Have you read up on teh scanalations? In some of the title pages, Enel is presented as going to the moon and saving a race of tiny mole-like creatures who all wear early 19th Century archaeological gear. It's very funny.

I have read those, but to me its more of a coincidence. He just happens to blow up all the right s**t on the moon and earns himself an army of tiny little mole men, who in subtext aren't all that strong anyways.
