The Nest of Maggots is a place in Seireitei which serves as a prison under the supervision of the third corps of the OnmitsukidÅ, also known as the Detention Unit. On the inside, it resembles a cave with an area for prisoners. When a Shinigami becomes a potential danger to other Shinigami and Soul Society itself, then that Shinigami is brought to the Maggot's Nest for imprisonment, even if that Shinigami was not put on trial; this is to ensure that no danger will be brought to Soul Society. Most prisoners are not held inside a cell (since they cannot set foot outside the prison), with the exception the Maggot's Nest's most infamous former resident: Mayuri Kurotsuchi, considered at the time an exceptionally dangerous person.
Neither the staff of the Detention Unit, who are called jailers, nor any other visitors are permitted to carry a ZanpakutÅ into the Maggot's Nest; visotors must deposit them at the entrance. This measureme means that the jailers are required to be able to control the prisoners with bare hands.

As she walked through the hallways leading to the Nest of Maggots each guard she passed up, bowed her head in respect for the Zero Division Captain. She continued to walk with her chin held high as if she hadn't noticed them at all. In front of her, the Taicho of squad 5 Soma was bound by cuffs held by a tangible staff. When they approached the prison chambers, she escorted the man to his quarters where he would stay put until further notice. Just before he could enter, two guards blocked the way as they searched the man's body. Any unnecessary items or objects that were located on him were swiped away. The last particular thing they had taken from him was both Zanpaktou that he wielded. Once this was done, the two guards handed both zanpaktou to another guard who disappeared into the darkness. Afterwards they locked the man away within his cells. As most would know these cells hold certain spiritual barriers that nullifies any use of spirit energy of any form inside. "He will wait here until the trial begins. Make sure he is well kept and that food and water is supplied to the suspect." She said leaving the two main guards to guard the man's cell. With that done she passed up the other 50 guards down the hallway and exited the prison.

Soma sat down in the area of his cell. As Soma sat there he started to think about everything that happened. Kazei had set him up, and he figured it out to late. Soma started thinking about the different situations that he could think of how he could get out of this trial. In the end Soma was being used for other criminals to get away. Soma smiled as he looked at all of the guards. Soma then spoke to himself.
"It seems that Im going to be here for a while. I think it would be better for me to think of a way to kill Kazei and his crew."

Division 5 - Seat 3 Entering into the prison, Yin looked to all the guards. He unstraped his Zanpakuto and gave to the Guard that was there to take it. As Yin told one of the guards to take him to Soma, Yin glanced at others that where here. As he came upon Soma's Cell he looked at him not saying anything for he did not know what to say. Yin queitly stood there waiting for his captains words.

"I see they have us both caught. I guess we're both caught. I didn't do anything so I know I'm innocent. If I'm innocent then there's nothing to worry about." A familiar voice creeped out not far from Soma in the next cell over. Oruga sat where he was far in the corner of his own cell with his hands at his lap. They had already healed his wounds and they were starting to close up by now. He had turned himself in far before they had to even find Soma. He could only hope central 46 would be more merciful had he turned himself in instead of letting others find him. I'm going to kill Kazei when I get out of here for sure, he won't get away with this. To make matters worst the only reason Delosuke had joined his squad was to steal secrets. And now he had taken everything except one thing. But if he was to be executed it wouldn't matter. He could only hope things would go in his own favor.

I Hear the Wilds, I Place My Trust In Them. "You're quite a popular guy today, Soma-dono. First Zero-dono, and now Yin. Ah crap." Takashi sighed as he turned and sat, back leaning against the cell bars. He was relaxed, legimamently... and so it began. He turned his head back to half-look at Soma. "You want some sake? It was OKed by the guards. I Am The Feral Inbodiment, None Can Stop Me

Rednal calmly set his Zanpakuto down in the appropriate area as he strode into the area, pausing for a moment to let them confirm his 'identity' as Gilgamesh, a member of Tenth Division, and thus Internal Investigations. Taking his writing materials with him, he looked around the prisoner's area for a moment before heading over to the area of the cells instead and taking a seat on a stool between the two cells where he could see into both of them. "Good afternoon, Captain Sodai, Captain Inuzaya. My name is Gilgamesh, and I've been assigned to this case from Internal Investigations. Do either of you have a statement you'd like to make to the courts?" Though technically interrogation, this was probably the lightest form of it possible except for taking a statement when they were walking around freely. The Courts would want a statement from them, after all, and somebody needed to get it.

(POST PERTAINS TO ALL, Please Read)Outside the prison a large explosion could be heard as one of the entrance guards would come running down to inform all below of an intruder. In front of the prison a lone man would be surrounded by the bodies of several guards resting on the ground. None of them were dead, but many of them were now sporting serious wounds. "Soma! Get out here! How dare you take credit for my research!" As he yelled in to the prison the man would hold his hands together as if he was clutching a ball before a sphere of lightning would from in his palms. It was this ball that he would throw at the prison entrance where it would erupt violently, injuring several more guards and anybody that had been near the entrance at the time.
While at first glace the man would be unknown, however somebody from the interrogation squad, hunter squad, or execution squad would know him as Kaentaka Mishima, an ex-shinigame that had been experimenting with Hollow DNA and energy, and had been suspected with the deaths of 3 shinigame, as well as being labeled insane. If anybody knew his report well however, they would know he was an excellent fighter, and much older than he appeared.

...credit for my research. Rednal wrote in his notes. It seemed to be relevant information, and anybody who wanted to know the whole situation would probably want to know what had happened. Which meant more paperwork for 10th Division, of course, as they were going to have to go look up whatever this research was. It might, in fact, be exactly the sort of relevant detail necessary to put everything together, which was excellent. It was always nice when people worked to help Internal Investigations; it made his job so much easier, and he always appreciated that sort of thing.

I Hear the Wilds, I Place My Trust In Them. Takashi was taken back a little. "The hell...?" He placed the sake gourd close enough to the cell that Soma could reach it, and flickered, re-appearing near Kaentaka.
At first glance, the guy looked like a phsyco, but Takashi didn't go based off of first impressions. "You mind keeping it down? Kinda in the middle of something."
He didn't know how approach this new threat; the guy looked strong, but he could very well just be all show. But something bothered Takashi: Kaentaka's works. "How dare you take credit for my research"... if this was true, then...I Am The Feral Inbodiment, None Can Stop Me

(OK, tell me if I'm wrong, but only two people saw the shinigame actualy fall, Soma and Kazei right?) Turning to face the new man Kaen gave a deep frown. "******** shinigame, your with Soma aren't you." It was more of a demand than a question. "You tell that b*****d that if I ever hear of him taking credit for my work again Ill kill him myself!" Clenching his fist Kain pointed his right hand at Takashi. "You tell him that those shinigame were killed at my hand, and that if he ever take credit for my work, then I will kill him!" The man looked crazy, truly insane, but because of his reputation that he was clinically crazy, had killed shinigame before, and that his closed had blood on them that had been spilled recently nobody would doubt that he had done it.
Cracking a grin an arc of lightning sparked up his right arm. "Better yet, bring that b*****d out here so I can tell him myself!" At that time Kaen would release a gigantic amount of spiritual pressure, enough to draw the attention of every captain in the area, and put every one edge for a major fight.

((Rednal's sitting right outside the cell, so HERE he can basically see whatever they can... if that's the situation you mean. )) This should be fun. Rednal thought. He didn't seem particularly worried about the situation; outwardly seeming to trust that the ranking officer in the area that wasn't a prisoner would take care of it. Inwardly, he cared even less; this was an interesting event, and maybe he'd get to see a fun fight. Unlike most entities with power, Rednal felt no obligation to use what he had (or even tell others that he had it; to all the world, he felt like a Shinigami of normal, unimpressive power, and to penetrate the disguise would need a concentrated effort from ranking members of Fourth Division on his still body. He'd gotten very good at hiding his power over the years). Stuff happened, and he was far more content to watch it happen than try to interfere. Still, there might not be too much of a good fight, though. This was a major detention facility, and someone attacking it was unlikely to go unnoticed. Shame the powerful people were locked in the cells and he couldn't open them without giving stuff away. Maybe if he somehow got the intruder to come into the cells and blast them open, then pretend to be too injured to move so he could watch them fight? That might be fun.

(No, where Kazei murdered the two shinigame in the human world. Only Soma and Kazei really know the truth on that, or that's as far as I know, I could be wrong.)

Soma noticed his 3rd seat Yin had come to see him. It was something but, Soma wanted to know something else from Yin.
"So Yin, were is Shadow. Also how is the the investigation going."
Soma then heard Oruga's voice and said with a calm voice towards Oruga.
"Im glad you turned yourself in Oruga, sorry but, you didn't do anything wrong to be placed in here you know. So why get yourself placed in here with me."
Soma then looked at Takashi and agreed to have Saki with him.
"So Takashi, I hear you have become the next 11th Division Captain. It must be an honor Takashi."
Soma looked at Rednal but, before he could say anything to him Kaen appeared busting through the place killing the guards. To Soma, Kaen was a coward to come to this place and start shooting out demands for people to follow as if they were dogs.
