((It just snowed here again, and a nice summer RP is kind of wishful thinking xD )) 
Roaming around in the sunlight, Nuthatch looked behind him to see several others frolicking outside the warren this day. The air was sweet with ripening fruit and flowers, and of course the view of lovely does sunbathing was just as beautiful. Grinning to himself, he nosed among the grass, searching for the best roots a little distance from the others; hoping to find something particularly tasty.

 It was Hawthorn's favoruite kind of day, warm sun, it made lazing around so great. He had even found a rather nice patch of food, was a good day. So he sat back, ate a little and watched as the rabbits moved about from a distance. He was never the most social of creatures so he tended to, on most days just watched the interactions between the other members of the warren.
Today was different though, see how it was such a good day for him, he was feeling a little more social. He noticed another buck not all too far from him, sniffing around, Hawthorn assumed he was looking for food.
"There is some good stuff over here," he said softly though loud enough for the other buck to hear and gestured to the patch of ground in front of him.

He straightened, his ears perking and rotating to catch the buck's voice. Seizing up the dark buck with the light markings, he remembered seeing him in the warren. He couldn't recall a name though. Nose twitching, he looked to the flayrah, and then back to the buck. Shifting a bit closer, he slowly moved closer, making sure it was alright.
"Are you sure?"
He nosed the offered greenery, but didn't eat until he'd gotten the go ahead. Nuthatch wasn't quite sure if this buck was Owsla and testing him or something like that.

Hawthorn gave a nod, "Yes, I'm sure."
As the light brown buck moved closer, Hawthorn tensed unintentionally. He knew he was the one who had invited the other over but it was habit. So he relaxed himself again quickly and moved back a little to allow the other more access to the food.

He was lounging about, again, which wasn't something out of the usual for the hefty, spotted rabbit.
Cowslip had a fresh, green shoot of grass hanging from his little, bucktoothed maw and his one dappled ear flicked to the side lazily as he surveyed the area with sleep-hazed silver eyes. He was at complete ease, as he had noted no predators of the air and any creature would be easily spotted from their perch at the top of the hill, and it was during this ease that his mind was wandering.
It would be at least eight moons, now, that he had left the farm that he had been born and raised on. His two siblings had opted to stay behind and it was only he that left the human warren.
What became of them? He couldn't help but to be curious.

Sensing distress at first, he looked up at the generous buck and sniffed. There was nothing odd about him, so perhaps he was just the loner sort. Running a paw over his ear momentarily, he sat up before saying anything.
"Why thank you, it's always nice to come across Flayrah now and again. I'll remember this, and do you a good turn when I'm able."
The serious moment over, he grinned lopsidedly before tearing off a leaf and nibbling gingerly. Ahhh, this was the stuff. Making short work of the greenery, he swallowed and winked at the other buck.
"This is the life, am I right?"
