-March 12 2009- PROPOSAL!

Noah: -Staring out the window looking at the moon and stars, thinking-

Cori: *comes to sit down beside him and looks out the window with him. Silent for a moment* Is everything alright, love?

Noah: -Ears flick at Cori's voice and looks over at her- Oh, yes. I was just thinking about some things.

Cori: *turns to look at him, and smiles* What kind of things?

Noah: Just some things that have been crossing my mind lately.

Cori: Oh...okay. *looks back at the moon, trying not to pry because he said he was alright* ...Its pretty tonight.

Noah: -Nods- Um, yeah, it is. -Plays around and twiddles his thumbs- How long do you think we have been together Cori?

Cori: *thinks* Well...we met on Valentines Day last year. Didn't we? I think we were together awhile after that...maybe almost a year.

Noah: -Nods- Yeah, we did, and it has all been great so far, right?

Cori: Of course it has! *smiles*

Noah: ...What if there was a way to make it better?

Cori: *looks at him with a slightly confused look* Is this what you've been thinking about?

Noah: Well...You know I love you more than anything, right?

Cori: *blushes and starts getting butterflies in her stomach, wondering about what he's going to say* Y...yes, and I love you more than anything too.

Noah: Well, I know..I'm probably late, but..as I said..I love you more than anything.. so.. -Takes out a small black box and pops it open to show a ring- W-will you marry me, Cori?

Cori: *gasps a little and looks at the ring. A big smile forms at her lips* Of course Noah, I'd love to marry you! *wraps her arms around him and hugs him* It's so beautiful! This is what you've been thinking about! That you wouldn't tell me! *grins*

Noah: Well, uh.. -blushes and nods- Yeah, it is. -smiles- I just..didn't really know when I should ask.

Cori: *smiles and kisses his cheek* Tonight was a nice night. I'm very happy, it couldn't have been better.

Noah: -Smiles more as he gently kisses her and slips the ring on her finger- I'm glad I really could make things better then.

Cori: *kisses him back and smiles brightly as he puts the ring on her finger* Everyday with you seems to get better and better.

Noah: I can't deny it is the same on this side. Just seeing every day makes my day brighter and better.

Cori: That's good. *smiles* Our kids have made a difference too. I loved watching them grow. I can't believe they've grown up already! Do you think they will want to be in the wedding?

Noah: I hope so. It would be sad if they weren't there. They are our kids after all, but if they aren't..then I guess they have a reason.

Cori: I'm sure they would want to. ^^ I can't see why they wouldn't.

Noah: -Nods- That's true. I suppose we should plan out the wedding at some point. I guess it is good that winter is over.

Cori: Yeah. We can have a nice spring wedding. Or wait till summer, but it might be really hot.

Cori: *laying in front of the fireplace*

Noah: -Makes his way down the stairs and stops at the bottom, his eyes locked on Cori- Comfortable there?

Cori: *rolls over and grins* Yes, it's very warm. ^^

Noah: I would imagine so since you are lying right in front of it.

Cori: *smiles* Well, that's the point right? *stands up, does a little twirl, wobbles a little, then goes to stand beside him at the bottom of the stairs* So, what are you up to?

Noah: -Nods as he wraps his arms around Cori- Well that's true. -Shakes his head- Nothing you have to worry about. Just mostly thinking about the up coming months.

Cori: *smiles and wraps her arms around him too and hugs him* I wasn't worrying. So what were you thinking about?

Noah: Just, you know; Christmas, New years..Valentines Day.

Cori: *sighs happily* Lots to look forward too? *plays with the ring on her finger*

Noah: Yeah, it's going to be an eventful couple of months ahead, but at least we won't be bored.

Cori: Yeah. Christmas presents. *smiles* Mistletoe! *tightens her arms around him in a little squeeze* New years, valentines. *thinks* And we've still got to find time in between all that to plan our wedding.

Noah: Wow... -Chuckles- By the time we finish that it might as well be our engagement anniversary.

Cori: *laughs* Well...I heard somewhere that it's good to be engaged for a year. But I guess in our case...we were already together before we got engaged, so....*puts a finger to her chin like she's thinking* I guess we are just slow! *laughs*

Noah: -Smiles and shakes his head- I would not call us slow, but more like just walking at our own pace, since ever relation has its own pace, right? Just so happens most on the island are just faster than us.

Cori: *laughs* Well I like us and our pace. It suits me just fine. ^^ As long as we are together, then I am happy.

Noah: Then we have been alright for a long time now, and I hope we can be okay for..well forever.

Cori: I'm sure we will be. *smiles and leans up to kiss him softly*
