In the year 3476 the human race made great strides in the fields of space travel and human alteration. With these advancements brought a new era of human expansion and dreams of prospecting far off planets for valuable minerals. Some of the richer humans took advantage of the human alterations in the form of biointelachips implanted into the brain to enhance brain function in certain areas such as speech, logical reasoning, and memory.

As Humanity spread outward into the great expanse of space groups of thugs and profiteers formed gangs that threatened the lives of civilians out to find freedom among the stars. These gangs attacked and pillaged ships bound for far off lands, mining ships off to strike it rich on asteroids and other worlds, or ships out just to trade between stations. To counter act this growing threat the United Earth Emirate (UEE) created the Universal Defense Force (UDF) to protect those who wish to live peacefully and punish those who don't. Unfortunately the UDF could only reach so far so instead of ending the gangs they ran to the outskirts of the UDF's area of protection.

As time went on the UDF grew to strong for it's own good. Corruption began to break its way into the UDF. This allowed the gangs to recruit freedom fighters and form rebel factions. The gangs and rebels became more aggressive towards the UDF, civilian colonies, and each other. With all that has happened it begs the question what is yet to come?

The Main setting for this story is aboard the space station Excursion where everyone from UDF solders to local gangs and civilian workers come to trade, relax, and survive. This station is located at the outer rim of the UDF's protection range. It gets some protection from the UDF but not enough to keep out all the gangs. Life aboard this station is not the easiest for most but not the worst in the universe. There is enough living quarters for everyone as well as a few hotels for the travelers. All manner of things can be found aboard for the right price and if your willing to look hard enough.

And where might you fall into this messed up universe one may ask. Well that is for you to decide. Are you a rebel in search of freedom from the corrupt UDF or just out to make a name and a profit from the blood of others. Mite you be a naive UDF solder wanting to do good in the universe or would you rather force your own agenda on the lesser civilians? Or maybe both of those seem to exciting and you would rather live as a civilian doing whatever it is civilians do? That is your destiny to decide.

I set this up to put some sort of guidelines to how good or evil a type of character can be. Also this guide show who has power over who. This way we don't have solders telling captains what to do or people in the UDF who are pure evil. Depending on what category you're in you have to stay within the boundaries of your corruption scale. The power level is automatic so make sure you know who is above and below you. Oh and just because you have power over someone doesn't mean that they will always listen to you.

Personality: Loyal, friendly, helpful, fair, logical, trusting.
Weapons: Desert Eagle and An Ak470 both hand built from scrap parts.
Biography: Hawkeye was born to a family rich but with a brain defect that was effecting the logic area of his brain. Because of this his parents quickly had him fitted for a biointelachips in hopes of making him a normal child. This backfired in that the part of the brain that effects logic became to strong and effected other parts of his brain. This made him stand out in school because of the ways he acted. Hawkeye became an outcast but dreamed for a place where he wouldn't be looked at as odd. He looked to the skies and once he was 18 he ran away from his house and his old life. After years of getting any money he could, Hawkeye obtained enough money to buy a small shipping vessel he named The Raptor. Now he flies around as what he claims as free wile doing illegal salvage of destroyed vessels and any job he can get his hands on as he searches for a crew.
Other: He doesn't understand feelings. also in the pick pay no attention to the creature behind the person.

Biography: Ever since she was little...littler, she had a fascination with technology. Her father was a pro pilot for hire. He taught her everything he knew. Before long she was just as good as her old man. That's how she got the nickname Nosedive. If you ever run into trouble, she was the go to girl. She can fly you out of anything tight spot. Well so long as the price is right. A girl got to live, right. Now she is putting her skills to good use and apply to be a pilot for hire.
Other: She sometime get attached to the ships she flies. So don't scratch them, or you'll have to deal with a very enraged woman.

Biography: Myia grew up with her father all her life. Her father was part of a gang and made quite a bit of money. She would participate with the the gang once old enough. Then her father had set-up a hotel/cafe to bring more cash in and gave a place where the gangs could meet. Over the years changes were made making much more trouble for her father. When she had turned 19 her father was kill by a rival gang. That had made the papers, not just because of a rich mans death, but because more then half the gang was wiped out in a horrid massacre. Myia gained control and owner ship over the hotel/cafe. Everything settled down after a while. On the anniversary of her fathers death she holds a party to show she has not forgotten that day.

Personality: Though Xavier is a genius, he has never let that get to his head. He speaks with an air of authority, but not of arrogance. Hardships in his life have left him with a sense of kinsmanship to his fellow man, and he holds true to the belief that every man is as equal as the next, no matter their view on life. He uses this philosophy in every aspect of his life, and it has helped him become a shrewd businessman.

Biography: Xavier was born on the small planetary colony J9X-55M, designation "Sol's Rebirth" on Earth Calendar Date 5 November 3529. As the sole heir to the Sagara Enterprises Corporation, run by his father Victor Sagara, Xavier's childhood was far from normal. At an early age, Xavier was implanted with an illegal experimental biointelachip produced in the R&D department of Sagara Enterprises. Though the chip was working as originally planned, it failed to cope with the amount of generated electricity of Xaviers neural impulses. The chip inevitably over-compensated for this neural activity, turning Xavier's mind into a veritable super-computer. Stimulation of the hippocampus reached an unprecedented level, turning his mind into an ever-growing encyclopedia. There was nothing he could not remember, and thus duplicate. As such, by the time he was 13, he had surpassed in knowledge the entirety of the Sagara Enterprises top scientists. He began to design and produce basic A.I's, most being used to help with menial tasks. This outstanding intelligence however, came with its down-side. Due to the circumstances surrounding his gains, any and all official technological breakthroughs were not accredited to him, but rather to the Chief Researcher, Jonathan Durb.

At age 15, he graduated from Charlemagne University and began to work full-time as the Head Research Developer for his fathers corporation. At age 22, his work was famous for its breakthroughs in Colonization and Aerospace Propulsion, some of the designs being incorporated in many of the Spaceships under construction at the time. It was at this time, the ill-begotten fame obtained by Jonathan Durb finally took its toll on Sagara Enterprises. Victor Sagara was forced to sell over all facilities to a competing company, thus eliminating the Sagara Enterprises corporation. The loss of the Corporation Victor had built from the ground took a heavy toll on his health, and he died a year later.

All financial and material wealth was passed into the possession of Xavier. His father had taken great care to save up a rather large fortune during his time as CEO, and although the corporation had been dismantled, the profit made from selling was substantial indeed. With this money, Xavier began to secretly build a private colony just outside the Universal Defense Force's protection range. Seven years later, when Xavier turned 30, SH1-1536 designation "Death's Exiled" was completed and the establishment of the Outer Rim Corporation was announced to various high ranking officials of the UEE and UDF. The goals of this new corporation were the Research and Development of military-grade weapons, Starships, and the production thereof. Great lengths were taken to insure the secrecy of this organization, and as such very few people even know it or the colony exists. All products were sold to the highest bidder, be they rebel, mercenary, or UDF.

Currently, no information has been released to anyone about ORC's machinations. What few products were released two years ago are all that have been seen from the mysterious corporation. The last known piece of information released was that the Outer Rim Corporation had began construction on something named "Evening Star." There is speculation that the corporation is preparing something big for the world of humanity, be it for better or worse.

Other:Spider Wire: An ingenious defense weapon. Spider wire is thin metallic wire made from an extremely durable metal alloy. No human can break it with their own strength. Spider wire is fired from frontal compartments of Xavier’s utility belt. It will wrap around a subject immobilizing them. In some cases it will bind them to another object such as a near by railing or wall. A strong durable knife could cut this wire, but it would take a lot of effort and time if they could get to their knife. Being bound by this contraption is not lethal, however it is extremely uncomfortable.

ETIRUN: External Transitional Intelligence and Reconaissance Unilateral Neuro-link, or ETI for short, is an experimental A.I. developed by Xavier. ETI is stored in a retractable visor that when in use covers the users eyes. When retracted it sits in the users left ear (similar to what our Bluetooth does). The visor instantly connects Xavier to his mainframe computer database, and can act as a communication device by hijacking itself onto whatever frequency it needs to use to communicate with any particular person. The main feature of ETI is his cracking and hacking skills. Updated by Xavier himself, there is no such thing as "hack-proof" when it comes to ETI. This has proved an invaluable service to Xavier during his exploits. Though the programming has yet to become fully functional, ETI is capable of becoming the ship-board AI for Evening Star once it has reached completion.
