Currently suffering from: Unrequited love.
I'm contradiction carnated. I always get high scores on projects, and love doing them, but wait until the last moment to start working. I yell at you for cheating but shoot a few free-shots myself. I tell you not to touch me, but I poke you three times just for fun. There is no other way to describe me.
I tend to be obsesive over things that I do. Like PLs... Do you not see the freaking drawing that announces this journal!? All that work just for a journal banner! |D Yet at the same time I can't obsess over things like music or movies or people. Except one boy. redface

That is if someone else is unwilling, or unable, to step up. He knows his place well. Alem is also very protective. Whether it is a friend, an adoptive family member, or an almost complete stranger, Alem is willing to defend them. He is also a normally honest character. He only knows that his dad had cheated on his mate with Alem’s mother. Both of these lionesses got pregnant around the same time. When the cubs were born the jerk took Alem’s siblings and intergraded into his real mate’s litter.
That left Alem alone with his mother, whom he looked the most like. She decided to find a new home for herself and her son, so they started on a trek through the desert. It was the easiest way to escape the lion who had wronged them, after all.
Throughout their journey, Alem could only watch as his mother got weaker and weaker. She was used to plush lands and cool air, but the desert offered none of these. When finally she could go no further, she urged her son to continue anyways. She wanted Alem to find a place to call home. So he continued on, with her memory in his heart.

 Name: Halyn Meaning: Unlike Another [American] Nicknames: Hal, Lyn Orientation: Heterosexual Personality: Halyn is the most gullable lion you will ever meet. You can tell him that the moon is made of cheese and he'll believe you. Tell him the sky is actually a giant body of water just waiting to find a crack in the shield protecting us, and he'll duck and cover. However this gullability also means he is very creative. His mind wonders about things and always has "what if"s circling around. Halyn is also kind and charming.  Name: Failynn (fae-lynn) Meaning: A Graceful Woman [Irish] Nicknames: Lynn, Fae Orientation: ~unknown~ Personality: Lynn never get's angry, upset, or depressed. In fact she's not very emotional at all. She's rather prim and proper for such a young lioness. However should a moment arise where someone is especially cruel to her, she will react. And never call Lynn "Fail" because she will attack you faster than you can finish saying it. She hates that part of her name because no one seems to know how to say it correctly. Lynn always speaks usuing either "big words" or proper edicet. She keeps it locked up deep inside her self. Most assume that her parents were much like over protective royal snobs based on Lynn's attitude in both life and towards prides. She never gives full respect to royals unless they've earned it. Which means she avoids prides as much as she can.
Despite her attitude, though, she can be rather playful. Instead of in physical ways, though, Lynn plays with words. She'll use sarcasim, riddles, and brain teasers in hopes of causing someone to join her in a match against wits. The creatures that can best her will deffinatly win her heart. He tries his hardest to do the right thing, but the universe ends up turning it around on him. That doesn't get him down, however! Instead he sees everything as a challenge. When Ellard's sisters grew up they moved to other prides and had children. Ellard, however, stayed behind a little longer. He would have stayed there indefinatly if it weren't for the King's son. The boy saw Ellard as a challenge.
The day the two finally had their first match was the day Ellard was banished from his home. Now the guy wanders the lands looking for someone to take care of him and for him to take care of.
