And since there will be 25, it is to know who could be the other entries "from the past". I tried to make a little list, just for fun:

Trish Stratus
Lita
Sunny
Sable
Ashley Massaro (side note: THANK GOD!)
Stacy Keibler
Molly Holly
Gail Kim
Ivory
Kat
Victoria
Jazz
Chyna (though I REALLY doubt)
Jackie Gayda
Mae Young
Wendi Ritcher
Lelani Kai
Tori
Velvet McIntyre
Rockin' Robin
Alundra Blayze (Would be cool, she was a pretty good Women's champion)
Debra
Jacqueline
Luna Vachon
Torrie Wilson

Jacqueline can't, she's under contract with TNA still. I also highly doubt we'll see Alundra Blayze, a.k.a. Madusa, due to her mistreatment of the Women's Title when she debuted on Nitro

Former WWE and WCW talent, Madusa, wrote the following on her official site in regards to her appearing at WrestleMania 25 next month: "Not at this time have I been in contact, but there sure seems to be alot of rumors floating around about that and inducting me in the hall of fame. Again, I have not been contacted officially. All sounds good though, never say never in entertainment."

Amy "Lita" Dumas has emailed fans via her MySpace.com account to announce that despite rumors, she will not be making any sort of appearance at the WrestleMania 25 event-weekend. She will, however, be involved with Booker T's "Legends of Wrestling Fanfest" convention for charity on April 3rd.

Ditto With Molly Holly: "The former WWE Diva and Women’s Champion has declined the offer to appear at Wrestlemania 25. While she has respect for the company, Holly says she’s finished with the in-ring aspect of the sport. Holly will however be signing autographs on ‘Mania weekend."

Two more former WWE Divas in Nora "Molly Holly" Greenwald and Terri Runnels will not be taking part in the 25-Diva Battle Royal at WrestleMania XXV in Houston.

While Greenwald has no plans to participate in the match, she will be signing autographs at the Axxess event during WrestleMania weekend. In other Greenwald news, she will be departing on Monday for a two-week trip to Afghanistan.

Runnels has plans to join Greenwald on the trip as she will be taking part in the 10-day Divas of Wrestling Goodwill Military Tour. Regarding the 25-Diva Battle Royal at WrestleMania, Runnels has no interest in wrestling women.

"Female matches are not my thing," Runnels commented.

Runnels still has WrestleMania-related plans though. Following the trip to Afghanistan, she will be hosting an unofficial WrestleMania XXV event during WrestleMania weekend in Taylor, Michigan.

While many former women's wrestlers have been contacted to participate in the 25-Diva Battle Royal at Wrestlemania XXV in Houston, WWE Hall of Famer Mae Young has not (at last word).

Young wasn't even aware of such a match until a friend of hers called and asked her if she was going to be in it.

It's been speculated that after her fall during her last wrestling appearance in November (she threw a few forearms, got dizzy, and fell down), officials are now realizing she's far too old to perform in the ring. Young is 86-years-old for those keeping score.

Nonetheless, Young will likely be brought in during WrestleMania weekend because she always is — she just won't be competing.

This one was evident. She always said she wasn't a wrestler and won't try to pretend she's one. (Some Divas on the roster should take example on her...)

But, there is somehting I'd like to point out: Why would they even announce the match if they didn't have their 25 Divas? With that thought, I'm starting to think some of the announcements might be fake ones.

Former WWE Diva Sunny aka Tammy Sytch has confirmed herself for an appearance at WrestleMania 25 as part of the 25 Diva battle royal.

Sunny, who worked for WWE between 1993 and 1998, changed her Facebook status to: “is getting ready to kick some DIVA a** at Wrestlemania!!”

Sytch also appeared at the 15th anniversary of Raw in December 2007, her first appearance for the company in nearly 10 years. Following this appearance, there was some talk about bringing her back full time, though this never materialised.
