Well Eleven actually! xd I've been drawing up these little figures for months and months and I'm finally happy with them... I think. Anyway this is a little gathering of them all cos I haven't put anything in the picture gallery for aaaaaaages:

I have now finished at uni and am back home in Scottieland. This is why I now have time to sneak back onto Gaia... Mwa ha ha...
As for 9... I just wanted an angry Doctor in there. Plus I needed an excuse for 11 to be hanging around. Waiting for his cue! Ha. I'm determined to like him you know, no matter what he's like.

Yeah, I read through some of that 1st interview in DWM this month (at least, this month to US readers). Sounds like he has a nice personality. But why on Earth did they choose to introduce him to us looking like an emo goth vampire boy?? mad

Emo goth vampire boys are in. You can blame Twilight for that - on the other hand I do love a bit of gothic sci fi so I'm hopeful.
As long as he doesn't whinge. I couldn't stand that.
Oh and I missed being here too. If only I was better at multi-tasking I could have been back ages ago.

But that's the thing...since when is the Doctor ever in style?
he should have made his first appearance looking rather eccentric.
Syl didn't have his full outfit when the first pics of him were in DWG--and the only reason the hat was there was 'cause it was always HIS hat from the start! But what we saw was still essentially Doctorish.
So I'm just saying that's a really bad way to let us see 11 the first time. That's the impression he'll leave on us for months.

One time I saw a picture of Eleven with the brainy specs on and I must say he looked very much like Fivey.
Can't wait to see what he ends up wearing. I hope it's tasteless because the new Doctors seem to have a thing for slightly more conventional wear.

Thanks! I've been watching the Fifth Doctor episodes from Castrovalva onwards this week so you know... had to draw something. You know my fav thing about the Fifth Doctor? Not always but a lot of the time he talks in a really low, older male voice and yet his face looks so young! It's quite mind-bending. T3h Phantom LORD I hope it's tasteless because the new Doctors seem to have a thing for slightly more conventional wear. Oh I KNOW! I hope so too! I know they won't though, from the promotional stills alone he looks depressingly sensible... and you know sensible looks terrible as a cartoon! It's not fair.

Somebody should shop him into Six's coat. That'd be a laugh.
Somehow, I have a feeling that the Doctor has finally gotten a minor grasp of controlling his regenerations, and because Ten loved being Fivey, he's going to try and look a bit like him and miserably fail except for the hair style (even that is mirrored) and seeming much older than he looks.
Ah, the joy of speculation.

I wish they'd at least given 11 some kind of period dress, it wouldn't have to be extravagant just something a little bit unusual. Part of the Doctor's charm is that he shouldn't just 'fit in' like 9 and 10 have.

I suspect that was a reaction to JNT's tendency to make his Doctors wear COSTUMES instead of OUTFITS. Sticking ??????? all over everything in such a blatant fashion, especially.
It isn't bad if they kind of look normal, if there's some little weird, eccentric touches that might make you blink and do a double-take if you saw someone dressed like that on the street. Like, there was 10 in his pinstripe suit, yet also wearing red high-top sneakers. And the enormously long coat is a tad unusual. 9 though, he really wasn't eccentric at all. Since he wasn't feeling that way, I suppose it would've been out of character in his case. But 11 definitely needs to get back to the subtle, amusing, fun eccentricities.
