Ok so I have a grand rp idea. The setting is in Waterdeep (for now) it is right after *sorry spoiler alert* the fall of Luskan but that has been declared in all FR lore anyway. I want it to be an all races *BUT DROW!* welcome because despite my affection for drizzt he is one of only two non chaotic evil drow in history ever. and we just wont go there. So, dwarven, human, gnomish, elvish, barbarian, even half orc and half ogre are welcome.
Classes include: Swashbuckler(sailor, pirate), fighter(soldier), mage, thief(rogue), priest(cleric), bard, ranger,
*Note each class has prestige classes to go with it and have to be earned over time only leaders of the RP could open for a prestige class, for example I will have a Sea Captain which is about the idea of high end sailing and fighting. Like Deudermont*
three social classes
High
Medium
Low
*note each separate class fits into those appropriately a mage would be rich and thief and ranger not so much.*
*magic items come with ability and money and title. but some room is allowed take note you can't be like wulfgar and have an untarnishable returning hammer. it'd be more reasonable if you just had return and not keen or unbreaking with that. enchantments in reality are expensive haha*
but anyway. everyone is fleeing to waterdeep. Pirates are at a high. bandits and raiders are ever present. swindlers are pushing up from calimport. can you survive.

Spoilers (such as the one posted within the first line of the first post), need to be coloured in white, so that people (like me) who haven't gotten that far don't have important things revealed for them.

So, I decided to do this quick post. Here's how you do it:
1. Type something around the words of, "HINT SPOILER AHEAD"
2. Type spoiler
3. Put spoiler in WHITE FONT COLOR. ^_^Here's an example So when Catte-brie gets stuck/is fainted in the Nine Hells Dimension thing and the dimension door is closing, *SPOILER* Drizzt checks her pulse and ends up kissing her!!! and then throws her up on his shoulders/or in his arms and runs into and through the doorway that Wulfgar is keeping open by his inhuman strength.*END SPOILER* Can you believe that? He's like in his 30's and she's like 16 or 17!!! ~Yagi_Yuki / Midnight_Ruins~ The star thing didn't help anyway in your case, because it was after the spoiler. Otherwise I wouldn't have read it.

I would love to do this but I got 2 questions
1. Could you combine 2 of the classes? ex. Robillard a pirate mage, that just seemed fun to me, plus change up the race it might be entertaining.
2. Shouldn't this go in the rp subforum?

No, I don't think it has to go into the RP forum until it's actually an RP. But I'm not sure. Yuki will know.
The combining of two classes is called Gestalt, and it's a very overpowered variant rule in Unearthed Arcana. I don't recommend anyone using it.
Unless of course you mean making up a class of your own, which might combine attributes of, say, the Swashbuckler and the Sorcerer. But it's not my RP, just a suggestion.

Onibaku wanted this to be a RP in Waterdeep. If people actually want to participate, then this needs to be moved to the RP forum.
Also, the *** plus white font is because we have some members who haven't read past Legacy of the Drow. ^_^
