The lion sat on the sand at the beach, his eyes staring ahead at the horizon. For once in his life, he was settled down... In a pride... As a healer... Where he had made friends... It all felt a little unreal to him, the lone wanderer, but when he wakes up everyday to see the same forest at the side, and smell the same, familiar smell of the place he calls 'home'... It was a nice, comfortable feeling, and he thoroughly enjoyed it.
He hadn't felt this... Attached to any place ever since he lost his mother, for she built the home other home he knew.
Jasiri'ka blinked, the edges of his mouth twitching upwards in a smile. His mother will be proud of him, and so will his father, wherever he might be right now... How he wish he could tell them! About Siti, and how she changed his life. He really would follow her to the ends of the world... At the thought, the male blushed, and closed his eyes, relaxing at the sound of the waves as they reach the shore, and retreat back into the ocean.
It really was peaceful.

The male's nose twitched as the smell of the beach rose in his nose. His eyes snapped open, if he could smell the beach it was about time for him to wake up. It took him a moment, he rose his head and looked around. He was still staying in Siti's den helping her with the cubs. He grunted softly before he stretched out digging his claws into the ground and then lifting himself up dragging them along the dirt as he pulled his feet closer to himself.
He slowly started to move forward out of the den, looking around as he did. he wasn't that sure of what he wanted to do today but he knew one good way to start the morning was to head out to the beach. He shook his head, getting the dust out of his small fluffy mane before he started a trot out toward the beach, his favorite part of this home.
As the orange male approached the water something caught his eye off to the side. Jasiri, the male he ran into a while ago, he noticed the male around here more figuring that he was now part of the pride. The Udo'Tau started to make his way over to the male. "Hello there Jasiri!" He called out with a smile on his face. Since being with Siti the male had become a lot more friendly, getting along with others so much more. He enjoyed it. Yet his sister was still in the back of his mind, all times.

At hearing his name, the male's ears twitched and he stood up, turning around to see who the voice belongs to. At seeing the other male, he blinked, a little confused. He had seen this other male before, some time ago. However, he just couldn't place his paw on where or when... Staring at the orange male for a while more, Jasiri's eyes widened as he stood up, a smile on his lips as he tilted his head a little. Yes, that was it!
"Udo? Is that really you?"

Udo smiled as e noticed that the male really didn't reconize him. To a point it didn't surprise him.Udo now had a mane, and after all that time being smaller... Being young he was now full sized, able to do as much as he wanted. He was so glad. Proud of himself too.
"Ah. Yes it is." He smiled bumping his head against his in a friendly gesture. He sat down not that far away from the male. With a nod and a smile he looked at the male. "What have you been up to? I haven't seen you in a while." He chuckled softly at the idea before sitting back on his haunches. He was glad to run into the male again, aslo glad to see him around the pride more.

Jasiri'ka's smile widened, "I got accepted into the pride, made some new friends like you, and..." His voice faded away; he had wanted to say 'Met someone who became very special to me', but he wondered if Siti told Udo anything. After all, he didn't really proclaim anything to her yet, but they seem to get along very well... And he knows that it is going to work out.
"So as you can see, a lot of things happened," The larger male smiled, chuckling a little as he observed Udo, "And I see you've grown up a lot during this time too. Last I saw you, you didn't have a full mane, and you were a little smaller. How's it feel like, being an adult?"
{OOC note: Kao and I made plots that Siti will ask Jasiri to go with her on the journey. >o> However, the RP has not been done yet, so... It hadn't happened ICly. :3}

Udo chuckled slightly, he was kinda glad to see the male around. "Well, I'm glad to see that you found a home, I love this place." He looked around out at the water, he loved seeing this veiw everyday so much." The sat back more on his haunches before smling.
"Ah yes I have to agree a lot of things have been going on." He grinned slightly then shook out his mane a but not really showing if off, he was just used to flicking his 'mane' out of his eyes when he was younger, he forgot that the thing was a lot bigger now. "Yeah." He laughed slightly before smiling. "I feel bigger." He chuckled slightly before shrugging. "Really I don't know. To me it really doesn't feel any different."

"I'm loving it here too," Jasiri'ka smiled, closing his eyes as a gentle sea breeze swept past, ruffling his fur slightly. Opening his eyes, he took in a deep breathe and let it out, the smile on his lips widening as he nodding, "I feel happy here. I'm just glad I can call it my home, and have a den to return to every single night."
Chuckling, the male looked serious for a moment, "Thought of leaving on a search for your sister? Sorry if this question is... Well... Sensitive." His voice faded, and he looked surprised at himself for a second, but quickly regained his composure as he bowed his head slightly.

Udo'Tau smiled at the male nodding then looking around with his smile growing just a little bit more."Well I'm glad that you are enjoying it, I really don't know anyone who doesn't like it. He shook out his mane once more looking out at the water, his favorite part of this pride was coming out here at night time and enjoying watching the water it was always so nice.
Then he paused thinking about it himself... Did he ever think of it... well... he did. But he wasn't even that sure if he was alive but you never knew. "Well..." He shrugged for a moment before smiling. "Yeah... I have... Now that I'm older I've really been thinking about it but at the same time I'm really hoping that she is okay. I really do." He bit the inside of his lip for a moment. He was sure that she was fine, she was strong she was always strong.

"Its better to go out and search for that answer," Jasiri'ka replied with a gentle smile, giving a nod as he looked at the horizon, giving a long pause. Then, he turned his attention back to Udo, "I once went on a journey like that too - for my father. I think I've briefly told you about it? Well, although I never did find him again, I don't regret anything because I know I tried... And wherever he may be now, I'm sure he feels my sincerity."

Udo'Tau chuckled slightly with a nod. "Yes I have to agree, the only way I'm going to get a answer is IF I go out." He laughed at himself and shook his head. He knew in his mind that it was the only way he was going to get a answer to anything. If she was alive he was going to have to go out and find her himself.
He looked at the male and nodded. "Yes, I do remember." He nodded before letting the male go on. "I'm... Sorry to hear that you didn't find him. I hope that one day you can." He smiled softly and just for the moment he wondered what his parents were doing at the moment, his real parents and what his real siblings were doing. That was something rare.

"Thank you," The older male chuckled, and slowly shook his head with his eyes close. Then, he looked up at Udo again, "Although to be honest, he might have... Well, died from old age by now." His voice faded away, and he paused, and let out a light chuckle, the look of mild sorrow vanishing from his face.
"If my father is still out there with us, he's probably a grandfather or great-grandfather by now." Jasiri'ka continued, his tail curling up beside him. He smiled, "Good luck for when you do go in search of your sister. I hope that you find her..."

Udo'Tau looked at the male and shrugged slightly, a sympathetic smile on his face. He shrugged slightly, the male was older and he could have been, he had been dead, but he wasn't going to say anything about that. "You never know, he could be alive, you never know." He nodded, he liked to think about the idea of others still being alive or around, even if he didn't know them himself, but if they were related to some one he knew it was always great.
"He'd probally be pretty proud to know that." He grinned at the other male for a moment before nodding and looking out at the water. "Thank you, and I hope I do too." He sighed softly before smiling."If I do then I will be taking her here with me... i hope that she will like it." He bit his tongue before sitting back on his haunches more. Hopefully she would like it here.

"That's true," Jasiri'ka found himself smiling fondly at the male in front of him, as he continued, "However, I do remember that he had led a fulfilling life, and have several other children." He paused, his smile widening, "If he had indeed passed on, I know that he left with an open heart and a smile on his lips. He is accomplished, and I'm sure he left without regrets... I don't know why, but I feel like he knows I'm alive."
He looked at Udo, giving a nod, "I'm sure she'll like it here... What's not to like?" He smiled, hoping the other male understood his statement, having been here for longer than he did. Then, he paused, blushing slightly as he averted his glaze.
"To be honest... I do have something important to tell you..."

Udo'Tau grinned at the male nodding to him. "Well if he had other children that means that you have brothers and sisters... Even if he has passed away... You have brothers and sisters that you might be able to find." He grinned widely at the idea, he was thinking himself if he couldn't find his sister he would go out and find his parents, real parents, and tell them t hat she was lost... Or at worst dead. Even though he wished that he could give them defiant answer. Now that he though of it he wasn't even sure of why he ran away. Well. It didn't matter now. He was happy.
Udo'Tau grinned as he looked out at the ocean. A smile growing on his lips. "I'm sure that she would like it. We used to travel a lot, and this place is great for it." He closed his eyes for a moment listening to ocean and smelling it with his nose. "She would love the water." He chuckled, grinning tat the idea, it really did seem like something that she would like, he remembered that she loved playing in the water, and well here there was plenty to go around.
He was drawn out of his thoughts by Jasiri'ka talking again. He looked at him then smiled softly. "Whats up?" He asked wondering what the male could been talking about, and why was he looking away like that.

Jasiri'ka stayed silent for a moment, turn around to stare at the horizon, the line between the ocean and the sky. Then, he frowned a little, as if preparing what to say in his head. His expression slowly changed to one that looked rather shy and he relaxed, taking a deep, sharp breath before turning to Udo, a small smile on his lips as he blushed, "The truth is, I've... Fallen deeply for Siti, your mother. I really want to spend the rest of my days with her... That is, if she allows me to."
His blush deepened, and the lion could feel his whole face heat up as he paused, letting out the breath he didn't know he was holding. Then, his smile widened a little as he tilted his head slightly to his side, his eyes staring into Udo's eyes as he waited nervously for a respond, his heart beating faster and faster.
