Does any one know how to sew old fashioned clothing? I'm a beginner...but I have no idea on sewing patterns and the such...

Have you checked out the Simplicity, McCall's and Butterick patterns? A lot of those are pretty basic.
Is there any time period in particular you want to start off making clothes for? If you let us know we can point you in the right direction.
