I don't know if its up on the site yet or not but I went to a Wolf Howl the other night and Laurell made the announcement that she had signed over the rights to a Guilty Pleasures movie. altho i know its not going to happen i think that jean claude should be played by stuard townsend. :::drools::: his voice is perfect and he looks yummy too.

what?! nooo he couldn't be jason if his life depended on it. jean-claude maybe. so they really are making a movie? finally! if she's writing the script it must be good, she wouldn't sabatoge her own characters. i cant wait to see who plays jason but all signs point to Marcous (the model) for top choice of richard! be still my beating heart! eekblaughroflredface

if they base if solely off the first book then Jason and Richard wont even been in it. But Phillip will and Jean Claude. I dont know who they would cast for either of them though... It's just so hard to imagin anyone that good looking. All I have to stay is that they better not get some really tall actress to play Anita. That would annoy the heck out of me. but yeah, Laurell herself said they were making it so HECK YEAH!

xd I just can't picture Townsend as Jean-Claude....Somehow he just doesn't appear to be...vampirey to me even though I've seen him in Queen of the Damned (he so screwed that part up!)
I just imagine him playing Jason....that is if they really do bring all the books out into film. <.<; My daddy would shoot me for seeing them but I'd be stealing my best friend to go watch the stuff *Grins*
If they cast known actors in any of the roles... I will be disappointed. I'll see it anyway, naturally, but I will be disappointed.

She signed over the rights?! eekxp The only time she said she'd do that is if she was able to make final decisions and write scripts and stuff. Which means... YAY!
On another note... Perhaps we should get off the casting topic... we ended up finding lots of viable options that people fought over, and we've already beaten our various male choices to death... meany times... in other REALLY LONG topics. Just a suggestion. *pets own Jean-Claude plushie*

i really hope they dont use townsend as jason that would be soo screwed up. he couldn't pull off a jason to save his life, jean claude is a big maybe. you know who every they cast for jean claude wont compare to the one we all have in our minds and hearts and we'll all get a big let down any way.
