Dritan had heard lots of things about the mall from his brother Drez and was excited that he would be getting to go. Once getting there Drez and Tarth had wandered off on there own as Drez need to find something to give to his dragon once it hatched and Tarth when along to keep Drez out of trouble. Val and Dritan headed for the clothing shops as he needed some more clothing that could be customized for his wings to fit through and with out them tearing it off themselfs.
His wings preocupied on trying to catch every sound and smell, as to find if there was anything that might be good to eat. Val knew what Dri's wings were looking for and make sure to avoid anyplace that would have things to eat if she could. Walking towards one clothing stores as one of his wings started to beg for something to eat and started to lightly chew on his sleave. "Stop that," he said to the wing as he gave it a poke. "If you are all good I will get something for you'll to eat" Dritan said to his wings and it stopped but till contuned to look around.

Generally, Bernard disliked malls, and the crowds that went along with them. So far, he'd provided for the boys with what he had at home, and from local stores. But it quickly became evident that Teyr wore through his clothes quickly, and needed more than just a couple of articles, so Bernard sucked it in and took Teyr clothes shopping.
For his part, Teyr was terrified. Zwei, not being a big fan of clothing, had refused to come. So it was just him and Bernard, and while Teyr was fond of the man, he was also somewhat afraid of his sternness. Worse still, the place was full of people. At first Teyr tried not to look at them, but that made him bump into a few. After that, he looked at everyone to make sure he stayed out of the way.
It was then that he saw someone- probably a bit younger than him- with what had to be the coolest wings Teyr had ever seen. "Wow!" he exclaimed. Then, as if he'd done something wrong, he clapped his hands over his mouth. "Sorry!" he said through them. "Sorry!"

Dritan was so up for the new experence as he loved to watch people and see how they reacted to the things around them. Sometimes his own wings didn't want to just watch things go by them as they wanted explore and eat things. But would do what Dritan wanted if food was promised after words. He also wanted to get some more clothing that would match his wings.
His wings knowing when someone what commiting on them all turned to see who had said it and they saw the boy and three of them smiled as they loved the attention, tho one would never let you know it like the attention too and kept its grumpy look. Dritan stopped walking and turned around as he knew what his wings had spoted and walked closer to the other boy as his mother hung back paciently waiting. "It's ok, they like the attention," he stated as his affenction wing gave Dritan some affection. "I'm Dritan," he said with a friendly smile on his face.

As the wings smiled- smiled!- at Teyr, he slowly lowered his hands, revealing a gaping mouth. He'd thought they were just scaly wings, but they had faces on them! "How do they do that?" he asked, and then covered his mouth again. Why was he asking all these questions! That wasn't polite.
But it looked like the boy didn't mind, so Teyr relaxed slightly and lowered his hands again. "Sorry," he said. "Very cool! Never seen wings like that before!"

Giggleing as it was something of a simmular reaction he had gotten from his brother, Drez. But there had been more nibbleing and petting and giggles from everyone. "They do it on there own." he replied trying to think of something else he could say about them, but right now couldn't.
"Its ok, I'm use to it." he said as he always got weard looks from people when they saw his wings move in not natural wing motions. "They are, but sometimes they can be trouble when they really want things to eat or just to get me into trouble,"

On their own? Teyr thought about this. His wings occasionally twitched when he wasn't thinking about it, but if he focused, he could control them like any other part of his body. But it didn't sound like this boy's wings were like that. He frowned, trying to put his question into words, and only managed to move his mouth soundlessly.
Then he heard the part about "things to eat" and perked up right away. "Hungry?" he asked, reaching into his pocket. Even though he knew Bernard frowned on it, Teyr always kept a supply of peppermint candy with him, and he pulled out a few pieces. "Here," he offered, handing one over, and unwrapping one for himself. He could go for one too. "Is good!"

Dritan hardly had any control over his wings unless he really thought about it then he could move them on his own. He smiled as he sorta knew what the other was thinking. "But if I really think hard about it I can move them on my own and each of them also has a diffrent personality," he said hope that it would answer his unsaid question.
Well he wasn't hungry right now and neather were his wings which was a good thing, but Dritan wasn't going to pass up a peppermint. Talking it from Teyr and then unwrapping it quickly before his wings knew what it was, but he did bite down on it breaking little pieces and giving one to each of his wings. "Yes it is," he said. "Thanks you," he said as he didn't know the others name. "Also I'm Dritan," he added once more.

The more Teyr heard, the more confused he got. It sounded like each of the faces had its own mind, but how was that possible? Then again, surely the boy knew his own wings. Unable to come up with a good reply, he simply nodded again. "Very cool."
Grinning, he popped the other candy into his mouth. "Welcome," he said happily. "Am Teyr. Is nice to meet you, Dritan." As per the usual routine, he offered his hand- trying to be exceptionally polite, with Bernard's eye on him. "Here for clothes?" he asked. As far as Teyr knew, a mall was just a really big clothes store with a restaurant in the middle.

"Its nice to meet you as well," he replied with a smile and shook Teyrs hand with his own to be polite as well. As each of his wings bobbed as there way of introducing themselfs. "Yep we are. Something new for the comming seasons and easly modified for my wings." he said pointing to one of the department stores that was close to them, that had clothes for all ages of boys. "So I take it your here for the same thing?"

Teyr smiled shyly, nodding to each of the wings so he wouldn't inadvertently leave anyone out. When he was finished, he nodded knowingly. Clothes were a bit difficult for him as well, though usually his wings just poked out between his pants and shirt, or over the sides of his looser overalls. Still, certain garments had to be tailored, and he could imagine that Dritan's clothing had to be special indeed.
"Yes," he said finally. "Keep tearing clothes." He didn't mean to, but if Zwei did something, Teyr felt he had to as well, which usually resulted in scraped elbows and knees and lots of holes in clothes. "And don't have many," he added. "Need more, yes?"
Bernard, who had been thinking of other things, looked at the boys and blinked several times. "What? Oh, yes." He frowned, bushy eyebrows touching the tops of his glasses. "You go through clothes far too quickly. It's all very well and good for Zwei, since he just gets the scrapes and none of the holes, but- well, never mind it," he added hastily, seeing Teyr get ready to apologize. "Do you want to look through the store with- er, what was your name?"
"Sorrysorry," Teyr murmured. "Is Dritan. Yes, please?" He looked hopefully at the other boy. Shopping would be less scary if he could do it with someone else.

"It happens, I just get mine very dirty from various art activities," he said smileing as some of the stains were from him, but some also came from his wings trying to help. "I don't as well, tho going shirtless isn't all that bad. For the most part my older brother dosen't wear any clothing and if he does its just a T-shirt.
Dritan looked at his mother with big puppy eyes for going shoping with his new friend. All that Val could do was smile and shake her head. "Yes you can Dri. I will follow behind," he said as she turned to Teyr's parent. "I'm Val by the way," she said with a smile as well.
"Come on Teyr, lets go find some clothing," he said waveing for Teyr to follow him into the department store.

"Like art? Me too!" Though it wasn't his favorite activity, Teyr enjoyed art projects as much as the next person. He liked more hands on stuff like sculpting and finger painting better than drawing, and all of those could be quite messy, he could see why Dritan would need new clothes.
So he had a brother too. They had a lot in common, it seemed! "Brother doesn't wear clothes, ever ever. Is also older brother! Dritan brother not need clothes too? Even shirts?" Or maybe the brother didn't like art?
It seemed that Teyr was sufficiently distracted from his anxiety, at least for the moment. A hint of a smile appeared on Bernard's face as he turned to the boy's guardian. "Bernard North. A pleasure, Miss Val. Have you been to this store before? I'm liable to get lost in such a place."
Teyr hesitated for a moment before running after Dritan. "Coming!"

"Sometime you should come over!" He said excitedly "I think that you might like playing clay and makeing all sorta of things like beads," he added thinking of all the fun things they could do.
"No he doesn't need them at all," he said trying to think of a way to describe his brother. "Well he is all snakey from head to tail and he has been teaching me how to make beads from clay," As he remembered the first time they both had done that activity and when they were all done they both were dirty from head to tail and had much fun.
"Its nice to meet you, Bernard and just Val is just fine." she said with a smile. "I have. I have taken my other son here to find things he wanted. With me you wont, but if we don't hurry I think we are going to be left behind," she said as she pointed that Dritan was leading Teyr to the right place. "Also Dritan know were he is going, so don't worry."
With Teyr following him now he lead him to the part of the store were there clothing would be.

"Clay?" That was a toy that Teyr had never played with, and he looked up at Bernard for an explanation.
"It's a soft substance you can mold into various shapes. When baked, it becomes hard," Bernard supplied. It was also extremely messy, which was why he hadn't gotten the boys any.
"Ohhhhh. Sounds like fun! Would like to try." Teyr was used to making things out of paper, but not out of something soft and squishy that got hard. Maybe he could make presents out of it that wouldn't break when they got wet!
As Dritan described his brother, Teyr got even more excited. "Zwei is like snake too! He doesn't know clay, but we do paper things and heroes and swords together!" Now he was convinced that their brothers had to meet sometime. They obviously had a lot in common. "Can all do something together maybe?"
"Indeed. Ladies first, then." Bernard gestured with his free hand, indicating that Val should go before him. After all, he had no clue where they were going.

"Its a lot of fun. Once the clay is hard, you get to paint it with a special paint that comes in all different colors that once its gets fired it makes your clay object colorful, shiny and looks glass-like." he said as he thought of all the diferent things he could show Teyr and to how much fun it would be.
"That sounds like a lot of fun. Sometime you and your brother should come over to have lots of fun," Dritan said as he looked at his mother and she gave him the nod yes that they could come over sometime if there own parent let them. "Well if your father would be ok with it," he said as he so wanted Teyr and his brother to come over as it was written all over his face.
"Thank you," she said to Bernard as she walked through the door. "Don't get to far ahead of us Dri," she said as she was heading in the drection of the boys clothing section.
"Ok I wont," he replied as he steared Teyr into the right drection to were there type of clothing would be.
