Its wasn't unusul that this particular technician was eager to get started. Fresh on the 'squad' he had heard so much about the angel Pol that he couldn't wait to get started. His few glimpses of the angels and demons had made him more excited. But he found Pol more interesting due to her inability to stop moving.
He fidgeted form foot to foot wearing...a jogging suit of all things. He had done his research well, and knew that Pol hated to sit still for long periods of time.

Zach had hoped Dion had forgotten how the facility looked or at least didn't realize exactly where they were going until it was too late. Sadly it had only taken him a couple minutes before he tried to run back home. He must have heard Zach and Emilie whisper about it on and off over the past week. He probably sneaked around when they least expected it and listened closely without them knowing. The kid was too quiet for his own good, or at least he normally was.
"NO!!" Dion cried, trying desperately to pull his arm out of Zach's grasp. You'd never have expected Zach's strength by looking at him, artist never seemed like the strong type. Especially pacifist fairy artist. "NO NO NO NO NO!!!!" Dion shouted at the top of his lungs as they came closer to the facility. Dion's rings where shaking and spinning out of control in anger, fear and desperation. Zach had given up trying to quiet the child a while ago. "NOOOOOO!!!" Dion tried to run in the other direction but Zach picked him up and held him close, Dion's upper body ring was pinned between Zach and Dion's body. There was a line of bleeding bite marks going up Zach's arm but he didn't seem to notice. Curse Dion and his sharp teeth, holding onto him was like holding onto an alligator.
Zach arrived at the front of the facility only to see one of the tech's in a...jogging suit? Well, that was a nice touch. Much better then the usual white, maybe Dion would calm down because of it. "Hello. I'm here to meet Polondraeli with my son Dion." Zach said with a smile despite how their was a snarling, growling child in his arms. "Dion say hello." Zach said in a calm tone.
Dion glared at the man in the jogging suit. His long tail lashed out and tried to hit the man but Zach made sure to take a step back just as he did so. They weren't standing very close to the man to begin with, Zach knew better then to get too close to anyone when Dion was this angry. "Sorry." Zach apologized. "Stop." Zach ordered in a very stern voice. Dion kicked Zach in the leg with his heel but it did nothing more then make Zach stagger a little. "Stop or you can't play baseball, have to go to sleep early and will share your room with Aiko." Zach threatened. Dion hesitated for a moment, not taking his eyes off the tech in the jogging suit.
And then, like that, he stopped struggling. Zach held him for a few more seconds before gently placing him down on his feet. Still, Zach kept a firm grip on his arm and Dion looked pissed as ever. Zach sighed in relief before smiling at the tech. "Shall we begin?" He asked, the sooner this was over the better. Dion stood very close to Zach and slightly behind him. He glared at the tech and growled at him as a warning.

Having already memorized the child's name, genetic combination as well gaurdians information he nodded his head and offered a hand to Zach. "Pleased to meet you!" He quipped up sounding quiet friendly, it was painfully obvious he was the 'new guy'. And though he had studied the pictures taken of Dion he had to ooooh and awwww over how he appeared in real life. A picture was worth a thousand words but seeing the real thing was much much better!
Whoops! He stumbeled back a bit as the tail whipped out to hit him his smile faltering only slightly. He then gave a laugh his good humor seeming to get the better of him. Perhaps he hadn't yet been soiled by this facility either way it was like he was a breath of fresh air compared to most of the others who worked here.
"Hey there sorry Dion I am not as tough as you. I would probably of been knocked over if you hit me." He started his smile still lit on his face. Then when Zach prompted a reminder that they should probably start he straightened and nodded his head.
"Oh yes yes of course! Now I ...believe she is in the gardens its her favorite place to be...though lately she's been busy organizing some sort of party..so she could be in her room. but lets try the garde first since if she isn't there we can continue to her room." He spoke a mouthful he was excited as he turned around and then started off int he direction of the angel's quarters.
"You are going to really like her!" He continued after a moment...and seing him you think he was part diligence too with his endless amount of chatter and energy, "This will be my first time meeting her face to face too! you can't believe how excited I am! I have studied her closely from a distance though you wuoldn't begin to imagine how ...interesting she is! She never stops and just has so much energy!" He babbeled as they made their way to the gardens and was surprised to see her sittong on the ground her wings tucked in against her back whilst she was gardening.
"Oh!" He breathed, "Polondraeli, I brought you a child to visit with you!" He spoke giving a wave as if to catch her attention. Now that was definately different...most of the technicians referrred to the children as spawns or experiements...hardly ever referrring them to actual living breathing people.
She didn't turn her head she seemed quite focused on digging up a root that was ruining the garden. But her words were friendly enough if a bit strained whilst she faught with the stubborn root.
"OH! It is that time already??? Oh my my my give me one moment I am just...tr..trying.." the strain and annoyance in her vioce was aimed at the root at this point. "Grah! Fine you stupid root I will come back to you later...don't think this is over.." she warned it as she stood up and wiped the sweat off her brow and turned to face them. She was smiling again and opened her arms wide.
"Oh welcome welcome! I am Polondraeli, or you can call me Pol for short." she beamed at the pair walking up to them both.

Zach didn't want to say that this tech was odd. He most definitely was not. It was just....well, he was just too happy to work here. Compared to the techs Zach had met during his first experience this man stuck out like a sore, french tipped, Spongebob band aid covered thumb. It was weird but Zach didn't complain. He simply listened to his chatter with a smile of relief and a weary eye on Dion.
Dion, however, didn't trust him in the least. He clung to Zach for dear life and tried multiple times to hold Zach back away from the tech. Zach simply pulled him along. Dion didn't believe this guys happiness, every tech he remembered was mean, boring and disliked Dion for no apparent reason. This guy was talking up a storm with a sweat pants on!! He was a trick, a sugar coated trick with sprinkles. Something was up and Dion didn't like it one bit. He was here to meet this Polondrasomething angel but Dion wasn't so sure about that anymore. Maybe they were going to bring him back? No, never. Zach wouldn't do that. Maybe shots?!? Those evil needles that hurt and injected you with mysterious substances that apparently made you feel "better" when you felt fine in the first place?!?!? Dion's claws ripped through Zach's pants as he gave Zach a hard yank. A rather loud ripping sound signaled the nice hole Zach now had in his right pants leg.
Zach ignored it but the expression on his face showed that he was rather angry with it. As they entered the garden Dion calmed down slightly, he stared in awe at the garden but more so on the hunched figure on the ground that fought against a nasty root. Her voice was kind enough even if she was threatening nature. Dion couldn't take his eyes off of her white wings. The metal frames on them reminded him of Adhara's wings but he did his best to ignore that. Meanwhile, Zach was very much pleased with how this tech referred to Dion as a child and nothing less. He very much liked this tech though he doubted it would last long. Something about this place seemed to make everyone miserable. This tech had to be the new guy.
"A pleasure to meet you Pol. I'm Zach and this is Dion." Zach said, taking Dion's awed state as an opportunity to shove him out from behind him. Dion staggered a few steps forward towards Polondraeli and her open arms. He stared at her for a moment, surprised and fascinated with her but that quickly changed. He frowned at her, a sad attempt to cover up his obvious fear, as he slapped his hands over his upper arms. "No shots!!" He said loudly. With that said he ran back to Zach but Zach held him off and pushed him back towards Pol. "She's not going to give you a shot Dion." Zach said as Dion tried to get back to Zach yet again but Zach held him out by his shoulders.
"Liar!!" Dion said but he couldn't go anywhere. Zach held him firmly in place by his shoulders. His rings quivered in fear as he stared up at Pol as if she was about to inject him with seven different types of nasty.

Pol offered Dion her fairest smile, she went to tuck peice of her pale purple hair behind her ears before she went to kneel in front of Dion, she sat there looking Dion over that simple yet pleasant smile on her face.
"Oh you are just so adorable. " she coo'd she found that the wrings that circeled around him quite interesting. She reached out to touch one but stopped before her fingers could brush aainst the metal.
"Oh Dion may I please touch them?" She inquired looking like she would be very sad if she couldn't. She stretched out her own wings to show them to the young boy.
"See? I have a metal frame around my wings...they look similar to those rings aruond you." She explained as she was trying to find some common ground with the boy, perhaps get him to relax a bit. It seemed even the great energy of Pol could be contained when needed, she didn't want to scare the boy.
The trinkets that adorned her own wings tinkeled in the air, they were gold and looked like some abstract version of the cross.
The technician wondered if he should leave...the boy seemed realyl to hate it here, he couldn't understand why...though when he objected to getting shots he figured it must just be a fear like being at the doctors.
"Ohdon't worry, no shots. You are just here to talk to Pol." He offered trying to help ease the young boys worries. He wasrewarded with a kind smile from the angel.

"She's not going to hurt you Dion." Zach said to Dion softly as to ease his fear. Dion looked at him for a brief moment, a fearful and skeptical look on his face before glancing over to the unusual tech and then to Pol. Her wings were huge and beautiful, Dion very much wanted to reach out and stroke the feathers but he was unsure if he could trust her. The metal frame of her wings and the small trinkets that adorned them reflected the light of the garden gently and Dion was fascinated by them.
Zach noticed Dion's interest so he, very gently, pushed him forward. Dion looked back to Pol, his eyes still holding fear and worry but he nodded. "If I get to touch your wings." Dion said, a slight frown on his face but that was about it. They had said no shots, Dion wasn't sure if they were telling the truth. If they tried anything he'd bite them so hard they'd wish they never tried anything in the first place.

The great diligence angel gave a happy sound as Dion spoke to her, she seemed absolutely thrilled with the idea of Dion opening up to her. She took spotted his interest in her charms and curving her wing in front of her she turned her body at an awkward angle and managed to unclip one of them. It was fairly large upon closer inspection, the strange cross like shape fit lengthwise in the palm of her hand though it was not heavy in the slightest.
Stretching her wings out the setteled back to be folded against her back she then offered the Trinket to the boy.
"Here, you can have this Dion." she said in a happy tone, "It shows that we are friends and it will bring you hapiness in your life." She claimed. Though weither or not the latter was true she seemed to believe so.
The technician was awe strucked in the fact that Pol had actually taken one of her trinkets off her wings. Wow....Dion aws so lucky to be getting that.

Dion stared at the trinket in her hand in shock. His mouth hung slightly opened as the situation sank into his brain. She was giving this to him? Him? Of all people? Why?!? Dion's pale blue eyes looked to Pol and back at the trinket. He glanced back at Zach for a moment to see if he wasn't getting tricked her. Zach gave him a slight nod, to show that it was okay for him to take the trinket.
Dion, still a little skeptical, tried to suppress a smile as he reached out and took the trinket from Pol. He failed miserable. As the trinket laid in his small child sized hands he was grinning. A wide grin that stretched across is face and showed his sharp teeth to the world. "Thank you." Dion said as he stared at the metal in his hand, turning it over and over so it caught the light of the room. The metal was smooth against his fingers and palm and he made sure not to scratch it with his claws.
Dion looked back to Pol once he was done examining the lovely gift. He was still smiling though not as broadly. He didn't seem to be scared or skeptical anymore. He was much too please with the trinket to really care. Dion took a moment to unclip one of the crystals from his ring. It took a little bit for him to do so since he was working with one hand. Once it was free he handed it over to pol with that same smile.
"Not as nice..." Dion said a little sheepishly, his smile shaking a little as the thought of his own rings not being nice enough crossed his mind. He considered drawing his hand back and giving her something else but what more could he give her? He kept his hand out with the crystal held carefully away from his claws. the crystal laid in his palm as his hand shook slightly. Dion's rings shook shyly, portraying his childish embarrassment.

Pol gave a estatic coo sound sounding thrilled that Dion was giving her a trinket ofhis own. She reached out her fingers gently took the offered trinket in his hand and she looked thrilled. Excitement sparkeled in her eyes as she looked over it just to see how it looked. She then outstretched a wing and went about clipping to it.
"Oh my! Dion that is so generous of you!" She squealed still happy about seeming to have won Dion's favor. Once the new charm had been adorned she stretched her wings out fully and gave them a slow flap. It tinkeled along with the rest of her charms.
She then reached out and took hold of Dion's trembling hands, it was a reassuring gesture.
"You are so special Dion." she said as she reached a hand to stroke his cheek. "Can I give you a hug?" She inquired immediately after. It looked like it was taking all her energy to not glomp him on the spot.

This meeting was going much better then Zach had thought. Minus the whole, hole in pants thing of course. The Tech was a nice guy, very nice actually and Dion had warmed up to Pol rather quickly. Zach had no idea what to expect from the angel of Diligence but this was much better then anything he could have come up with. Zach smiled softly, watching Pol take the trinket and offer Dion a hug. Now the question was whether or not Dion would accept it.
Dion couldn't help but give a awkward simile at the compliments. The way she gently held his hand and stroked his cheek reminded him of Emilie for a moment. But she wasn't Emilie, she was Pol and that thought kept itself glued in his mind. Pol was nice, very nice but she wasn't Emilie or Zach or even Aiko. They had DNA relations but that was about it. Still, Dion liked her. He liked her a lot. Dion was her friend and him her's and she was pretty and nice and generous. Dion smiled at her again as he nodded, accepting her hug.
"You're a lot nicer then the other people here." Dion said, opening his arms to hug Pol. It was true, Pol and that tech guy (who Dion was very much still skeptical about) were really nice compared to everyone else he had met here which wasn't actually a lot considering that Dion only remembered a few and those people were only distinguished by a clipboard or glasses. Oh well, that was more then enough people for Dion.

Pol gently embared the child letting her wings wrap around to sheild them from view of others. This was their special hug and no one needed to interfer with it. Pol's body was warm and seemed light despite the fact she was so active. She gave him a warm snuggly sort of hug, her lips pressing a kiss to his forhead lightly.
"Thank you Dion, your pretty nice too." She commented with a giggle before she looked into his eyes.
"The people here tend to be cold..and bitter. But if you give them a chance...there is always good in everyone...no matter how small." She pointed out tapping her finger on his nose in a cute gesture. She then released the boy and folded her wings back up and went to stand up. She offered him her hand.
"So tell me a bit about yourself Dion." She said softly.

Dion was so in awe over her wings that while she gently snuggled him in her arms Dion reached out and gently touched her feathers with the underside of his fingers. So clean and white and awesome! Dion was only brought back to attention when Pol lightly kissed him on the forehead. Her giggling was contagious, Dion couldn't help but give a small chuckle with her before she looked into his eyes.
Dion wasn't sure if she was right about everyone having good in them. That girl, Adhara, she hadn't been all too nice. Well, actually, she had tried to apologize to him but Dion hadn't accepted it. Maybe he should have, if he had and just let everything drop then they wouldn't have gotten into that food fight. Dion regretted having not accepted her apology but his guilt was diminished when Pol gently taped him on the noise. He'd think about all that stuff later on.
"Uh," Dion started "well, I like to play baseball." Dion smiled at her. "Catching is okay but I like batting more. You get to hit stuff with a wooden stick and run around the bases." Dion swayed back and forth on his feet a little, Pol's trinket still held firmly in his hands. "Pitching is boring though. You just stand in one spot and throw a ball. I like to run and stuff, standing gets boring." Dion began to fumble with the upper body ring as he tried to clip Pol's trinket there like she had clipped his to her metal frames.

Pol giggled again when he explained why he liked certian parts of baseball. It made sense given his genetics...standing around in one place took a lot of patience. She would know.
She loved it when he laughed and when he smiled she was happy to have gotten Dion to open up and trust her. She reached forward to settle his upper body ring, she lightly felt the smooth metal a litte in awe of how they hovered around him.
"I know completely what you mean, I would rather be running around too." She agreed with a nod of her head. She giggeled again.
The technician was in awe. She had gotten him to open up and talk...he no longer looked nervous and he was actually discussing his past times.
"Do you have a favorite baseball team?" He asked when the discussion landed on baseball. He was far too nerdy to know any of the teams but...hell he thought it was a good way to see if he could get the kid to like him.

Once the trinket was securely on his wing Dion smiled at her once more. "I usually get Aiko to pitch but she's not very good at it. Aiko's my little sister." He told her, still finding it weird referring to her as his sister but he had to do it sooner or later. He stared at the trinket for a moment, allowing his rings to turn slowly around him as he watched in awe as he shined with the rest of his crystals. He watched it until it turned around his body and out of sight. He looked to Pol and smiled yet again, he never smiled this much in a single day. "Thank you." He said and wasn't really sure what else to say. Thank you seemed a cheap way of showing his gratitude.
Dion's head spun around when the tech spoke. He had completely forgotten he was even there but now that he had reminded him he frowned at the tech. He hesitated in answering but did so none the less. He'd give this tech a chance like Pol had said before. He hadn't been mean to him or Zach and he was wearing a jogging suit so he couldn't be all that bad. At least not with that fashion sense. "No." He said and was quiet for a moment.
"I don't watch a lot of T.V. I get bored. Zach likes a couple teams, Zach taught me how to play." Dion said, loosening up to this guy a little but not too much. He still frowned at him slightly, all those smiles from earlier were momentarily gone. "Do you?" He asked rather rudely but it was better then no question at all. Zach sighed some, at least Dion was making an effort to get to know the tech. He hoped the tech wouldn't take Dion's rudeness personal and kept trying to befriend the kid. Zach knew that once Dion was away from Pol there was a fifty percent more of a chance that Dion would try to hit the poor guy again. Best to try now when he was in a good mood.

The tech literally beamed at actually having Dion respond, he rubbed the back of his head a bit embaressed, "Hahaha not really I don't watch much television either. I have been far too busy with work." He replied sheepishly, "But I always thought it would be neat to try and play it." He continued with a nod of his head and he did a fist pump in the air with his right hand. "Though I doubt I would be atheletic enough for such a sport."
Pol was smiling as she watched Dion slowly open up to others, she was feeling antsy herself but that wasnt going to ruin this meeting. She could be paitent.
"Oh! I have never played baseball myself, but it does look like a lot of fun." She added as a bright idea hit her. "OH OH we should form a baseball team! That could be ever so much fun!" She continued with a slight squeal in her tone. Yes that woudl be ever so much fun! Get to play outdoors and run around bases! She knew the gist fo the game and the rules...but had never had the experience to PLAY it.
