Krui peered around a thick tree trunk, thinking she had seen something move in the underbrush. She and her brother had decided to go and play and somehow managed to get separated. No real surprise really, Krui had a tendency to leave her brother behind, not because he couldn't keep up but because the filly tended to rush into things.
"RUUUUUUUUKIIIIIIIIIIIII!" She called out, thinking it was her brother and not another soquili.

Brioso frowned, stopping to examine a tree in her path; she was sure she had seen that huge tree somewhere before, recently... Hold on, that purple flower underneath it looks familiar too... Didn't she just past by that a while ago? Flicking her tail, the female walked slowly towards the tree, trying to confirm her assumptions; what sort of heroine gets lost... Uh, geographically misplaced all the time anyway?
She will have to leave it out of the story when telling her siblings.
Just as she was about to turn around and head the other way, there was a loud call from the other side of the tree. Raising an eye-brow, the filly immediately turned around, blinking curiously before clearing her throat loudly and sticking out her chest, "Who's there?"

Well, that certainly didn't sound like her brother. It sounded female, for one thing. She marched round to the other side, the voice gave Krui the impression it wasn't anything hostile or dangerous.
When she saw it was another filly, Krui only became even more self-assured. Her own posture was confident, unafraid, "I'm Krui, that's who! How's about you? Who're you supposed to be?" she demands with a c**k of her brow.

Flashing her 'heroine' grin - something she wants to perfect as her very own trademark smile - Brioso greeted the other filly with a nod, "I'm Brioso, a heroine in training." Then, she walked a few paces towards Krui, looking questioningly at her. Slowly, her expression changed to one that looked almost hopeful.
"Do you need help in anything, by any chance? You sounded like you were calling for someone?"

Krui flashed the other filly her own grin, though it was really more of a smirk. At hearing the heroine in training, she stared curiously at Brioso. "In training? Like you're studying how to be a heroine?"
She snorts in amusement, "Nah, I don't need help. I always find my brother." She declares proudly, though adds as an after thought "Eventually."

"Studying without a teacher," Brioso nodded, her tone serious. Flicking her tail, the filly chuckled softly at Krui's comment on her brother, thinking about her own. For once, she didn't feel disappointed at the lack of opportunity to help. Turning her attention back to the filly in front of her, the female continued, "I always seem to lose my siblings, but I know what you mean about finding them eventually."
Of course, she was the one who was always on the go. In fact, she considers her adventures too dangerous for her siblings; its best they stay behind at home where its safe.
