Like Downtown, Uptown Karakura has a great many people, however; as Uptown makes up the surrounding area of Karakura, the expanse of area Uptown covers is naturally larger in base and while in actual size it's not a great deal larger, the difference is in how that land is distributed, properties are usually closely huddled together but not in a compressed manner, enough room for people to sit together and still have their elbow room. Uptown Karakura is made up of residential properties for the most part but is also where the three schools Karakura has become somewhat known for are located. Karakura High, the local high school is located in the Northwestern district and is in the middle-class neighborhood. Nagoya Elementary is located in the Southern district and is known for being very high-class. Nagoya University however; is in the Northeastern border of Uptown Karakura and despite its prestigious achievements and reputation the school is located geographically in a lower-class portion of town, shared by the diligent and the delinquent alike.

 [Akuma]
Stepping out of the gate an into uptown area of Karakura Town, Akuma sported his usual captain's attire and Zanpakuto. He carried no Gigai with him, in fear that some human pedestrians would take note to the odd looking individual carrying a weapon. Now, where are these hollows? He thought to himself, looking in all different directions. Hearing the distant howls of the beasts he started to head toward their general location. He wasn't about to start rushing into a battle without any knowledge of the situation. Odd, no one else is around. He thought to himself. Feeling a large presence of hollows he would have figured that there were more Shinigami in the area.

 Kazuma appeared in the area. It was simple he was sent here with Jouka to finish off the hollows in this area. As Kazuma made it to Uptown Karakura Town he noticed the 7th Divison Captain. Kazuma was kind of looking crazy at the fact that Akuma was in the area.
"Akuma-Taicho, I didn't know you were coming to help out in the protection of Karakura Town."

Here in the area of the uptown side of Karakura things were about to get shaky. The sad the part was the down side of what was going to happen here. They would probably get it the worst of the three sides the hollows were attacking. The ground soon began shaking and the air around them would feel stiff to those who were spiritually aware. Three large folds in the sky would open about 2 miles away from each other. From these folds three folds three large hands would pull them over like curtains munch like how the other menos grande entered through the other areas of town. One after the other like beats drumming behind each other the three menos grande entered the side of uptown Karakura. Things were turning to be a mess now. The little fighters that they did have probably had their hands full and to add these big three would totally brighten the day for them.

[Akuma]
Looking behind him he noticed Kazuma had appeared around him. Giving a greeting smile toward him he nodded his head and chuckled a little. "Well I wouldn't be much of a captain if I wasn't, besides this is good research material for me and my squad." He commented in a delightful tone. Noticing the sudden change in atmospheric pressure, he quickly understood it as the presence of either a large group or hollows or a small group of powerful hollows. Either way, it was trouble for the two and anyone else in the area. His body weight became increased as he started to walk toward the point of origin of the spiritual change. Noticing the trio of Menos Grande's having appeared he sighed, and expressed a dissatisfaction on his face. It would seem that the information was incorrect. He thought to himself. Suddenly he could sense that their presence had attracted other enemies, though of lower standards, these coming lesser hollows were still a threat to the Human world.

Kazuma smiled as he heard what the Captain Akuma had said. It was true but, Kazuma could also feel that something bad was about to happen. It might have not been bad but, it would have been a serious battle that could change things. Kazuma looked at Akuma and siad to him.
"Akuma-Taicho do you feel that spiritual pressure. I don't know where its coming from but, Its strong and its two of them combining together."
Kazuma pulled out his zanpakuto and held it infront of his body. As Kazuma did this he started to raise his rieatsu as he said.
"Awaken, Izanme"
As Kazuma said that his zanpakuto turned into a scythe based weapon that Kazuma was ready to use willingly. Kazuma started spinning the scythe around as he charged through the hollows that were around him and the area.

 Grinning from the distance Jouka walked with his hands pressed behind his back. With the three menos grande out there at the moment things seemed to get heated around the Karakura. But that wasn't a worry of Jouka. "Hm I see you've already showed up isn't that nice." He said strolling over to the area where the two shinigami stood. He stood there watching each of the menos grande as they crept along the city. The scene was obvious. "Well now it's time we get right to things don't you think." He grinned more than ever while sending a text through his soul pager.

[Akuma]
Nodding to Kazuma he looked toward the incoming hollows. Pulling out his zanpakuto he wasn't ready to release it just yet. Taking out a few of them as they came toward him he could sense the presence of another nearby. A friend. Taking a moment to look toward Jouka he gave confirmation to his presence and his thoughts. "It's good to have comrades." Akuma noted as he started once more to clear away and cleanse some of the hollows nearby. With the mass amount of numbers, he was amazed that not a single creature had brought forth the gates of hell, however it was a pleasantry as he was now resting the corrupted souls of the beasts before him.

 [Durissa]
Stepping out of the senkai gate from her captain's office she arrived in Karakura town just off a distance from the group of incoming hollows. Stepping up on the roof tops of some nearby buildings, Durissa kept watch from afar. Looking to find Jouka she shortly noticed him among a few recognized Shinigami.

Kazuma noticed that his vice captain had appeared. Jouka was indeed stronger than him by alot. Kazuma also guessed thats why Soma had him as a vice because of his strength and power. Kazuma continued to cut through the hollows that were infront of him. Each hollow fell or disappeared infront of him as he cut through them. Kazuma wasn't going to let the hollows continue to hurt these people.
"Akuma-taicho its time that we.........."
Kazuma's body felt heavy and he didn't know why. It seemed as though Soma's reiatsu pressed on all the way to the Uptown area of Karakura Town. Kazuma could tell that his Captain was about be in a heated battle that could help out this whole situation. In the end Kazuma continued to cut down the hollows. The adjuntas moved towards Akuma and Jouka. One Adjuntas made his way to Kazuma to test out his power.

Looking over to see that the fourth seat had succumbed to the riatsu pressure nearby. He quickly noticed the hollows that had started for him. "Defend Ko, Hatsu" Akuma called out. Punching the ground with his newly braced arm Akuma sent a giant shock wave through the ground clearing away the hollows within a fifteen feet radius.

Kazuma was amazed to see that Captain Akuma had saved him from his defeat of the hollows. Kazuma was weak in a alot of ways. It was something that Kazuma wanted to work on to move up in ranks. Kazuma smiled as he twirled the scythe around and then quickly cut the ground infront of him. Once Kazuma did this a large number of undead warriors appeared in the area from the cut that was made. Each warrior was under the command of Kazuma alone. As Kazuma looked at them and then the hollows he said in a calm voice.
"Attack kill all of the hollows that stand in your way."
As Kazuma said that the undead warriors attacked the hollows destroying the hollows along being destroyed themselves. Kazuma also twirled the scythe around his body destroying hollows as he went from one place to another using shunpo as his base for his movements. Kazuma was trying to cut through each hollow as if there were paper some of them were harder to cut through than others but, they were still cut down as if they were nothing. The undead warriors attacked the hollows destroying them as they made there move towards the menos themselves. Some were defeated while some weren't.

[Akuma]
Fighting his way through the hollows Akuma noted the strange appearance of solider like creatures attacking along side Kazuma. Paying no unneeded heed to this sight he shrugged it off as Kazuma's ability. Anyone fighting by your side was a friend, Akuma believed in this philosophy. Fighting his way through the ranks he came across some stronger opponents among the weak. Although they still met the same fate as the others, it was a more challenging task.

 When Delos arrived in the uptown area he almost couldn't believe what he had just seen. Three menos grande were moving about the area causing rampage with the lesser hollows that followed. He wasn't alone though. There were three men that he noticed. A large one who seemed to be smashing the earth with some type of attack, whatever it was it sure was effective against the hollow. One of them looked pretty young who was a boy that wielded a scythe. Last but not least was another man who looked the strangest of them all. This man had a grin from ear to ear. This grin was so suspicious that it even creeped Delos out from just looking at him. It was like staring at a snake in the eye. Very disturbing and eye shaking. Then it hit him. He had seen this man before! His hand lifted up slowly and it began to shake. "Yo you're you're...you're." But Delos couldn't finish. The expression that formed on his face took that of a horrid expression. As if this snake had finally revealed it's fangs.

"Sorry kiddo. Show's over. Devour Ikatsui" Jouka said vanishing from sight through shunpo and reappearing in Delo's face with his zanpaktou impaled through the man's chest. The zanpaktou itself was covered in darkness and the blood seemed simply splashed outward when he began to cut sideways with it. He then smiled more broadly than ever when the blood splashed in his face. Licking the blood away he twisted the blade inside of the man until he could see the grimace of ultimate pain crawling up his expression. For minutes he stood there just holding the zanpaktou. Around him the other shinigami would probably be astounded with what he just did. Totally blown away for the simple fact that he had committed such a terrible deed. By the time he had completed this simple task, the Kazuma would find himself surrounded by darkness of a sandy material. Each of them sticking and attracted to the boy's skin grain for grain until his entire body appeared black. Once the boy was covered, each grain began swelling into spikes that stabbed the boy from every end until unconsciousness. The boy was lucky that his attention was more focused on Delos at the moment, otherwise he would've been killed. Delos however did not receive the same reward. By now Hitoma had probably started the games as well and things were about to become even more fun after that.
