Ford smiled to himself as he trailed behind his father. They were going to the fair! He had been to an indoor one as a toddler, full of bumper cars and Whack-A-Mole and funny men in stilts and wigs, but because the weather was warming up, this one was outside! It was still a little nippy, so the spawn wore a puffy blue vest over his purple and green long-sleeved t-shirt, all with large holes cut into them for his wings.
"Where do you want to go first?" his father asked, once they had purchased their tickets and gotten their bearings. Sander carried a giant mound of cotton candy, which he ripped a piece off of every so often. Ford watched as his dad stuffed the most recent blob into his mouth and the boy made a face. "Sorry," Sander said with a shrug. "Gotta eat."
Ford looked out over the fair. "Face painting," he declared. Then maybe a fake tattoo!

Tykier was happy to go to the fair..! His guardian gave him his allowance money to go to the fair (He flew to the fair, btw). After he paid for a ticket, he went into the fair grounds, looking at what he should do first...

The line for face painting was long, almost so long that Ford didn't want to stand in it. He sighed. Off in the distance, he spotted an odd-looking winged boy, even more odd-looking than Ford thought he himself was, compared to most people. The other kid's hair seemed to shimmer somehow, and he only had one eye! Ford was reminded of Marcy and her one wing, but only for a moment. This person was almost interesting enough to lessen Ford's shyness, but not quite. Still, he stepped toward Tykier, forfeiting his place in the face painting line as his father followed.

Tykier looked around the fair, then noticed Ford come toward him. "Hm..?" Ty brushed his fingers in his long, silvery ponytail(I'm playing him as a teen). "Well, hello there," he smiled.

"Hi," Ford said, reaching up and sticking a bit of his own hair in his mouth. "Are you gonna ride on rides?" he asked, because that's what big kids did. Ford was afraid of the rides, especially the one that spun and spun before the bottom dropped out, but it would be nice to know someone who had ridden it.

"I don't know yet... I was possibly thinking of becoming a kid again, and get my face or arm painted, well... My right arm..." Tykier laughed as he showed Ford his left arm, which was the red one.

"Oh," Ford said. He kind of wished he had stayed put in line now. "Want to wait with me and my dad? I'm gonna get painted like a frog." He looked at the older boy's arm and wings. "Can you fly?"

"Okay, sure..!" He walked over with Ford, "Yes, I can fly... But only for certain distances..."

"Cool," Ford replied. His own wings were quite well behaved and he couldn't fly at all. He wondered if he ever would for a moment, but quickly came the conclusion that he didn't really want to. Being off of the ground seemed like it would be scary. "What's it like?"
Up ahead, a little girl with newly-completed tiger face paint skipped away to rejoin her parents and the line moved forward a couple of feet as the next child sat down. There were two adults doing the painting, and it looked like they were about to be joined by a third. Maybe the line wouldn't take that long after all.

Tykier was surprised at the question because he was never asked that before, "Well.. It feels actually pretty good. The wind in your hair is really quite refreshing..." He moved with the line.

"You aren't afraid you'll fall?" he asked. Realizing that might not be the most flattering thing to say to someone he just met, Ford added, "I would be."

Ford nodded, still not entirely convinced. "Maybe I'll try it then," he said. A nearby carnie announced free cotton candy at his stall and several kids abandoned the line to go get some. "Looks like we're... next?" Ford said. How had that happened? "You want to go first?"

Tykier laughed, "How about we both go..?" He walked over to one of the seats next to a grown up, and looked at Ford, smiling.

Ford grinned and shuffled forward, plopping into the chair Tykier hadn't claimed. "A frog, please!" he said, not detailing where he would like this frog. The older woman painter smiled, getting out a clean brush with a nod.
