ky, smiling the best he could, still blushing from that lick. "I guess it is just us from here on out until we find Mal," he spoke, a crack in his words as thoughts of Yorrick drifted about. Getting close, he pressed his maw against her cheek, an old custom their pride had done, rather he just frequently saw his parents do it when they saw each other after a long day of whatever they did. "Thank you, Ky, for sticking with me for this long."
