Placing a Guild, as i have been doing throughout Stir Jades, requires some imagination. For obvious reasons is because some guilds like the Thieves and Shadow Guilds need a cover name because of the sometimes criminal or dark nature of the things they do. Other times it is just nice to have a place that isnt so plain and a name can eliminate that plainness.
If your going to put a guild somewhere, and im talking to the crew though maybe later i will allow other guilds to be created by members, i suggest remembering certain things like the landmarks of your kingdom and the terrain. Examples of this is that Ricell has a Thieves Guild because of its casinos and constant large amount of money throughout its kingdom and a Ranger's Guild would be ideal for a kingdom that has plenty of nature.
