I will start now.
Marketplace
Well here is the first thing to do in the marketplace.
There are two main tabs/windows you'll need open.
The first is All listings :: Ending soon.
The second is All Listings :: Just added.
Basically all you have to do is keep refreshing and look for some good deals you can make a steal on, on either tab.
If you don't have a good knowledge of the items this is alot harder and you may want to give yourself extra time to find out about them by going a couple of pages back.
Alot of people misprice items if you refresh on just added then you may spot one and even pick up a huge profit.
By checking on ending soon you may be able to see place bid prices which are really cheap and you could put in a quick bid to possibly get that item.
It is a bit confusing explanation but if you understand it, it will help you alot.

Stores
Basically stores kind of link in with the Marketplace.
If you find a store item selling for less than half there gaia store price then you can buy it and sell it to the store for more money, therefore making you a profit.
Most people will know this but if you don't you do now smile

Forums
Forums and topic are one of the main ways to earn money from forums, posting, voting and even competitions.
Firstly posting :: I think you must make at least 100 gold or just less for posting 3 times. So make sure you post everytime you come on even if it's just a random post in the chatterbox.
Second Voting :: If you vote you make 14 gold, it may not seem alot but it takes and few seconds and it's better than no gold at all.
Third Competitions :: Competitions in forums may seem like a waste of time, but trust me if you find the right one, they are GREAT. You just have to be smart enough to pick the right competition, when they are stupidly difficult then don't waste your time doing them, here are some common competitions on dice rolls (They are the easiest):
Roll 4, 4 sided dice and get 16 (1/4 chance of getting it)
Roll 6, 6 sided dice and get 36 (1/6 chance of getting it)
Roll 10, 10 sided dice and get 90 + or 10 - (20% chance of winning)
These are the only common ones I can think of at this moment. I'm afraid I have to take a break.

Quests
Do all the quests you can, as many times as you can, if you don't then you can be missing out on some serious money.
Events
This is by far the easiest way I make money is by events, at the 2k7 halloween I made over 100k for that event. Make sure you do the event on the first day and the second day, they will ALWAYS sell, and the more you sell on those days, the more you will get during the middle you won't get that much and just after and on the end day will pick up the prices again.
Round Up
Basically, take every oppertunity that you can to make money, events, quests, forums and even commenting, and if you have the money enter contests or if you can draw art and auction it off.
Tips
Always do daily chances
Have at least two mules
Do daily chances on all accounts
Most of all post daily for that 50gold a day.

market place isnt that good because gaia now takes a cut of your money ,.... so you should just go into the store forum and sell the item you want to sell so that all of the gold your selling it for goes to you

not a good idea to go through the store. They only give you 50% of the items net worth, not to mention the net worth is what Gaia thinks it is. Go through the marketplace. you set your own prices.
