Welcome people. Let's get this mission briefing over with, shall we?
As of 0017 hours 2 days ago, a recon team, fellow specops like yourselves, went MIA. They were on a routine recon op, to see how the Eastern Contenient was dealing with it's last war. As you know, this war endded 2 months ago, when two of the nations, the Al Village and the Il Village, went to blows over a local resource. It ended in a truce when their ninja and samurai found the resource was gone. No one, not even us, knows what happen to it. The recon team's helo was on it's way back over the Sae Village, when they suddenly dropped off the radar. 3 hours ago, we got this:
STATIC
"You sure this thing is working?
"It should be, at least one-way... I can't even pick up any radio signals, and I know we're just within range of the nearest satlink."
"If you say so Corporal. Come in command, this is Recon Alpha Lima 1 Actual. We were shot down over a forest near Sae Village, but by what means, we don't know. Near was we can tell, it may have been one of those crazy things the locals ninja are capable of. Everyone in hte crew and team survived the landing. We're att- What the hell was that sound?"
"Beats me Cap..."
"Fan out, make sure this location is secure!"
"Yes sir."
"Gods I hope it was nothing..."
Gunshots
"s**t! THEY'RE ALL OV-!!"
sounds of combat erupt
"IF ANYONE IS GETTING THIS, WHOEVER DID THIS IS BACK! THEY'RE NOT TAKING PRISIONERS!! REPEA-"
something thuds as the voice cuts off
"Is that the last of them?"
"Yes my lord. The westerners are all dead. Your orders?"
"Destroy everything. Leave no traces behind. They mustn't know we or this vile bastards were ever here..."
"As you command, my lord"
The first thing they get rid of is the radio, so we have no idea who, or even what these people are. Your to work with a team from the various Villages, and find out who did this. Wheels are up at 1030 hours in two days.
Dismissed.

SETTING:
Ok, this is an idea I recently got, and thought of trying.
On a fictional world, two contenients developed entirely different cultures. The Eastern, went much in the way of Japan, with strong sense of honor, and developed many of the things we tend to see in ninja movies/anime, minus the modern tech.
The Western, went the way of our world, climbing up hte technological tree, growing more and more advanced.
The Western Conteninent knew, for several centuries, of the existance of the Eastern Coneninent, but refused to interact with them, for the time being. At least, that was the offical statement. Secretly, both sides were in communications with each other, primarily through military organizations and teh highest level of governments, and that has continued to this day.
The Western Alliance is the government of hte West, running much like a United Nations, but with more authority.
The East has no unified government, still in a clan system, each clan attempting to prove itself the strongest. Currently, all the Clans are equal in power, and have equal number of soldiers and ninja.
However, there is a third faction involved in all of this, but that is all you get free.
During the RP, you will be either a member of hte Western Alliance SOCOM, or a Ninja from one of the Eastern Clans. Depending on which you pick will limit your loadout and skill sets. Your mission is to find out what happened to the WA Recon team, and who is behind the attack.

Nations and Clans:
For the Western Alliance, I am basing each of the Nations on real world nations, so that you know what equipment, rank structure, and uniform they use, now, you can add to this, by giving me a nation name, and the country they're based on.
For the Eastern Clans, I'm basing them off elements, since I personally do not have much knowledge on feudal Japan clans to base them off of.
Western Alliance:
Grado Republic (BASE: Germany)
Empire of Sphria (BASE: Russia)
United States of Cinnibar (BASE: USA)
The Kingdom of Shrona (BASE: UK)
The Eastern Clans:
Sum Village (Water)
Fir Village (Dark)
Fis Village (Light)
Il Village (Mist)
Keth Village (Wind)
Koeh Village (Earth)
Sae Village (Wood)
Von Village (Ice)

#1: FOLLOW THE TOS!
#2: My word is law... Unless I delegate some power to others in order to assist me, Mine is the final word on hte rules breaking! (unless they are a mod for the guild or site, then theirs is the final word)
#3: Standard RP rules apply, don't know 'em, look at other RPs, they tend to use a lot of similar statements.
#4: PM ALL PROFILE TO ME TITLED EITHER 'West' OR 'East', otherwise, you are a no-go on RPing.

Mission Status:
Currently, the Western Alliance Team is getting set-up for the trip to hte Eastern Conteninent, while the Ninja's from the Eastern Clans are preparing to meet in Sae Village to await to arrival of hte outsiders.
